How to Install Bluetooth in Windows 11 and 10 (7 Easy Steps)

- Bluetooth not working even after installing and updating the bluetooth driver in Windows 11 or 10? Yellow exclamation mark against the bluetoth driver in device manager? Fix the problem by installing the driver in compatibility mode and installing some more files from the installation folder. The video shows the process step by step. 7 Steps
1- Delete corrupted bluetooth driver (please check the Bluetooth driver name before deleting as it'll be useful in the following steps)
2- Download bluetooth driver from here

(It's a driver for older version, but we will describe how to make it work on windows 10).
Note: Check the driver name before deleting it from device manager! Because there are three bluetooth drivers; qualcom, atheros, and broadcom. Your bluetooth driver will be (in most cases) any one of these three. So for e.g. if your old bluetooth driver was qualcom, please download qualcom from the link below. It works for most of the laptops including Dell and Lenovo.

Additional Note: The last three drivers doesn't need the following steps. You just have to delete the old driver and download and install the new driver. Restart your computer to apply the changes.
If you are continuing with Driver 1 follow the steps below.
3: Extract all files to Desktop in a new folder.
4: Open the extracted folder. Find your matching bit file from the list.
Windows 10 32 bit: Win732bit
Windows 10 64 bit: Win764bit
Right click on the matching file I properties I compatibility I run this program in compatibility mode for Windows 7
5: Install the matching file by double click or right click and run as administrator
6: Right click and Install all these files. Confirm "Yes" for all actions.

7: Restart your computer and Bluetooth should be working fine!. If it's not working, please install this file too

###UPDATE: Sometimes the bluetooth is automatically turned off/disabled. You can easily enable it by Right click on Start Button I Device Manager I Bluetooth (right click and Enable)

Right click on Windows Start Button I Device Manager I Bluetooth Drivers. Expand it. Check the driver name and delete it from device manager! I watched 7-9 videos, none of solution didn't worked. I went is support assitant application(Pre-installed) in windows & run the smart scan. After that he diagnosed 11 drivers that were missing & he downloaded the official drivers by himself and installed it. Simple & official solution if anything is not working. Thank you!

I see a lot of people asking "I don't even have it in my device manager?"
That's because your PC doesn't have a Bluetooth antenna or it's broken. You cannot just install Bluetooth to anything. It requires a Bluetooth device like a chip, it is not just data but an actual device you have to attach to your PC or have one installed already. You can buy an external device like a usb Bluetooth antenna for example.
Make sure check your device model if it came with bluetooth.

+Gaderic I use Win10 Pro 64-bit. I had Bluetooth in my HP dm4 1041tx laptop. But i did a system recovery once and since then Bluetooth is not working on my laptop and i have not bothered too. But now i have bought Bluetooth speakers and want to fix this issue. I have followed the above steps but it didn't help me. I have tried searching for Bluetooth drivers on HP website but they don't have Win10 drivers. Please advise.

I have just got a new PC , i7 8th generation on gigabyte Z370 HD3P. To connect my phone,keyboard and mice to the system, I got a Bluetooth dongle adapter , the Bluetooth shows up in the device manager and the taskbar, but it doesn't add any Bluetooth device, it keeps searching and doesnt detect any nearby bluetooth devices, which easily connect to my laptop. have tried all the videos and blog suggestions and even went so far as to call MS. They spent over 3 hours in remote assistance and couldn't fix it. Then i did something so simple and BOOM! The Bluetooth icon instantly appeared in the System Tray, Device Manager and Control Panel.
**I UNINSTALLED THE BLUETOOTH ADAPTER FROM DEVICE MANAGER**
Check the box to delete the driver as well and hopefully you will instantly see Bluetooth comeback with no restart. Good Luck!
For many of the comments here (including mine), we can't uninstall Bluetooth from the Device Manager because it's not even there in the first place. It's not hidden. It's not in the Network adapters and Software devices. Just not there.
