Born in '71 & from the South U.S. I never watched a single episode when Seinfeld ran. Thought wtf a show about NY Yuppie life relate to me, regardless of it being voted #1 GOAT SitCom? "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" has finally surpassed that stat today imo, but only because of so many seasons, as where Seinfeld refused anymore money & ended with 9 straight PERFECT seasons on top. It wasn't until 2000's I got homebound sick, got bored & only thing in house I hadn't watched was an 8 hr home vid someone taped with back to back episodes & figured why not? I wound up liking every single episode. Then liked every other episode they ever made. Have seen them all over & over & over, & after take a break, can watch them till I die! Not a single bad episode in 9 straight yrs!!! You do you, of course, friends, but every episode a worthy reaction-9 STRAIGHT SEASONS! ✌️🌎❤️
4:44 he's imitating Bette Davis in Whatever Happened to Baby Jane, where she taunts her sister in a wheelchair--"If I wasn't in this wheelchair" 'BUT YA ARE, BLANCHE, YA ARE!"
To me, that's just a middle-of-the-road quality episode (well, double episode), apart from the highlight that is the magic loogie scene. I'd recommend a lot of episodes before that one, particularly if you're not familiar with the JFK scene it parodies.
Good to see she's enjoying these. Seinfeld is still one of the best comedies. Keep going, there's a lot of episodes. Your question towards the end about recommendations, too many to mention, but The Marine Biologist and The Hamptons are some of my favorites, she would enjoy those. "I was in the pool!", that alone she'll never forget.
I always loved The Outing - not that there's anything wrong with that! 🤣 Also, maybe later, when George and Jerry are pitching "a show about nothing" to NBC.
And the bearded guy exiting the toilet is Larry Charles, a Director and writer on Seinfeld as well as Exec Producer on Curb Your Enthusiasm and Director of all the Borat films
I don't remember where it lands in terms of seasons, but "The Opposite" is one of the best IMHO. However, I'd hold off on that one until you've marinated on the characters a bit more. It wouldn't ruin anything, but it's better once you've gotten to know them. "The Library" on the other hand. Would be a fantastic episode for you right now. Philip Baker Hall appears as a library "cop" who is so funny you can catch moments where Jerry is about to break.
Fantastic reaction, guys! Very few reactors have watched this show, which is, IMHO, the greatest sitcom of all time! One episode you MUST be sure to include is Jerry's favourite episode; The Marine Biologist. And maybe check out The Pez, while you're at it. Two episodes that REALLY encapsulate the feel that the show became famous for.
I would recommend: "The Raincoats - Double episode" followed by "The Hamptons". Extra good if you've seen "Schindler's List". Fun Fact: Jerry and Larry David were asked to send VHS-tapes of the show to Spielberg in Europe because Steven needed something to take his mind off things, after filming a Holocaust movie all day. In return they kind of made jokes about "Schindler's List". I do not know if Steven Spielberg was OK with this or not... There is really no limit on what Seinfeld/David would joke about. YES, that was Larry David's voice about the special meal.
You gotta see the one with Jerry getting a car at the car dealership. It’s one of my favorites. Elaine keeps breaking up with her on and off boyfriend Puddy who works at the dealership 😂😂
I'm so excited for Casey to react to the Elaine dancing episode. Even if it doesn't get to RUclips, I'd love for her to see it. It's probably my favorite. 😊
4:42 - that's a reference to the wild classic thriller "What Ever Happened To Baby Jane?", George is specifically quoting and doing an impression of Bette Davis. GREAT movie, reaction video gold, one that needs way more reactions!!! PS: I can't believe you are posting so often! Thank you!!!! The list of episodes is endless: The Red Dot, The Hamptons, The Opposite, The Soup Nazi, The Big Salad, The Face Painter.....and I'll do one from Season One: The Stake Out!
Season 3 episodes- the tape, the nose job, the subway, the limo Season 4- the trip parts 1 and 2,the pick, the pilot Season 5-the mango, the puffy shirt, the glasses, lip reader, non fat yogurt, cigar store indian, marine biologist, the Hamptons, the opposite Season 6- the race Season 7-the engagement, the postponement, the cadillac
This is the first Seinfeld episode i ever watched as a little kid and i was hooked. The comedy is based off of classic teams like Laurel & Hardy and Abbott & Costello, where dealing with everyday life would cause interesting situations, usually ending in chaos and no happy ending.
The Hot Tub, The Rye, The Calzone, The Jimmy, The Susie, The Nap, The Yada Yada, The Slicer, The Dealership. Those are some of my favorites. Most are from 2nd half of series. Have not seen them mentioned yet. Others listed are also good.
S5 Ep21 - The Hamptons. The gang goes to a friend's beach house in the Hamptons and hilarity ensues when Jerry's date sees George naked as he's changing out of his wet swim trunks.
I think my absolute favorite episode is The Betrayal, because it’s the only episode that goes in reverse, and it answers questions you’ve had about certain characters.
It's fun watching younger folks doing these reactions and commenting on things that were normal then but you don't see today. There was a time when prisoners were transported on commercial airliners amongst regular passengers. There was no size limit or charge for checked baggage and flight attendants often looked the other way if your carry on was oversize. I am old enough to remember being able to smoke on flights. The entire cabin had a fog of smoke.
1:50 - I have worked in the airline industry for 30 years now. Yes, if you are rude to agents, they have definitely been known to intentionally mis-route your bag. I have seen agents mess with a person's reservation so that they may be fine on their first leg of a trip, but end up with problems on their connecting flight. Basically, don't be a jerk with the gate/check-in agents, they can really make your life miserable, all without you knowing.
Loving these reactions! An episode I think Kacee might enjoy is The Parking Garage. Edit : I typed this 5 seconds before I saw you guys already reacted to it lol
Classic episode 👏👏👏 love your channel guys and enjoy this show. My sis (r.i.p.) and I would always quote "I don't want to miss my chance". Lol episode where Kramer has to poop. Lol 😅😅😅
Man, flying in the US seems to be quite a different experience from the rest of the world. I've flown business and economy around the world since the 80s, apart from Americas, and I've never experienced anything even remotely like this 😮
Good sir, do not rush, but do not wait too long. You must find the exact right time, when she’s in tune with these characters and how they work, when she understands and appreciates the interweaving of plots, then you must show her… The Gum.
George got it so bad here, lol, he was just trying to save 50 bucks and he got his ass beat, wasted a few hundred dollars on tickets, and worse flew halfway around the country inadvertently.
The guy who stunk up the bathroom for Elaine is one of the head writers on the show, Larry Charles. He would later direct most of Sacha Baron Cohen's movies, notably the Borat movies.
I used to be into this show. Here's some season 5 episodes you might want to check out: The Glasses The Non-Fat Yogurt The Barber The Dinner Party The Wife

I was just about to mention that episode
Did u ever catch all the movie references on Seinfeld episodes?

The Seinfeld episode of the Soup Nazi is also a very good one :-)
The next episode that aired, The Pick, does directly follow the plot line with the model Jerry meets on the plane.
It wasn't a pick. It was a scratch. I once was caught in a pick. I was almost to the second knuckle. There was no hiding it.
@@Stuck-n-da-90slol that's more like a dig
@@ebb1787 A plow is even worse, that's when you gotta put that work in,
Unless you've seen JFK, it may be a little vague. Wayne Knight's character as Numa in JFK may be missed....plus the whole sequence of events.
Its annoying they don't just watch the whole show. ✌🏾 Every episode is good. Its always Seinfeld
MORE SEINFELD
The Opposite - classic episode
4:44 he's imitating Bette Davis in Whatever Happened to Baby Jane, where she taunts her sister in a wheelchair--"If I wasn't in this wheelchair" 'BUT YA ARE, BLANCHE, YA ARE!"
Just coming here to say this!
"The Merv Griffin Show" episode is one of the greatest episodes, and the best Kramer-featuring episode ever.
"where's the camera"?
"and WE'RE BACK!"
They are way too young to remember Merv Griffin unfortunately
He is absolutely hilarious in that! The bloopers from that episodes are even funnier!
@@shasta810 hahaha love that moment
You should show her the two-parter with Keith Hernandez.
Full support!
The Boyfriend
It would help if she’s seen JFK first.
I'd watch the 3rd base coach. I don't think he's waving you in.
To me, that's just a middle-of-the-road quality episode (well, double episode), apart from the highlight that is the magic loogie scene. I'd recommend a lot of episodes before that one, particularly if you're not familiar with the JFK scene it parodies.
One of the best story lines.
It was right after the JFK movie had come out.
The Marine Biologist is maybe my favorite episode. Also The Opposite is another great episode. Honestly most of them are very good
A hole in one :)
those are probably my 2 favorite, but every one of them has some part that is quotable
The sea was angry that day my friends.
@@williambaxter4628 that starts off that story and that was an epic speech by George.
Is anyone here a Marine Biologist?
I'm loving these Seinfeld reactions!
The guy who comes out of the bathroom when Elaine is waiting is Larry Charles, the writer of this and many other episodes.
Good to see she's enjoying these. Seinfeld is still one of the best comedies. Keep going, there's a lot of episodes. There are too damn many great episodes to try and choose just one. So many classics.
The Parking Garage is one of my absolute favorite episodes, but this is really fun too.
Ugh, I didn't like that at all: so skeezy.
@jrobwoo688 That was one of the first that I really remembered seeing and I just remember dying of laughter during it.
The “smelly car” is one of my favorites. I love your casts, and I love Seinfeld 😊
THE BEAST
The bubble boy
Another vote for the Junior Mint. Ultimately, all of the episodes are worth watching.
Part of the fun of Seinfeld is catching the Larry Davis cameos. Most of them are voice only but he appears on camera a few times too.
And the bearded guy exiting the toilet is Larry Charles, a Director and writer on Seinfeld as well as Exec Producer on Curb Your Enthusiasm and Director of all the Borat films
The bubble boy is one of the great episodes!
The bro/manzier episode (called The Doorman), the jerk store episode, basically any episode with George's dad and mom together

The woman chewing gum next to Elaine is Julia's mother. Yaarr!
Dude and Dudette, try this one: "The Hamptons" Season 5, Episode 21 - See, the problem is that George was "in the pool".
The Subway for Elaine’s amazing inner monologue to react to.
The Subway, for sure!
