Since she likes George so much you should introduce her to "Curb Your Enthusiasm" which is written and starred in by Larry David. He's who wrote all of George's lines. And if you haven't seen it, you both would love the "IT Crowd" which is a british situational comedy.
Did you watch The Reverse Peephole? That episode is very funny and underrated
kramer doesnt really "open the door", per se...whether its open or shut, he just kind of blusters in.
also...kramer blowing thru the doorway is kind of his eqivelant of a "catch phrase/reoccurring line" for a sitcom character, lol
eric cartman: screw u guys, im going home = kramer: blusters excitedly thru jerry's front door.
The hospital scene is probably the greatest callback ever.
One of the best running gags ever. 😆😆😅😂🤣
Complete comedic genius.
Absolutely!
Yes
"i've been outed, and i wasn't even in!"🤣
The sync up with the male nurse sponge bath to the previous female nurse sponge bath in The Contest is pure genius.
I hate that they don't react to more episodes. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Well stop complaining then
@AdamJ09303 that went right over your head
I see what you did there 😉
I like that, clever.
They will watch them all it seems, but then it makes no sense to not watch all of them.
It’s amazing that Jason Alexander NEVER won an Emmy for playing George!
Behind the scenes he isn’t a nice person, doesn’t know how to play nice in the sandbox.
@@crystalship9900that has no bearing on how good his performance was. There tons of actors and actresses that are horrible people have awards.
@@Shadowfax-1980 It has everything to do with it. People don’t like him. That’s why he’s a loser. If they don’t like ya, they aren’t gonna award ya and that was def the case. He didn’t deserve it anyway. 🙄
@@crystalship9900 Did he run over your dog? It’s not like he went on a racist tirade at a comedy club.
Well he was up against Kramer and Niles from Frasier every year, tough field to win in.
George is absolutely the best character
George and Kramer are hilarious. Newman came later but he was also very funny. George's parents were perfectly cast.
@@PassivePortfolios Yea Jerry Stiller as George’s dad is the best character that’s not the main 4
Nah Jerry is the best, everyone else revolves around him
George is hands down my favorite. Maybe my favorite sitcom character ever.
It's a team effort
Jason Alexander is one of the greatest comedic actors ever.
This.
And he says it has damaged his career...the eternal George.
One of the best things about George, is that when you know his parents you realize why he is the way he is.
George is the Goat. I hope they do the episode where George is intentionally avoiding his gf. "Believe it or not George isn't at home, please leave a message at the beep..."
Where could I be??
For me the funniest part is when Jerry senses that something is weird about those questions but can't put his finger on it.
This one is a classic. Larry David said George is most like him. That’s why. Curb Your Enthusiasm is so funny. It’s a mix of all the characters but mostly George.
You got to do The Opposite. Not sure if that's the title of the episode but if you've seen it, you know what it is.
Definitely a must-see episode
It is the title
My all time favorite episode!
If your first instinct is to do The Opposite, then they should do The Bizarro Jerry.
My fave all time. Even Steven!
An underrated episode that I think you'll love is "The Jimmy"
Jimmy doesn’t like misunderstandings.
Agreed!
Jimmy doesn't think that episode is underrated.
Jimmy thinks you're gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
@@gmaqwert you see, Jimmy and misunderstandings... kinda clash!
“Not that there is anything wrong with that!”
Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld have said that it’s a way they found to make an episode about such sensitive topic without offending too many people.
I don't think anybody was worried about offending anyone back then and to be honest nobody should be worried about offending anyone today
@@jamesrein648 Wrong.
Cancellation culture has been around for a long time. Remember they had to respect network tv standards.
Even the Simpsons had to be careful. Family guy came out later and they were able to push it a little more and they still got literally cancelled twice.
Take it easy bro. We all agree nobody should cancel anyone. This shouldn’t be a debate.
@@jamesrein648The 90's is when people started getting super sensitive about everything.
@@ryanjacobson2508 then in the 2000s nobody gave a shit. Did you know Seinfeld was deemed too Jewish buy critics you think they were concerned about hurting people's feelings
@@jamesrein648 the 2000s were worse than the 90s for cancel culture stuff.
George seems to get better as time goes by. Remember that holistic healer that gave George something to drink and he turned red as a beet? That image reminds me of George in every episode his self-made stress/blood pressure must have been sky high before lunch. My 88-year-old mom loves how Jerry is on the verge of laughing in almost every scene.
I love that they are watching random episodes. this one is top 10 for me.
I hate it.
@@Nekotaku_TV agree. Especially cause things carry on to the next episode
Haha your laughs are so contagious!!! This is my favourite seinfeld episode, no doubt, followed by "the contest"
Forgot how hilarious this episode was 😂 also i love the praise your giving to george as a character, because i feel like in any conversation i've ever had with somebody who doesn't like seinfeld, they always name george as being the reason they don't like it. but this show would not be what it is without him, i mean he's the fictionalized version of larry david so of course he is an essential character.
Another great George episode is The Fire. "Blow out the candle. Blow out the candle" "You are killing him" 😂
The first whole conversation scene with the two way phone is funnier than half the shows out now, let's be real.
I always find it funny how most favourite characters in movies/tv shows tend to be characters who you would hate to be around in real life.
Good point actually. George in real life would drive me bonkers but to watch him on Seinfeld is hilarious.
I saw in an interview that Jerry did not want his writers to spend any time on a title. That is why every title is just "The ....." Two great George episodes are "The Hamptons" & "The Marine Biologist". There's plenty more but those come to mind. Love your reactions.
It makes identifying them easy too.
Another thing Friends copied.
I never would have expected Kacey to be a george but that just makes my respect for her even greater
I love this episode so much because they always clarify through the episode as to avoid issues 🤣Not that there's anything wrong with that
The Serenity Now has to be in the list somewhere. And Festivus. And Assman.
Finally someone other than me asked for "The Fusilli Jerry."
Jerry Stiller in The Festivus OMG lol.
I really do think this episode helped progress tolerance in the 90's.
George is most people's favorite character. Most viewer polls and even critics polls I've seen have him #1. I grew up with a group of friends (11 of us, we all played basketball on the same team for many years and became really good friends to this day) and 6 of us are big Seinfeld fans. 5 of us are team George and 1 is Kramer. Knowing that George is pretty much Larry David in real life makes it even better/funnier👍
That show is just classic
George's character is straight out of the mind and life of the co-creator of the show Larry David. If you watch the first few episodes of the show, you'd notice that George was playing the character more like Woody Allen. Then, he had a meeting with Larry about an episode he wrote and he didn't understand why his character would react a certain way and Larry got upset and explained how he was in a similar situation and it's exactly how he reacted, then Jason (the actor who played George) said "Oh, he wants me to play the role like him.
Larry went on to have a great show on HBO that's still running called Curb your enthusiasm where he plays a semi-fictional version of himself as the creator of Seinfeld, it's really great too
George is the funniest character hands down.
What's funny about George is the fact that a lot of his situations or things he says are so fucking crazy, but also be so relatable.
So glad you did this episode! This is an absolute classic, and easily in the top 5 Seinfeld episodes ever 🙂
This episode reminds me of the episode where George was questioning himself because he thinks "it moved" during a massage.
George is also my spirit animal!
Almost ready for Curb 😂😂😂
One of the best movies he was in for voice acting was the bee movie
🎶Here comes the sun.🎶
But.. his voice was himself. He wasn't voice acting. He was just acting. He wasn't doing a voice lol
@@chrisnorris7527a lot of voice actors use their own voice like Patrick warburton for example. The acting is that they say things that are happening to the cartoon as thought it was happening to themselves
Dunston Checks In.
He did a lot of the twilight zone radio shows that were very good to.
The Opposite is hilarious as well
Loving these reactions, guys! Only thing I'm hoping for is some episodes featuring George's dad.
So much fun, just keep 'em coming!!!!
I agree George is the best character on Seinfeld. You should see the episode The Dealership
Also recommend: The Hamptons- the Fusilli Jerry- the face painter- the sponge- the marine biologist- the opposite- the junior mint- the burning- the pool guy- the jimmy
Oh just watch em all!! 😂u’ll love em all!!😂
"Not that there's anything wrong with that" became one of the big catch phrases of the 90's.
I think it's amazing that you guys are reacting to this show it was one of the funniest shows ever on television
Wow I really enjoy your videos of you both watching old episodes of Jerry Seinfeld
To me the The Invitations episode is a great Episode
Wish I could go back and watch these for the first time again.
You should try to get a few more with George's parents. I think she'd get a kick. Great reactions. I appreciate you two actually getting the bits beyond the superficial.
Loving these Seinfeld reacts lol.
Your laughs are infectious. Newly subscribed from NM ✌️
I watched some RUclips video about queer representation and apparently this episode was actually a big one for talking about sexuality in the 90s which it’s both kinda cool and very funny.
I love that you pointed out that is was the “New York POST” 😂 aka the “bastion of ‘accurate’ tabloid journalism” 😉😅🙂
Really lovin' these reactions! So many good episodes so hopefully a lot more to come!
"Not that there's anything wrong with that" lives in my head rent-free right next to "These pretzels are making me thirsty."
LOL. That is a good episode.
Every single time me or someone else in my house has pretzels, there's always at least one "These pretzels.. are making me thirsty!"
I love the look on George's mom's face when he claims to be "Buck Naked".
"He's the phone man. Not that there is anything wrong with that."😂😂
George is my fav TV character ever. The Marine Biologist is one of George's best. The Seven and The Marble Rye are 2 more great George episodes.
Opposite George!
The actors portraying George and Kramer do an incredible job. They are nothing at all like these characters in real life. They are amazing!
You have to check out the episode, The Switch. 😂
Here are some episodes that are my favorite in this season that you may watch. “The Old Man”, “The Smelly Car”, and “The handicap spot”. You should try to watch them.
See. George is one of the best characters in TV history
Anthonys cackle could possiblly de-throne kamala harris.
Another classic
The contest for me is very memorable also
Good "Elaine-centric episodes would be: The Stall, The Beard, The Susie, The Subway, the Little Kicks, The Bizzarro Jerry, The Opposite (Like Elaine & George-centric)
George & Elaine are my favorite characters, but the whole cast is great ^_^
Other suggestions (just in general): The Library, The Hamptons, The Limo, The Marine Biologist, The Voice, The Conversion
Another one for Elaine is The Sponge.
George is my favorite too!
'fell for him' lol, good one.
For the ultimate George hay oanick episode, check out The Note. "I think it moved."
The Note and The LIBRARY... definitely 2 that will have you rolling 😂
The Note and don't remember the title..the one where I think Jerrys GF seems him after getting out of the pool.
@@kennethbartlett4302 The Hamptons.
If Kacee loves George, then she would LOVE Curb Your Enthusiasm because George is based on Seinfeld's co-creator and writer Larry David - who also stars as himself on CYE.
GEORGE WAS LARRY DAVID in SEINFELD. DURRR.
One of the best Seinfeld episodes!
George is my favorite too. He's freaking great.
The two dudes sponge bath was so funny.
7:01 this is the best part
I love the Predator shirt. Rocky Davies is an awesome designer!!!
Best episodes (imo) are The Chicken Roaster and the Bizarro Jerry (man hands)...
The light from the sign in Kramers bedroom is hysterical.
The Fusilli Jerry & The Race are my faves
You should really watch all of seasons 3-6 in order. Probably the best 4 year comedy run.
Adding in the phrase of "not that there's anything wrong with that" as a qualifier, pretty much allowed them to poke fun at "coming out" and say virtually anything they wanted about a then almost completely taboo subject. That's what set Seinfeld above all sitcoms. They were able to find ways to be offensive and insulting without appearing to be offensive and insulting. Pure genius.
You missed the whole point of this episode. They were never offensive and insulting and they never intended to be.
@@earth2saka
I didn't miss anything gay boy. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
The Marine Biologist or the Art Vandelay episodes has to be the best George episodes out of the ones i watched
Since George is playing "the real Larry David", its not a coincidence that he says most of the outlandish stuff.
I wish you'd have her react to the whole series. I know it would be long, but so worth it.
You gotta do "The Package" and "The Letter"
I love these
This is the episode that saved the show. The show was on the chopping block until this, the word of mouth from this episode and all the news reaction to it made it a overnight sensation kind of like Ned Stark`s faith on the 9th episode on GoT.
9:40 nice catch lol
"NOT that there's anything WRONG with THAT." Classic...
You need to watch the episode called The Note
Do The Opposite , my favorite
8:32 "Don't Ask, Don't Tell", and all.
Lol the plot of this episode is such 90s
2:47 Fun Fact: Something about George said about he hates his voice. The voice we hear recorded and played back to us is how we really sound. The voice you hear when you talk sounds different because the way it resonates in your skull. That's why everyone always says they don't like their recorded voice. Now you know. Also, I like that they used the correct term "buck naked" everyone says butt naked all the time lol
Definitely my favorite episode....and yes, I still say "Not that there's anything wrong with that" almost 30 years later
gotta love george
They need to watch the episode where Elaine dances
The Little Kicks. lol
George was my favorite too, even though the Kramer character was the big breakout hit.
Jerry Stiller was the highlight of this show for me lol
The👏🏽Strike👏🏽The👏🏽Strike👏🏽The👏🏽Strike!
Y’all should watch The big Salad 🥗 episode
One of my faves!
wait until george's dad starts showing up
Thanks for review on another Seinfeld episode. I would recommend covering a reaction to Soup Nazi episode and the Shrinkage episode (not sure what it is called exactly maybe The Hamptons episode) (George at the beach cottage after swimming gets caught undressed by his girlfriend walking in on him, and has anxiety over apparent shrinkage coming out of the water which he tries to defend himself in front of his friends - another Howl of an episode). George regularly gets into the most trouble on this show.
The line "not that there's anything wrong with that!" saved them from being sued. So smart!
Sued for what
@@Josh_H
For being gay.
Sued by whom? I’m a lawyer ant can’t imagine what kind of claim that could possibly be.
@@pieperbe it doesn't take much to be "harmed". Anyone can turn anything into a claim.
@kbrewski1 not that there's anything wrong with that
