Please watch the boondocks. I BEG!
I highly suggest All in the Family. That was the first Sitcom that really pushed the boundaries but also had a lot of reflection on social issues. You won't regret it.
@@jgsrhythm100 I graduated college in 1969 and was very involved in the Civil Rights movement. When ALL IN THE FAMILY first aired I fell in love with the show. I never missed an episode.....NEVER.
@mikealvarez2322
I was born in 66 so you were old enough to fully understand and appreciate when first aired.
Let's keep suggesting !!
marine biologist will be a riot
Like an old man trying to send back soup at a deli.
THE SEA WAS ANGRY THAT DAY MY FRIEND!
Definitely a top 5 episode. Maybe top 2 behind The Contest.
The best one
Essential episode, the final scene was written last minute, they did one read through before they filmed it, so good
This show does a really great job at callbacks. "It moved" was a famous line from another episode where George gets an massage.
The note!!
“How’d you hurt the hamstring?”
“Korea”

It warms my heart to see new Seinfeld fans. It gives me hope.
I was a senior in high school when the first season was airing, and one of my teachers was such a super fan that he would replicate Kramer anytime he entered the room, and would talk about the show nearly every day. It was corny, but hilarious.
Did he nearly break the door off the hinges every time he burst into the room?
That's actually really cool. It was such a big show and all the teachers and students talked about it
Today I have watched 7 episodes of you two responding to Seinfeld. At first, I was perturbed by your constant comments that interrupted the episodes but after watching two more episodes, it did not matter. Your hilarious laughter was more important and pulled me in! I have five brothers (I'm the oldest at 64 yo), and all six of us were born and bred in a Central Pennsylvania farming/factory small town, but now we live all over the country; Floridia, California, Ohio. Maryland and Pennsylvania . I lived in Manhattan after college for about three years right before the series started, so it gave me a different perspective on the show. However, all my brothers (despite us living in rural or urban areas) have been Seinfeld fans since the beginning. When we get together, the first thing we do is watch Seinfeld. Last year my sister-in-law bought a Seinfeld trivia game thinking she would stump us..................WRONG! We got the answers even before she finished the question! Keep it up you two...it's an extreme pleasure seeing a different generation respond positively to Seinfeld.
"We have to have sex to SAVE the friendship" gets me every time.
I was in high school and we definitely talked about Seinfeld the next morning.
The show really was a big sensation. In the early 2000s people on the internet used to say that Seinfeld was the best tv show ever, you would read that all the time. Now it's The Sopranos, or Breaking Bad. But back in the day, it was Seinfeld
But for everyday life and mishaps... Seinfeld holds
You could still argue that it's the best comedy or sitcom ever.
@@derekveech966 for best comedy Seinfeld is easily king. I’m still a ‘kid’ and I know that
Seinfeld vs Friends, Seinfeld always wins
NOW it's Sopranos and Breaking Bad??? what decade do you think this is?
Casey hit on something interesting when she talked about us being in the age of streaming. We all watch what we want, when we want to nowadays, but that wasn't always the case. When something became as popular and mainstream as Seinfeld back in the day, everyone in the country would watch it on the same day. It became a kind of shared cultural experience, and so everyone would talk about it the next day at work, in school or on campus.
I even remember being a kid in the 80s and when the G.I. Joe cartoon first aired, they had it as a special mini-series on at prime time during weekdays. You couldn't just stream cartoons at will, and I don't think there was a dedicated cable cartoon channel back then, if you even had cable at all. If you got cartoons on a weeknight, that was rare so you were definitely going to watch them. So every kid in elementary school talked about each episode the next day.
Now we all watch shows, cartoons and anime at our own pace and of course still love to talk about it with other fans, but it's not quite the same.
Agreed. That shared cultural experience is gone.
agreed, it was a weird sense of cultural unity. seinfeld, cheers, friends, we used to go meet at different friends houses to watch em. then there was the imitation, cloths, manerisms, catch phrases, hair even
Kacee needs to watch something with Frank Costanza in it. He's a big hit George, BIG!
Agree!! I love George's parents. He's also great if not more on "King of Queens". Have you seen it?
@@TommyBBQBessinger Yeah, that show was def in my rotation when I was in school hah. He played Leah Remini's dad in that one if memory serves?
That's Gold Jerry! GOLD!!
Are you trying to keep us out of Del Boca Vista?
@@TommyBBQBessingerHe's much funnier in King Of Queens because there's more screen time with him. Luv that show!!
The rude malevolent shopkeeper is one of my favorite running gags on this show. From drycleaners to soup Nazis, keep an eye out for it. Also, you didn't include Kramer's rant about fruit in the grocery store, which was a highlight of that episode. "The apples are mealy, the oranges are dry. I don't know what's going on with the Papaya!" flashes thru my mind every time I'm in the produce aisles to this day. One of the most intelligent and silly television shows to ever air. Don't forget to check out The Stand-in. Keep up the good work.
She needs to see “the smelly car” episode. One of the all the best episodes
Aw God. Haven't seen that in years. One of my top ten.
It was THE water cooler discussion the day after it aired every week here in Australia. Whatever catchphrase we heard on the show the night before, became the language we used with colleagues. You'd call a colleague on the phone, they'd answer "Giddy-up". Essential viewing and every line dissected around the water cooler in the office.
"Curb Your Enthusiasm" is a show based upon the real life George.
Kramer faking it is the greatest thing ever 😂
The lip reader is HILARIOUS!!!! I hope you'll react to it some time
This was the first episode of 1993-94 season and Seinfeld taking over Cheers timeslot at 9:00pm. (Cheers was the reigning #1 show but ended the spring of ‘93). This is when Seinfeld truly became Seinfeld among the masses. It was the #1 that year and never relinquished that spot again.
"He Took It Out" | The Stand-In | Seinfeld This is one of the best!!!!
"I probably would...but then again, I'm an enigma." 😂😂
impeccable timing i just finished watching the last one
2:34 Kacee's eyes are like 'oh boy'.
You have to do the SOUP NAZI episode
it's so cool to see another channel reacting to this show, this show is hilarious I'm 7 seasons in lol!
Other than Susan, this is my favorite girlfriend of George's. She appears in one other episode, she's brilliant. ".....but then again, I'm an enigma." Ha! Great line, great line delivery.
She's great, she played Cuddy on House and was great in that too.
@@nluna75 Oh good! She went on to have a career! Of course she did, she's a GREAT comic actress! Same thing with the next episode she's in. Obviously she was so good they brought her back, because there's no reason to bring that character back, she's pretty pissed at the end of this episode!
@@TTM9691 Also Aang's daughter Kya in The Legend of Korra.
@@Rmlohner Don't know that one and doesn't sound like it's up my alley.....but I like her so much in these two episodes that I actually would give that one a try! Thanks!
Holy hell DC, my jaws get so sore from watching you two cracking up! I kind of wish you had just started from S1E1 and did the entire series, but I get it. I think you're in my top 5 favorite channels. 😅
This is real fun watching, as my work TV is using my Netflix months ago and I run Seinfeld nonstop, which was actually my first time ever watching the show myself. I'm actually halfway through a second run.
You guys need to do some episodes with Puddy (Patrick Walburton) on them. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I’m so glad you’re doing Seinfeld. I like your movie reactions but it’s so nice to watch this through fresh eyes. Glad you love it.
George's girlfriend was Cuddy on House.
Wow!! I knew she looked familiar 😂
Cheers from Singapore! Been watching a few videos from this channel especially on the reactions to Seinfeld, my fav sitcom..in fact i used to tape the episodes on VHS when i was young...i also bought their boxset when i started working. Anthony's laughs are sooo contagious...U got a new subscriber.
Oh man can't wait for the cigar store Indian episode
HEY JERRY!!!
11:42 That’s the way it was with all shows because it happened for everyone at the same time and it was on over the air channels so no one had to pay for it.
That was why television was arguably a more meaningful experience before streaming. Literally everything was a shared communal event.
The Switch is my favorite episode. It really shows off the personalities of all the characters. Plus we get the BIG reveal. 😮😅
Wish you guys would do like 3-4 episodes per reaction. These ten minute deals are just a tease lol
I saw y’all at Costco a few months ago, I thought it was y’all but I couldn’t find y’all’s channel for the life of me. I finally found it, small world
That’s always Gorge! Always finding a way to F things up.
"The Glasses" and "The Rye" have some classic scenes that still get me laughing after seeing them dozens of times. Casey needs to meet Frank Costanza 😅 He's in fine form in "The Rye".
Haha they have the puffy shirt on display at the national comedy museum in New York, I spent all of July up there after the Centerpoint shit show when Beryl hit. Need to go back and not get sick next time.
There was nobody doing stuff like this when this was made, ground breaking and ahead of it's time. Still holds up today and always will
HOOK 'EM 🤘 from East Texas
Awesome reaction! Absolutely looking forward to The Puffy Shirt!!!!!
PLEASE, PLEASE watch “The Comeback”!!!!
I think it’s brilliant to have KC’s face be the thumbnail. Nice smile! 😉
Can I just say, great idea for choosing this show for Kaycee as a viewing reaction. Perfect!
At the end they keep making more good points on why they should watch every episode in order.
"Three plantains oughta do it."
The Fusilli Jerry
You literally could have had Kacees face on screen during this whole reaction.
The actress who played George’s girlfriend was in The Kominsky Method.
Glad to see y'all reacting to the greatest sitcom of all time lolz This episode goes to show you why you should never remain friends with your exes...
great ep it still so good over 3 decades later
You’re so right that this show was edgy for the time. It influenced literally everything that came after it. Also right about the change in TV culture from then to now. The one thing I remember watching that it felt like everyone else was watching at the same time was The Last Dance at the start of the pandemic when we were all locked inside. It felt like everyone was watching that at the same time.
The Abstinence please!!!!! Best episode ever! Also the note!!
I never watched the show so this is the first time I realized Dr. Cuddy was in Seinfeld.
I have like a nine hundred movie collection and I started with seinfeld when I was thirteen.Such a great show. You guys are awesome
LOST was a really big one of those type of shows too. everyone was talking about it after.
we used to be able to talk about this kind of stuff with your work mates without having to be sent to a meeting with HR. wether it was better then or now is up for debate.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, "The Betrayal" otherwise known as 'the backwards' episode. I'm sure you'll get to it. "The Soup Nazi" and "The Chicken Roaster" is especially high on my list of best episodes.
"It moved" 🤣🤣
There is a Facebook GIF of George raising his glass at the restaurant
Watch "The Glasses".
I'm too young to have seen Seinfeld as it aired, but old enough to have seen Breaking Bad as it aired...so yes, it makes absolute perfect sense that people would talk about a show the next day at work, that's what we did for 2 years with BB haha. Ahh the good old days haha Seinfeld is GOAT'd for sure. The greatest sitcom of all time :)
I'm absolutely loving these Seinfeld and South Park reactions! Hilarious!
that's where they came up with "watercooler show"
Water-cooler discussions! Must see TV!
now you need to see "the deal" which is in season 2, back half of the season. jerry and elaine and the friendship
4:56 Omg, that's Cuddy from House!
I had the exact same reaction! 🤣
Finally y’all watching an episode that I picked out 😊
Mango is always the answer
I think the last network show that everyone talked about at work the next morning was "24".
I was not expecting this one... 😮 It moved! 😂
Next time watch "The Lookalike" and of course, "The Soup Nazi"
The Hamptons please!!
"I WAS IN THE POOL"
React to "the wakeup call" - The episode where Jerry has to wake somebody up for his marathon because the runner missed his previous race because he slept through his alarm clock
Long live the mango
Love it! Keep 'em coming!
The Office was one that everyone talked about too
Yeah, in regard to everyone talking about a TV show the next day, that's how Game of Thrones was around my office. Reactions to the episode, theory-crafting. It was a lot of fun.
There are too many, we're likely forgetting several.
What about The Busboy? The Raincoats, Episodes with a certain baseball team (The Doodle), episodes with Puddy (The Devils!) and the car dealership, episodes with Mr Peterman (Bosco). The Puerto Rican Day, Festivus for the Rest of Us! The Mackinaw Peaches.
The Library with Mr Bookman. He's the Lane Beachley of... I don't want to spoil it at all. The Margaret Court of book...
You two are a gorgeous couple. Thanks for the fun reaction.
Lol your laugh is hilarious 😂
Best sitcom ever ❤
I remember talking about episodes the next day at school it’s true we don’t get that as much anymore
I hope you do my 2 fav episodes
The Rye & The Gum
You guys gotta watch It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
OMG! I love you two and your laughs. Really lifts my spirits seeing you both react to one of my favourite shows. ❤️🇦🇺
Later you have to watch the episode about "The Move"!
Funny you mentioned people talking about yesterday's episode at work. Some men were let go because some women felt uncomfortable hearing that. We all had to go through some harassment training. As you said, that was shift in culture and eye opening experience.
the biggest cultural phenomenon since game of thrones is succession imo
Have you already done The Hamptons episode?
That's in my top 5 favorite episodes.
The pilot
Kacee needs to watch the Yada Yada episode soon 🥰
She needs to see “The Fire” episode
The Seinfeld tv show talks about orgasms without actually saying orgasms ... thats what makes this episode so funny
Again, I highly recommend getting the DVD set. It has tons if extra content, including interviews with cast & crew; most importantly, Larry David.
After seeing this, I am going to buy some.mango.😂
Your spot on about how entertainment is so spread out now that there are far fewer shows that take on a prominent pop culture position. Back when there were three networks shows like All in The Family used to be talked about at work all the time. MASH, Cheers, ER, Friends, they all had a place in conversation. The Simpsons and Family guy then South Park all kind of horrified parents in their turn. Sopranos though really was the Game of Thrones of its day. Every Sunday you made sure to catch it, invited friends over to watch, bars had watch nights, then everybody talked about who got whacked the next day at work. Sopranos. Still a good watch today.
This show started the water cooler show term. Where people would gather around the water cooler and discuss what they watched the night before. This is a reference to another episode. Waiting for the next seinfeld, simpsons or friends episodes. Or whatever you where in to. Yes we have streaming now but the antisipation was the best part of the week. Coming home to your fav shows. I was still in high school at the time so had nothing better to do than come home and watch some of the best TV shows of all time. I also loved the x-files. My fav drama show of the 90s. Going to the video store to rent a movie was an outing too. But good new movies where always out of stock. Just to see what was on at the cinema we had to check the newspaper. If you did not have one delivered then you had to go buy one from the local shops. Different times back then. No better or worse just different. Also, you appreciate music more as you had to physically go to the shops and spend your hard earned money. You can still buy CDs but whom does that now and records where not very popular in the 90s. Cds had taken over completely. Not sure why they came back in to popularity and are so expensive these days. People by records without even listening to them. They say everthing goes in cycles. I am hoping rock music comes back as that was one of the best parts of living in the 90s. Such a cool decade to be a teen.
100% 80s / 90s kid life was pretty damn great. signed, this 40 yo. lol
Heck yeah!!!!! This is one of my favorites!!!
Great reactions ❤
