I also worked in the Make-a-basket shop at the Homestead and met so many cool people from all over the world. I actually got to help a blind lady make her own. She was elated.

Gina, I have quite a collection, many from thrift stores. I can spot one at 100 yards and make a beeline! I also have several pieces of pottery.
That picture, with the dark background and golden frame, make me feel like I’m in a museum room. I would pull up a stool and sit there in stillness. Beautifully done!

Gabriella Balagna yes! I keep a spare jar in my cellar and when I empty one in the pantry, I bring up the full one and set the empty to the side as a reminder I need to restock. I need to plan well ahead because I only go to town once a month or even every two months. All I have to do is look at the empties to know what needs to go on the list. It has helped me keep better track and I don't forget things as much.😊❤️

Perfect place for a "still life" right above the shinny copper pots and pans....nice paint choice too....love the countertops and flooring....If that was my pantry I'd be spending so much time in there soaking up the ambiance....it came out so beautiful!!!...

The color is beautiful! The copper pots hanging is such a visual delight and draws you into the pantry. I miss having a large pantry so useful and needed for storage. My large house has a very small pantry doesn't work.

Looks very Paige inspired, doesn’t it? I’m having a hard time imagining my dream butler’s pantry any other color 😆 I actually toured this old sea captains house in Salem MA a few years ago, and I’m pretty sure the gorgeous butler’s pantry was painted a similar color.
My sister's old house in Pennsylvania had this same color in the Butler's pantry!
It looks as if it’s been there forever! I love everything about it especially putting the picture in there. It looks like an oil painting!
The shallow pans might be really cute for serving dishes.
Beautiful ! The peach picture is perfect for a pantry! The copper pots are round and more round in the form of plates would be too much- in my humble opinion. The picture and frame adds just enough extra color and just a beautiful surprise (a special beyond function fun).

Very very nice. There is nothing more fun than the style of old houses. My grandma lived in an old house and had a large pantry.....a metal kitchen sink......a claw foot bathtub and a corner bathroom sinkY. I was only 10 and under, but I loved it even then. Nobody can afford that kind of style in modern new houses these days. Thanks for being joy into my modern apartment life these days. I’m glad for my apartment, but miss a quaint style that is cozy and comfortable. Great pantry! You guys did it!
I think some lighting would really add so much to the space. It would brighten up the paint so that you could really see it in it's true form At first I was thinking that white paint to match your other cabinets would be better, but now I am thinking it is the lighting. I think some white plates rather than the dark print of the peach would also suit the space. You did an amazing job with a very difficult space. There is nothing like a walk in pantry to make a kitchen more functional.
That color is gorgeous! You hit a home run in every decision. I think its the perfect pantry. Everything you need, and nothing that you don't need. Just yummy!

I love the cabinet color and latches! The latches look like my grandfather's kitchen cabinets, and I have the love for green and blue, so this is perfect! Now, convincing hubby we should paint the oak cabinets!
Love the country vibe in the pantry. The copper pops as soon as you see the pantry, tied in with the shelf brackets.. definitely a wow pop!
And YES! totally agree on the reasoning for splurging and upgrading the broom n dust pan. I finally got my bathroom all Decluttered and been downsizing more and more over the past year (using items up, letting items finally go, and realizing we just don't Need this or that).. so now that the bathroom is 'officially' done, I decided to buy some nice matching wicker baskets (that can also be used anywhere in the house), for our bathroom cabinets. I have been using the same nice dollar tree bins n containers for the past 5 years (they will be going to the kids bathrooms since their still in good condition)... But yes, I agree, if you know you don't plan to change things. And know you WILL be using it for a longer period of time, why not splurge a little and buy something to make u love it even more.
That pantry color is so perfect. So authentic to the era. Plus I absolutely 💕 love your peach portrait in there! It is so appealing. Please keep!

Peaches print looks really good. The copper pots on their rack with the framed print make a great grouping. Peaches mirror the round shapes and color of the pots, and the rectangular shape of the frame mirrors the angle of the shelf above. You have a very good eye! Only thing I would consider changing is to have a dark garbage can, maybe painted the same color as the cabinets, so it visually disappears.
The pantry is gorgeous. I LOVE the picture over the copper pots. It was one of the first things I noticed. I love the depth and color it brings. You guys are AWESOME! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

The pantry is beautiful! Old houses with two stairways always fascinated me, My parents were born an raised in Lancaster co Pa. and a lot of those old houses have or had two staircases, I was told the back staircase was for the hired help .

We were also very blessed to build our home from almost scratch... including a walk in pantry much like yours... we put in a Sliding Door which slides into the wall and it looks like there isn't even a door...but we can slide it closed if we need to... Have lived here for 7 years... have closed that pantry door TWICE in that time! Lol! Yup, you don't need a door! I never use mine!
Love it Lisa! All of it, it looks way bigger - I think its the shallower shelves up top widen up the space. The tiles were one of the first things I appreciated, funny that they were an incidental choice

Beautiful! No door necessary. I bought unfinished "wall cabinets" at home depot and used them as base cabinets for my pantry. Cheap and shallow. I'd have kept the doors off the shelves ... wallpaper the back, paint. I love canned goods being visible. Lol. I'm sure that's not popular. :)
Beautiful looking pantry,I love the colour, it's nice that you added art to the space, so many people don't have any art or flowers and the space seems flat and they don't know why.
The shallow cabinets are great for a pantry. When you have deep cabinets it get difficult to find things and after awhile things start to get disorganized. How you have it makes things easy to be taken out and put back. I’m planning to do the same for my pantry. It looks as if you have space over head. Maybe hanging a DIY wooden rack to dry herbs? Just an idea? It really looks lovely and the color really works against the kitchen. 👏🏻 Great job!

I love your pantry! I actually love the old black and white tile, but I do like the new tiles as well. I grew up in a house built in 1903 and the "modern" pantry in the kitchen was built over the door that led to the cellar stairway.
I love the color in the pantry too, I immediately thought blue/green not just green and not just blue lol. I love how everything has turned out. What a lot of work but a great job!!!!

Been collecting them for 30 years! My old ones look as great as the newer ones. Sad they went out of business ( or the original owners )
How I want an open pantry. My kitchen has the cabinet pantry unit and it is a wasted space! You don’t see things in the back, etc.... It was the IN THING back in the early 70’s when my Parents built the kitchen . Beautiful...but not practical unfortunately!

you could use the shallow copper pans to season spices (warming up, making a mix), sear fish and make a shallow lemon butter sauce in it/or coconut with basil, or....Pilaf!!
That pantry is absolutely lovely!!! The color is luscious, the design is spot on and the copper pots steal the show. I have one tiny suggestion. The large white garbage can at the front is like a set of blaring headlights!!! Maybe replace it with something a little calmer with maybe even a little copper trim to mimic the beautiful pots. Great job. Great video!!!

Ours is a little bigger, but empty at the moment, apart from a few temporary plywood shelves. I can't wait to add some charm and function by turning the potential storage space into real 'form and function'!

This pantry remodel is absolutely beautiful and an inspiration for others. A couple things that bothered me, though. The dustpan hangs at an awkward angle. Cut off the twine loop, and hang it by the handle, and done. Also, you could hang your apron on one of the wood hooks, and it wouldn't block the view of your lovely cabinetry. I suggest that you paint the trash can, either black, like your hardware, or maybe even a copper metallic paint. Great finishing touch.
