Wrong, Cloud went through the same process like SOLDIER plus the addition of Sephiroth cells added to him. He carries Sephiroths legacy in him. How does he inherit Zacks abilities? Nothing in canon has ever said that. Plus isn’t Zack the one that copies limit breaks?
Crisis core added new canon lore. S-cells and G-cells. Cloud carries the last pure S-cells in him, plus the addition of jenova cells. Zack was done the same, but his S-cells are not as pure as clouds. Catch up my guy.
People say that Zack revived and now Cloud no longer has the memory of Zack, but we see that Zack crosses paths with Aerith and then enters the church where he finds people sick, but clearly there are two realities, one where the people celebrate and another where people suffer in which Zack survives. In other words, a reality where Avalacha is used to kill the inhabitants of Midgar and another in which Avalanche saves people.

@@toronto3110 unless the PC version fixes the low quality environmental textures in the less important portions of the game I'm afraid not much better :(
Craziest part is pretty much all scenes are pure game footage and not CGI cut-scenes like some other games still do today. At first I thought they would also do this to have even more detailed big scenes like Sephiroth's Meteor here, but you can see their equipment and the materia in it just like during normal gameplay, so its just a normal scene, not a per-rendered one. (unlike the opening of Final Fantasy XV where Noctis leaving is pre-rendered and it was totally not necessary considering how good the game itself looks)
Sephiroth was difficult on hard mode don't get me wrong. But he was far from the hardest boss. This video was not hard mode I can assure you. It looks like easy mode. Hard mode damage takes thousands of HP away. Not a few hundred.
@@Blue-bi3pz On hard mode the hardest boss for me was not hell house. He was actually easier for me. The hardest boss for me was that first boss in Chapter 11. That stinking Ghoul boss was annoying as bleeping bleep bleep. He keeps changing forms and you have to run around the desks and such. It would be a lot easier with Barrett on this boss plus the last boss in the chapter as well. The guy can kill you easily before you get to him on hard mode. You are stuck with two close range fighters. Cloud is too slow to get to him before he ports. Tifa is quick but gets too damaged. And Aeriths weapon attacks are useless. And you better time the flame spell or you are screwed as you run out of MP. Fighting the summon bosses in Ch 17 is also hard. But they aren't required bosses so I'm not including them. Another true pain in the bleep boss is the motor boss in Ch. 18 you fight just before you enter the dimensional portal leading to Sephiroth. The controls on this fight are awful on easy mode. And on hard mode he fires trillions of lightning AOE attacks at you. Your no good companions don't bother healing you. You get wiped almost immediately if you don't slow down enough and I swear I push the brake button when he does his flame attack yet he still gets me with it. The Jenova boss on hard mode is also a challenge as is that stinking Arsenal boss you fight right before you leave Shinra HQ. I swear Aerith has a death wish in that fight! She keeps running out from cover to get shot! So frustrating!! The first boss Scorpion is way harder in this remake than in the original. The easiest boss by far on hard mode is the Reno rude combo in Ch 11 when the plate falls. Just do Tifa's Chi Trap over and over and they can't move!! She takes out like 95% of their HP. Give her both luck up materials and go to town on them.
This game is a masterpiece in my eyes. They made these characters so likable. Not that they weren't. But the added so much depth to the characters in the remake. All hail Queen Tifa Lockhart.
I'm willing to bet this is the same Sephiroth from Advent Children. Do you see the look of dismay on his face when Cloud rejects the offer to join him? He's tried this before in the original when asking Cloud to hand him the Black Materia via Jenova's control and it worked. The fact that he tried it here and Cloud resisted probably showed Sephiroth that while fate has been unchained, things still aren't looking good for his chances to rewrite his eventual downfall. Besides, why would Sephiroth be directly opposing fate if he wasn't aware of the past already? I'm almost sure my man is back from the future.
It was confirmed long ago this is the one from Advent Children. Sephiroth was disappointed because he genuinely tried to reach out to Cloud instead of just hijacking his mind. In the Japanese version, Sephiroth's change is more notable due to his speech mannerisms, mainly that he refers to himself using ore instead of watashi. Ore is a formal version used by men when talking about themselves while watashi is gender neutral, typically used by villains who think they're transcendent. Sephiroth used the former from before his descent to madness and had been using the latter ever since...up until now
I wonder if when Sephiroth says that Cloud only has 7 seconds to decide, is that because that’s how long the limit meter took to load in the original for his Omnislash
Oh wow, I always wondered if one of them was going to become self aware of the bigger picture. If you don't know, Final Fantasy's Cloud and Sephiroth are like... They just go around being reborn into different universes and have it out on opposing sides. Always under different names but always the same outcome. For example the lore kind of hints that in our universe they were two feuding samurai. At the last Moment Sephiroth kind of realized what was going on and at least half heartedly tried to put an end to it. (Maybe you can try it again in the next universe where you DON'T kill his mom, dude.) They are absolutely ancient and doomed to do the same dance over and over.
The depth of potential is unimaginable at this stage. It's thrilling knowing they could spin this in so many directions and you still have no idea wtf is coming next ;D
@@skyward_rebel New doesnt always mean authentic or better. Sure, Tifa is hot, sure the graphics are good. But the plot holes are shitty, the story is garbage, and inconsistencies with the story. Plus, why is Sephiroth showing up so early in the game? Why are they flying around jumping 600 ft into the air fighting like they're lvl 99? Why are they fighting like powers from the Advent Children era? "new experiences" doesnt cut it, this is pure trash. The original FF7 started out grounded in reality and normalcy, and the main characters progressively got more super powers as the story reached toward the end. Final Fantasy XV is by far the worst $80 I spent in my life.
I think during the last moment of cloud's natural lifespan ending of old age, and the last person with a true hatred and traumatization by Sephiroth with sephiroth cells dying, Sephiroth inside of the lifestream was in danger of completely disappearing. Only way for Sephiroth to win was to go back in time and take either cloud as a vessel. or perhaps that is why Zack is alive.
I think that the vision of zack being alive is because (which is my theory) Cloud has yet to truly accept destiny but that part of him (which was caught into the lifestream) refuse to deny it. Thats why we saw Zack and others alive, but in the end, Cloud would have to accept that it was their destiny to die and move on. Afterall, Cloud is his (Zack) "Living Legacy" (and this is assuming that they will stick with that same theme from crisis core and make some references to it beyond Zack like the other first class soldiers, etc). I can see Cloud having a meltdown when coming to realization of who he really is, etc., (which I can imagine being in part 3 of the game)
Can't wait for the part 2. Quite excited, I wonder what fate we would have, would we be able to save Aerith? Will one of the members in the Avalanche die? I want to know what would happen now since we are now on a different timeline and in a different path, but first I need a PS5 XD

He was physically strong enough; it was more the mental strength, willpower and sense of self that he lacked (to begin with).
@@metal-rpg8306 you got that totally wrong. Jenova cells.. and he failed to make any more than guard class. Fact check me. Play the original game.
Crisis core added new canon lore. S-cells and G-cells. Cloud carries the last pure S-cells in him, plus the addition of jenova cells. Zack was done the same, but his S-cells are not as pure as clouds. Catch up my guy.
Cloud: He is though!
Aerith: So what? Screw him!
Sephiroth: Beg for forgiveness!
If they make Zack playable in the future along with cloud can you imagine double omnislash
Fuggin eh!
Would be triple omnislash. there would be 2 clouds and 1 Zack because the Cloud from Zack’s timeline survived.
@@Kidsstorytime4722 🤯

5:37 - Cloud: "I bet you're enjoying this, aren't you"
I can see a difference in the textures on the battlestage, specifically the ones on the floor, they look more detailed and high res
Aerith: Did you miss me?
Cloud: Not really...

the way this guy gave cloud regen 4 times in a row when he really needed heals hurt me
I think regen has a shorter cast time than the cure spells and still will give close to 800 hp when it lands, so that's probably why. Could be a mistake but I've cast regen instead at times for this reason.
I know! I was like, 'STOP IT!!' Just give him a Curaga!!
He missed some easy staggers aswell. Made me wanna cry 😅

I love SE move. One team developing Remake like this, while it's retelling but not quite as close as the OG, not ignoring all the compilation storylines, but shatters the timeline into unknown conflict. I think this is GENIUS move from SE.
Other team advancing the main series to FFXVI and beyond.
FFVII is the legend, story, music, character, gameplay, it's what very unique and precious artform that Nomura can give. The guy just gets it, total respect he never lost touch of it after all these years.
After Dirge of Cerberus, I always want to see what's beyond that, Cloud vs. That red saber woman from Sviet, how that would be in gameplay. This remake is the portal to bring those back.

10:40 this part is one of my fave scenes. Especially now it looks so fucking good with this version of the game!!!

I went through hell to beat Sephiroth on hard mode, I guess I’m totally gonna go through hell to do it all over again with 60 FPS this time!
Sephiroth was difficult on hard mode don't get me wrong.
But he was far from the hardest boss.
This video was not hard mode I can assure you. It looks like easy mode. Hard mode damage takes thousands of HP away. Not a few hundred.
@@DS94everXev who was the hardest boss for you?
Sephiroth was super easy on hard mode, what are you talking about? Sephiroth was hard my first play through on normal. 😀 Im so confused..
@@xrosesc uh huh
This game is a masterpiece in my eyes. They made these characters so likable. Not that they weren't. But the added so much depth to the characters in the remake. All hail Queen Tifa Lockhart.
Sephiroth: "How many times have we fought, Cloud?"
Cloud: "Hard to say. It's the only memory I have of us since we were in Nibelheim."
The hair looks incredible
Sephiroth used the former from before his descent to madness and had been using the latter ever since...up until now
I'm truly, extremely thankful that the remake came out in 2020 and not in 2007 for example.
Looks like DMC 5 with these graphics I'm liking it 🔥❤️

"But i... will not end" He is so sad... i don't want him to end. Why i don't want him to end?!
12:35 "Nor will I have you end..." Was he talking about his Mother or Cloud?
Oh wow, I always wondered if one of them was going to become self aware of the bigger picture.
If you don't know, Final Fantasy's Cloud and Sephiroth are like... They just go around being reborn into different universes and have it out on opposing sides. Always under different names but always the same outcome. For example the lore kind of hints that in our universe they were two feuding samurai. At the last Moment Sephiroth kind of realized what was going on and at least half heartedly tried to put an end to it. (Maybe you can try it again in the next universe where you DON'T kill his mom, dude.) They are absolutely ancient and doomed to do the same dance over and over.
absolutely beautiful. ive just got a ps5 myself… cant wait to do this!

The most iconic villain in any effing game ever.
This sephiroth is not even breaking a sweat at all... This version seems way more OP.
1:54 when the one winged angels started played means going down
I think during the last moment of cloud's natural lifespan ending of old age, and the last person with a true hatred and traumatization by Sephiroth with sephiroth cells dying, Sephiroth inside of the lifestream was in danger of completely disappearing.
