The one money/credit glitch in Starfield that Bethesda doesn't seem to be able to patch. 🤞 So this is how to sell unregistered ships for full value.
Starfield is an action role-playing game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. The game takes place in a space-themed setting, and is the first new intellectual property developed by Bethesda in 29 years.

Just found out it works using Mouse & Keyboard. Left click on Q (if the ship to sell is to the left) and press Enter at the same time.

This works great on Xbox! I did notice that trying to sell ships at the Stroud space station / shipyard didn’t work. Also to refresh credits at ship vendor, sleep for the max amount of time on Venus - it takes longer for ship vendors to restock their credits.

Don't know if anyone else ran into this one you can pirate the ships that are on the planet as your home ship and switch it out again to your regular ship as for the ones in space you tried to make it into your home ship and it will freeze on you so don't make it your home ship stay on the ship fly it to a ship vendor or your Outpost and switch it back to your regular ship and the glitch still works on Xbox if you push the lb at x together to sell the unregulated ship.

I find it astounding Bethesda went down the road they did with not specialising content dependent on playstyle - effectively the game should have two experiences dependent on player actions within the game.
*_Lawful Player_*
-Legitimate Careers within Law Enforcement/Security jobs - goody two-shoes play through.
*_Criminal Player_*
Underworld jobs, working for the fleet, smuggling etc.
If your karma aligned to either or special perks open up such as being able to seize and lawfully hand over illicit substances or sell stolen ships with no charge.

Works on Xbox as well. Just tried it, took a few attempts to get the buttons hit just right but it did sell it without registering.

It is a little finicky. Sometimes it takes me more than 5 tries to get it. 👍
