- Our exclusive video footage gives you a behind-the-scenes glimpse at last night's Love Never Dies World Premiere - from the early preparations at the Adelphi Theatre where flowers and gifts were arriving by the van load, through to the arrival of the shows invited guests in the evening whilst cast members Ramin Karimloo (The Phantom), Sierra Boggess (Christine) and Summer Strallen (Meg Giry) tell us how they were feeling just hours before the curtain came up...

The year is 1907. It is 10 years after his disappearance from the Paris Opera House and the Phantom has escaped to a new life in New York where he lives amongst the screaming joy rides and freak-shows of Coney Island. In this new electrically-charged world, he has finally found a place for his music to soar. All that is missing is his love - Christine Daaé. Now one of the world’s finest sopranos, Christine is struggling in an ailing marriage to Raoul. So, it is with excitement she accepts an invitation to travel to New York and perform at a renowned opera house. In a final bid to win back her love, the Phantom lures Christine, her husband, and their young son Gustave from Manhattan; to the glittering and glorious world of Coney Island… not knowing what is in store for them…

MY GOD!!!! I love her - Sierra Boggess is just the most beautiful, talented songbird I've heard for a long time. I've watched every clip, every video on every site and am just spellbound. Soppy or what???
I saw it last Thursday and I was such a huge fan of the first one, I worried that it wouldn't live up to my expectations, but I have to say, the whole performance was unbelievable. Both Ramin and Sierra's performances were breathtaking and I'd definitely recommend it!

Saw it! Loved it! Ramin will melt your heart when he sings. You will instantly fall in love with him. Sierra...ah, a lovely voice that will knock your socks off. Go see it if you get a chance, but see Phantom first.

oh man I want to see this cast on stage so bad!! I have the album, and they are so amazing!! But I don't think I will sadly...hopefully when it comes out here I'll see it, but I don't think it's going to be this cast :( they're all so amazing!!! Ramin was made for the Phantom!!

Well, not all of them. Charles Spencer, who writes for the Telegraph I believe, really rather enjoyed it. He said that it was dark but emotional and even if it isn't exactly Mamma Mia, it is still good.
You have to remember that, when it comes to musicals, critics as a generalisation aren't all that complimentary. When Les Miserables came out, it wasn't very well-recieved critically and it is the same with many modern shows currently in the West End (eg Wicked, etc).
@WordsofAfirmation What about Sierra Boggess, Summer Stallan and Joe Millison?! They deserve the votes as well. Let's hear it for the incredible cast of Love Never Dies. :)

I agree. The Australian version just doesn't have the same emotional intensity and chemistry. It's such a shame the West End version wasn't captured . . . . or was it and they just haven't shared it with the world yet? Interesting!

I love the show, but I don't really understand what the weird mask face symbolizes...
I'm hoping to see Love Never Dies on 17th August, I really hope I can! It's such a beautiful score -please take a quick look at me singing Love Never Dies, I'm new to youtube so could really use some feedback please! :) With such a breathtaking score I can't see anyone not completely falling in love with this show and the characters all over again. Bravo!

The Broadway opening has been postponed and I could not be happier.
It's too bad it sucks, I wouldn't have been nervous and excited. You should have been worried.
That isn't correct. The reviews have been very mixed. A majority of critics agree however that the book of LND is the weak part of the show.
Critics hate it!!
