Cricket finally died when shoaib akhter retired in 2011. After 2003 I used to see cricket when Shoaib or Shane warne was bowling. Cricket finally died in 2011.

shoaib was rarely given the new ball, wasim/waqar would always take the first 10 overs, then shoaib would bowl after. if he was opening bowler, he would have taken many more wickets.
Shoaib had bowled many times with new ball. He did in 2003 world cup
@@arslaanpasha3334 he should have been bowling with the new ball in every game, it was rare for him to open, especially when Wasim/waqar were in the squad and/or were the captains. when Wasim retired he started getting a sniff of the new ball.
