He also rarely gives them a freebie even when he needs to 😭 I've watched too many of his videos where whatever build he's doing requires him getting downed but he leads the killer on a 5 gen chase instead because the killer can't get him. Like Ayrun just let the killer hit you so you can do the build lol. He's just too good at dbd.

I honestly disagree that the killers he's playing against don't seem skilled, you can see them go for solid plays and get other survivors downed really fast, Ayrun just knows how to play against the most common good plays because he has so many hours
Saw someone say pair it with for the people. Since you're exposed and Turing yourself into a target anyways you give the aggressive runner the extra health state makes a bit more sense
This is exactly what I've been doing since it was released. As an added bonus, using For The People got me the leave 5 times while broken achievement out of the way. It's nice being able to take a hook stage for a teammate who's likely thinking they're about to be tunnelled out and insta-healing them the second they're unhooked.
14:15 - I was the Lara, wish I knew the plan! It could have been amazing! Unfortunately we were on the clock with one of the survs having opened the gates and left. Then the Mikaela and I got separated and were both injured and the killer did not want to commit to either of us. Sorry we couldn't get the value out of your build Aaron! :P
@@benniegaga2140 I'm not saying _this_ bug is balanced, but bugs can be balanced. For example, the behavior of Knight's guards when a survivor brushes past a window or pallet started as a bug. It was incorporated as a feature with almost no change.
it doesn't even have to be fully charged, and it "uses" a charge. I tried to blink down the stairs vault in midwich, it didn't go, so I tried again and it went but I then couldn't use my second blink
The worst part about perks like this is that they are insanely strong in SWF, but they can't realistically be used in soloq. First you need a killer that tunnels, then you need to be a very good survivor so you can run the killer enough to negate the exposed status effect and then, why would you even take a hook state off a random teammate that will go back down in 10 seconds?
Ive tried it out a bit in a soloQ environment and in a more coordinated swf environment. And yes, The perk is much more difficult to realistically the same value, especially because I was practically bottlenecked into using kindred and making sure everyone knew I was going for the save.
Honestly you're better off running reassurance and leaving the guy on hook if you've got two teammates doing gens even if you are in SWF. Since the killer is going to be proxy camping anyway if he's tunneling. This perk seems like a huge risk for no gain. You get dropped while exposed, you're now on death hook.
There should be a pop up for any people who leave whenever their BOT who takes their place escapes. A pop up that they must acknowledge that says similar to: "You last disconnect resulted in the BOT escaping through the exit." We have such a problem with people giving up that they should know if they played as good as a bot they would've got out. Let's get rid of this Give Up Culture.
The worst case scenario of this perk isn't that you get 75 extra seconds. The worst case scenario (and so far the only one I've seen) is: Survivor goes for save and trades hooked states, proxy camping killer gets exposed down, killer gets tunnel down, killer now has 2 people on death hook and the game is basically over. I've only seen the perk 3 times, but all three times that's what has happened. This is a perk that should only be used by high skill SWF in my opinion, similar to STP Buckle Up in that regard. And if you're on a high skill SWF you really don't need this perk anyway.

Need to see a Co-op/4 player video where all the players have builds dedicated for a purpose, like one for chases, one for generators, one like this to support the ones that get hooked, and whatever build for 4th slot. Maybe another generator one.
Imagine having a full squad with the Shoulder the Burden perk and can trade hook stages strategically. When someone is on death hook, a teammate who hasn’t been hooked yet will take their hook stage. This process repeats, with another unhooked teammate trading places when someone else is on death hook, and so on.

Current build us sprint burst, vigil, StB, then a flex perk. Makes solo q games so much better especially when killer keeps dropping chase or if I use StB to give the main looper more chances to loop
hey ayrun, just here to say that idk if this is a bug or a feature but if you blink at somewhere you wouldn't move at all in blinking as nurse, it cancels the blink, i saw that a few times and it is very consistent and easy to do
I've been running this with the Laura perk that hides screaming so when I unhook I see the killers aura instead of screaming and they don't even know I used StB, it also synergizes with dramaturgy
@@chloex2714 yes, you could also run calm spirit if you don't care about the aura reading, but personally I think that is the more beneficial part of using the Laura perk (can't remember what it's called lol)

In my opinion the perk is a bit like adrenaline, it takes away chances from killers already struggling, but doesn't really affect those who are hard winning. Play Houndmaster or Nemesis or some other medium tier killer fairly, try to tunnel out someone at the end to have a chance and the perk completely fucks you. Tunnel at 5 gens as a nurse or billy, it does literally nothing, if not actively harm the team.
From what Ive experienced if its your second hook thats you’re taking it doesn’t expose you, idk if its intentional but it is nice that it currently is working that way 😂
I actually got (more or less) saved by that perk yesterday. I got hardtunneled and that yui took a hookstage for me, which kept me in the game for longer. The moment I died (on my 4th hook 😂), was the moment the last gen popped. 3 men escape on SoloQ. 🎉 And tbf: the tunnling killer was a Trapper and I brought an event map. So he knew, I could probably track all his traps and also could probably show the team all his traps 😅
Classic perk-value videos, where half of the games the perk isn't even being used, a third of the time the perk is used but doesn't do much for the game and a sixth of the time it actually is useful somehow.
The problem with the perk is that if you are on a gen when someone is hooked for the second time, you need to leave the gen in order to get value from it which hurts soloq a lot.
Getting tunneled by executioner earlier, soloq and thankfully teamate used stb on me and saved me and the match. Its definitely a very useful perk even soloQ.
I am SO glad someone is talking about how dummy good this perk is. I felt like I was going insane listening to people talk about it. It'll be interesting to see how it works out but I honestly think this won't make it through next year without a nerf, it's way too strong IMO.

On the killer side of things it will now incentivize killers to slug instead of hook, something which was already becoming more common recently.
Being exposed for 40 seconds while 1 off your 2nd hook is not broken. If the killer is tunneling, he can still do so to the exact same injured person even if they are now only 1 hook, and nothing will have changed. If anything he gains a free hook.
As much as I hate bully squads I honestly think that 90% of the time it's just a skill check. Versed a 3 man swf who were all running flashback, ds, finesse etc and the solo q man was just a gen jocky. I can say o only got one kill but honestly getting 7 hool stages is pretty damn good. Ppl get way too mad at losing (I used to be one of those ppl)

are you talking about shoulder the burden? it is not guaranteed to benefit anyone. worse case scenario, you get two people on death hook. best case scenario, you trade 1 hook state and get away for free, also saving someone who wouldve died, also giving them extra uses of hook perks like off the record, dead hard, etc. it is quite weak in comparison to invocations if you ignore the downsides.
theres a bug right now with nurse where if you hug a wall kinda your blink will just stop, happened to me a couple of times while trying to get my challenges
Just waiting for it to get nerfed because survivors can never just have a decent perk without killer players crying until it gets nerfed. I played against a streamer the other day who was tunnelling, camping and slugging every match because he was so angry that Shoulder the Burden exists, without even knowing if the survivors were running it.....

are you talking about shoulder the burden? it is not guaranteed to benefit anyone. worse case scenario, you get two people on death hook. best case scenario, you trade 1 hook state and get away for free, also saving someone who wouldve died, also giving them extra uses of hook perks like off the record, dead hard, etc. it is quite weak in comparison to invocations if you ignore the downsides.
theres a bug right now with nurse where if you hug a wall kinda your blink will just stop, happened to me a couple of times while trying to get my challenges

Just waiting for it to get nerfed because survivors can never just have a decent perk without killer players crying until it gets nerfed. I played against a streamer the other day who was tunnelling, camping and slugging every match because he was so angry that Shoulder the Burden exists, without even knowing if the survivors were running it.....
its either a nerf or executioner every other game lol

With this new perk. If you ran with a friend could you or them get deliverance off twice? Since you could reset the hook states right?
They need to fix houndmaster when she grabs you with dog and hits you and exit gate is blocked for 10 seconds

It’s intentional. It’s like with the twins when you get victor off you and the gate blocks for a few seconds.
@ToxicPixie again, to be running to the exit and bit by dog then to be hit but then to be hit a second time ten seconds later and you still the exit is blocked is too much
