- From Florida to California to Hong Kong to Tokyo to Paris, all the Disney parks have one, but this is the first Space Mountain. It's a very dark indoor coaster, so there is a large portion of the video that is dark. However, all the effects are visible.
Check out the other on-ride video we posted to see the differences between the Alpha and Omega sides of the coaster: • Space Mountain (Alpha)...
Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom is located near Orlando in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.

Underrated coaster... This thing is crazy
I've been on this ride three times I absolutely love it
That looks terrifying! And awesome!
I really underestimated this coaster when I first rode it! Great ride and a great POV :)
So well lit!!! Most vids you can’t see anything!!
The other space-shoe drops! (This is the side I've actually ridden.)
Upstop RollerForce back at it again
Just went to WDW a few weeks ago and this was on my MUST list and was the first ride I rode in MK. No regrets!
Awesome recording of a great memory! It's usually impossible to see the stars in these lol
I rode it long time ago that ride is amazing and intense
I was eating a burger. That was awesome.
Amazing quality
Was this a press day or something? I never seen Space Mountain with no lines and Florida is back into the full swing of things.
My favorite ride
this ride is a classic but man is it disorienting lol
Who said space travel would be smooth lol?
@@FrankieWashburn Or most Arrow coasters
How come the music wasn't going?
I heard it, but it wasn't turned up that loud.
Always thought the disembarkation area is the one bit of this that still needs a theming upgrade--the drop ceiling and bowling-alley carpet are kind of unimpressive (even compared to the cool post-show displays that follow). But it's a small blemish on a great ride.
Oh I remember going on this a while back. It’s quite fun
Both sides of this ride are so janky and wild mouse like, rough with some decent theming. I'll take the one at Disneyland any day!
Disneyland’s “Right-turn Mountain” lmfao. That coaster is just a bunch of downward right helixes.
Next you guys should do POVs of Blazing Fury at Dollywood and Fire in the Hole at Silver Dollar City with the camera you used on this. It’s been a long time since you guys put out your Blazing Fury POV.
Sooo Fn Cool!!!!
Very nice video!
What camera did you use to make this? This is by far the best Space Mountain POV that I've seen!!
Wow, what equipment did you use to film this?
Can’t give away all the secrets 😉
@@upstopmedia an unacceptable response. Share the love or prepare for war!
What camera was this filmed on?
Holy fuck the tunnel bit looks wacky. I wish it looked that bright irl.
If only disney coasters were actually good aside from the theming
They're mostly pretty good because of the theming and how it creates a sensory feeling of danger in what are essentially boardwalk coasters. Except Seven Dwarves. That sucks. Tron will be as close as you'll get to an "extreme" coaster from Disney, and that's also pretty sedate. You can't really theme a 200 foot super-coaster the same way you can Thunder Mountain. It's physically and financially prohibitive.
@@e.l.norton What about rock and roller coaster?
@@e.l.norton Wym lol. They literally do that all the time around here. Taron in Phantasialand has Disney level theming, if not better. Universal's velocicoaster also has beautiful theming.
The relative lack of intensity is deliberate--they want these coasters to be enjoyable by families with kids and seniors, so most of the experience is in the theming. They're still beyond the comfort zone of a *lot* of visitors--the rest of my family considers Big Thunder Mountain Railroad almost too intense and I can't coax them onto Space Mountain or Everest at all. (I won't even suggest Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, which is a ride you could actually imagine being a middling entry at a Six Flags or Cedar Fair park, aside from the theming.)
@@MattMcIrvin I know why they do it, but I disagree with it. You can make tame coasters that are still somewhat exciting and high profile.
Leave it to Disney to make an adventure out of what's basically nothing more than a multi-million dollar kiddie ride.
@0:33, Isn't it supposed to come to a stop here?
It only does if there is another train in the block section ahead of it
@@jackknueve4645 Yep exactly.

Don't lookup the lights on version or it'll ruin everything lol
