This is the most accurate video rendition of the experience of Orlando Space Mountain that I've ever seen. And this is HARD to shoot.

Imagine yourself 9 years old. It's 1976, the bicentennial, a country bathed in red, white and blue. A great time to be alive. You're parents save for 2 years to DisneyWorld. The trip was perfect except for one moment...
Space Mountain was what my brother and I talked about for a year. This was it. The sun's setting after a beautiful day at the park. We're in line. All is good. Maybe it was the food, the excitement or just that this is what I'd been living for. I threw up.
We went home with no Space Mountain. 54 years old, my brother still gives me crap for missing this ride.
It owes me. A thousand coaster rides later, this is the one that haunts me. My nemesis. We have a date, and I hope I don't puke this time.
I never went to Disney World as a kid--my first visit was with my own family in 2013. And Space Mountain spited me on that visit, by being broken. At least I got to see the interior with the lights on from the PeopleMover. And I did ride it four years later.
It's a good ride. I don't care what the Disneyland fans say.

I love this ride. As long as you're not sitting in the middle seat of a car you're gonna get great airtime. Front is my personal favorite.

The ride is all fun until when you’re going down the drops and you feel like you’ll hit your head on something 😔
No it’s bad when it suddenly makes a turn in the dark that goes sharply right of left. I got a headache even on the right when my neck was thrown back and forth and it lasted for a few hours after the ride. Though I love it, I don’t think I’ll go on it again.
Also the one in Paris (used to) have inversions and loops, and I remember more planets and stars even than here. However that was in 1996, so not sure if the loops are still there as it has been redone. I should look it up :)
@@fluffy-fluffy5996 The loops are still there--but the interior got rethemed to the Star Wars version. I hope they undo that sometime soon.

This is the scariest and most fun rollercoaster ride I’ve ever experienced in my lifetime! Love Space Mountain! I’ve only ridden the one here in Cali but hope to ride this one someday!😃👍✨
THIS was the scariest!! Have you ever been on expedition Everest at animal kingdom. That rides was a nightmare for me

What is the difference between the alpha and the other one
They are both the same but mirrored.
The helix on beta, I think, is about 10 feet longer for some reason I forgot, but they're mirrored other than the helix.
@@bandmfanboy one is slightly longer by 10 feet just so the rides can clear each other

how do the drops feel on this? I hear they are really small?
The last drop down to the ground really gives you the stomach feeling, it always scares me
