    FOR ALL YOU BEGINNERS THIS IS THE BEST ADVICE EVER... YOU'RE RIGHT VITAMINS ONLY PROVIDE STRENGTH. I HAVE BEEN TRANSITIONING FOR 2 YEARS AND I BOUGHT SO MANY PRODUCTS. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY. AND THAT HERBAL ESSENCE SPITZ SHE MAKES IS THE BOMB IT KEEPS MY HAIR MOISTUREIZED.. SO THANKS GURL!!!! ALL I USE IS THE CONDITIONER, ALOE VERA AND WATER WORKS WONDERS...

    I agree vitamins wont grow your hair, its the quality of hair that grows. However, some people lack nutrients in their diets so when they do take a vitamin supplement it does assist with hair and nail growth. Thanks for the videos, they are very helpful.

    I enjoyed this video. I still consider myself a beginner. I agree with what you said about vitamins. And also I love those inexpensive products too.

    Great Vid!! I love the keep it simple message. I've been on a hair journey seems like forever and still trying to learn what works for me. but your so right to start slow n progress. I never thought I'd be able to strech or give up heat but I have. and now that I'm so used to that I get lazy thinking of flat ironing or relaxing. BTW your hair looks great in this vid!

    Loved this video! I just started out my hair journey. (well been on it for a year) during that time I have built up my hair strength and now I am focused on length. I feel that you can't start of with length first while having thin, brittle, damaged hair. So yeah lol.

    Everything you said is so true you can easily become a PJ ( Product Junkie) you keep it 100 no sugar coating! Thanks for the tips my hair growth is going so well and stretching my relaxer is so easy when I detangle my hair in the shower under the water with conditioner and keep my new growth moisturized with a mix similar to your mix!

    • @prettywitty77
      @prettywitty77  11 лет назад

      Ya know I have to give yall the real so you all don't make the same mistakes I made. lol. Shower detangling w/ conditioner under running water is THE BEST. :)

    I've been on my hair journey for a lil over a year now but i wish i'd seen a video like this back then...then again, i prolly still would have done all the bad stuff cuz i'm hard headed lol. but really, ur right about stretching too soon and buying expensive products etc. That's why i didn't do any videos on it back then because i didn't want people copying my mistakes lol. great video

    How often do you clarify your hair? I know you say that you deep condition every week and protein treatment every month. Is there anything else that you can think of that we should do to get started?

    You should try Trader Joe's conditioners. They're all natural and are CHEAP. One is $3 and the another is $4

    Coconut oil does not seal your hair. It strengthens your hair because it penetrates your hair shaft. Olive oil does the same thing as coconut oil.

    I've been on my journey for exactly 6months and your tips are so helpful thank u...when you relax your hair do you co wash the same week or wait a week I normally wait but I'm not sure if I do it cause it's "necessary" or because I want to keep that fresh relax look a little longer lol

    What if I braid my hair and use wigs, do I still have to moisturize my hair daily? Or can I do it like every 2 days or so?

    • @prettywitty77
      @prettywitty77  10 лет назад

      Romilla Cardoso It depends on your hair and how well it holds moisture. If every 2 days works for you, then its fine.

    Do you consider sitting under a dryer to dry perm rod sets to much heat or direct heat ??? Or are you referring to flat ironing and blow drying your hair as using heat ??

    hey Prettywitty77.....are rollersets consider as a protective style???

    • @prettywitty77
      @prettywitty77  11 лет назад

      I don't think so, hun. Protective styles are styles that have the ends tucked in. I alternate from protective styles to heatless styles.

    • @prettywitty77
      @prettywitty77  10 лет назад

      erica feacher Stretching your relaxer means to stretch the amount of time you go in between your touch ups.

    • @suphanedash985
      @suphanedash985 7 лет назад

      prolonging your relaxer touch up to like 8 to 16

    lol, i needed this because i am a product junkie now! Im just so excited to try new things i guess. I was also addicted to the flat iron almost everyday!!!! I couldnt believe what i was doing to my hair!! I am happy to say that i started a hair journey in September and have only flat ironed my hair 4 times and have not used the blow dryer at allllll. I went to the hair salon to get a cut and relaxer retouch was told my hair was soft and felt really good. Can you see me smiling:-) i am currently stretching at least 10 weeks. Any suggestions on styles for short hair??? Im tired of the wigs and i dont like the short afro look with braid out or twist. THANK YOU PRETTYWITTY77,Istarted my hair journey because of you!!! Ive watched all of your videos and it was like going to school:-)
