    I started my journey sept 30 of this year, I don't relax my hair or put any harsh chemicals in my hair. I think I've been doing good with it but I'm not really for sure. I don't clarify my hair, I co wash. I only co wash when i think my hair needs it, not every week. I made home made moisturizer and I use that everyday alone with spritzing my hair with water and sealing it with extra virgin olive oil. With the protein treatment I have been doing this as needed. So far I've done three since

    I ran across your video I'm trying to get my hair to grow as long as yours it's trying it's almost bra strap length. I just want a good everyday moisturizer I'm kind of scared to try anything new because it makes my hair shed like crazy. I do relax my hair I use dark and lovely or ultra sheen (I think that's the name of it). I hope those are good relaxers. I don't use much heat on my hair if I do I make sure I use a heat protection. I'm trying to find a good shampoo I been using some of everything but I haven't stuck with anything. So I will try some of your hair tips to get my hair that length like yours. Thank you so much for your help.

    Slightly confused with your air dry method and when to apply oils to the hair.
    I understand that u 1. wash the hair and 2. comb out the knots in the shower..
    But Do u then add oils to the wet hair and then leave to air dry
    or
    Do u air dry and then apply the oils the very next day?

    I love your videos. You are extremely helpful and encouraging. I wanted to know if the two gel products you recommended leave your hair hard after you have it in for a while like some other gel products?

    • @prettywitty77
      @prettywitty77  10 лет назад

      The gels are alcohol free so they are not drying and they don't make my hair hard. Now, product build up to bound to happen if you don't keep the hair clean or use too much of the product...so my careful.

    • @prettywitty77
      @prettywitty77  10 лет назад +1

      Ohsnap Osei A lot of people deep condition weekly. I can't recommend how often to protein treat your hair. Too many things factor into it & everyone's hair is not/does not (re)act the same to protein.

    Hello!
    I would like to know how often do you cowash? I don't workout that much so my question is can I still cowash? And if the answer is yes, how often do I cowash? I'm just starting my hair journey this week. I started yesterday actually. I haven't had a relaxer since March of this yr. I'm 13 weeks pregnant. Yes, I have new growth but it's only a tiny bit. I'm thinking about waiting another month or so for a relaxer. I have thin/fine hair. I haven't put heat in my hair since May 5th of this year. I have been wearing protective hair styles. I wanna grow healthy hair. Any tips for me. I wanna have really long hair! Lol

    • @alwaysali329
      @alwaysali329 10 лет назад

      hopefully this is helpful to you :) in her part 1 video she said only co-wash your hair if it needed, if you think its extremely dry and . you only co-wash if needed once out of the week. So you would co-wash on a wed or thursday and then do your deep conditioner on sunday. Hopefully this helps i got this all from her part one video I want to begin my hair journey as well :)

    • @Shome980
      @Shome980 10 лет назад

      Oh ok. Thank you. I'm just starting as well. I started last Wednesday actually. I was thinking about doing a cowash because my hair is actually dry. I mean it sucks up alllll the moisture. I oiled n braided my hair last Thursday and in 3 days my hair felt dry. I still have the braids in my hair now and I'm thinking about taking them out today or tomorrow. This hair journey is gonna be difficult for me because Idk how often to wash, condition, deep condition, ect ect I haven't had an relaxer since the end of March.

    • @alwaysali329
      @alwaysali329 10 лет назад

      oh okay in her video she did say in the beginning of your hair journey not to stretch your relaxer to long the longest should be 8 no more than 10 weeks. In my opinion if you feel you hair is really dry you should do a co wash on wed and then on sunday do your deep conditioner ..you should also wash your hair every week ...with the oil she said you can either put oil on your scalp when its wet during a deep conditioner or after your hair has dried

    • @Shome980
      @Shome980 10 лет назад

      I'm pregnant so I'm not putting no chemicals in my hair right now. So I have to work with my hair right now. I cut my hair back in March I have new growth. I don't plan on relaxing no time soon. I'm doing protective hair style right now. I'm just have a problem with some breakage and dryness. My hair is growing. I should wash my hair more than I normally would like every Wednesday I should do a regular wash and every other Wednesday do a deep conditioner, and do a cowash on the Wednesday that I don't do a regular wash or deep conditioner. I'm just trying to findout what works for my hair when it comes to washing and moisturizing it

    • @alwaysali329
      @alwaysali329 10 лет назад

      Congratulations! and seems like a good idea ..im dealing with broken hair as well and i think my problem is too much heat, its extremely hard for me to stay away from heat but i am going to try and do more protective hair styles
