If you don't have a new boom you can pull out the broken piece put a small hole in the leftover boom in the right place and just push it back in and put screw in. Have new booms coming but even with slightly shorter boom still flies just the same.

Yeah I thought that too, but I wasn't sure if it would still fly properly. TBH just the thought of having to do all this just to put the broken tail boom in, and then to have to do it all over again when the new boom arrives, nah, just going to wait till I get the new tail boom.

What tools do I need to repair this heli?

I need to do mine too. A couple of things occurred to me looking at it. 1st you could probably take the broken bit of the boom out and just put the boom back in, OK it would be a few mm shorter, but still...Obviously I'm not being too serious here, as with the shorter boom it probably wouldn't fly right, and the tail rotor may end up hitting the main blades. Thew other thing that occurred to me, was whether it was necessary to unplug the tail motor from the flight computer, would it be possible to disconnect the tail motor at the tail end, like is it soldered?

@@JJInvertedProduction Well, I don't want to answer for him, but I think he thinks that the servos are the biggest problem on this great heli, because I also looked into it.
And here is another question if it is possible to use the servos from the OMP m1 evo because I think they are more affordable. E.g. in my country they are. Many parts for OMP but nothing for any goosky helis.
And sorry for that but do you think the main blades from m1 evo can be used at S 1 ?
Anyway, great video, thanks for the tutorial.
