      I began with DRONES, then added CARS/TRUCKS/BOATS, then after I mastered those I added HELICOPTERS and finally PLANES. I would not be surprised that after you enjoy the Helicopter you will soon add something else. The hobby is addictive.

      that's a big step up! I wish you well! remember, it's usually not the left or right stuff that wipes you out... it's that darn up and down stuff! when you launch the heli. get altitude quickly and remember, the ground is the enemy! good luck! And welcome to a great community of aviators.

    okay! i admit, I'm a huge fan of Ben Storick. he is finally getting the credit he deserves.
    Goosky smoked them all with the Legend series. the S1 is art. flys like a dream. normal mode is super predictable and stable. the tail hold is unbelievable. stunt 1 is perfect. a lot of authority, yet ultra smooth and predictable. stunt 2 us freaking awesome. overpowered, maybe, but perfect.
    I am picking up an S2 at the post office today! I'm budgeting for the S4 next month. i want to build an S7.
    Thank you, Ben Storick and HeliDirect.
    Thanks to you for a great and very informative video. beginners should try the Goosky. i bet they won't be sorry! It's ready for pros, too. It's a helicopter that won't break you trying to fly a 3D ship. The self-leveling on normal mode will save people money and frustration. The thing is as close to perfect as it can get, apparently.

For such a small heli that thing could do some damage and at fullspeed full send, that thing must be lightning fast!! Ahh Jacques agreed with me. Fun video ! 😃
    I can’t help but remember some of the guys in our old R.C. Club trying to learn how to fly nitro powered helicopters 45 years ago.
    They literally attached a leash to the copter that would only let it rise 3 or so feet so they could learn how to hover without a crash or fly away.🤣
    Anyway,
    Great review Cap !!

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798
      @CAPTAINDRONE798  Месяц назад

      Thank you for the kind comments. Please note that you won’t find very many international RUclips channels that will say the price. This is because over 100 countries see these videos and the price makes no sense to them because if you don’t live in the USA and you then go to the website and look at the price… It will be different than what was said (prices are different for many countries). In addition, there are unfortunately plenty of slightly less intelligent people that just LOVE TO POINT OUT that a video is fake or false because the price said in the video is incorrect from what they discovered when they looked. So as you can see, many RUclipsrs outside the USA no longer say the price in the video… unless of course the item is super inexpensive (way under $100 US).

      Unfortunately in 6G stability no heli on the market will give the same banking as in Acro/Manual/3D mode (the stability mode stops such from occurring).

      Probably but I’ve never bothered to try it. My suggestion would be to bind it turn your RC radio that you’re used to. If your radio runs on OPEN TX then there should be plenty of RUclips videos showing how to set up a helicopter model in any number of popular OPEN TX radios on the market, like RadioMaster or Jumper for example.

  • @TheTruthHz

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798
      @CAPTAINDRONE798  Год назад +2

      As an owner of the OMP M1 and M1 EVO, this heli is more modern & feels way more locked in. The M1 is simply older technolgy.

    • @TheTruthHz
      @TheTruthHz Год назад

      Fair point and good advice. As an owner of a Blade 230S V2 and a Trex 130X I'm currently in the market to replace on or the other. I'm looking at both OMP and GooSky with their comparable offerings. GooSky is edging out the OMP M1 and M2s so now it comes down to size. The S1 field needs are smaller but the S2 is more capable.... decisions, decisions. Thanks for your comment 👍

    I'm getting back into the hobby. my last helicopter was an Align 550L in 2015. I saw the review from Ben Storick and ordered an S1. it arrives on Thursday.
    I didn't know that it came with a charger, and bought a new one also. Oh, well. better to have too many, than too few, right?
    Finally, a battery that is replaced without removing the canopy! yes!
    my first RUclips flight was in 2015. please enjoy. also, sorry about the audio! I never got around to adding music 🎶

      It takes years to become a popular reviewer on RUclips, and that is accomplished by honest reviews. If so many reviewers enjoyed this heli, it is simply because it is indeed an enjoyable heli. If there are items you don’t like about it, that is perfectly fine as videos are not designed to force anyone to LOVE a product for the simple reason products are like ART & the MOVIES… there will always be lovers, neutral and critics.
