Great review and details of this nervous F280 helicopter. I'm a beginner so I would have some difficulty flying it, as I've only flown micro helis! Thank you and good flights!!!
Great video Steve, and Jedi Steve plus Jacques, great flights and test there. By way Steve, you state watch your yellow glove at 11:10 they actually look like luminus bright green to me 🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣
I really like helis. I remember trying to fly them way before drones were even a thing. I bought some kind of electronic stabilization that would keep you from crashing. You could set the low level height and it would not go below that setting. I sure had alot of fun with it. But very expensive. I crashed alot regardless 😂
Hey Steve, Would this heli be much louder than the BlackHawk? I have the blackHawk and it flys excellent and even some mild 3D, inverted but the YXZNRC F280 I would do funnels, pyroflips etc.
Holy Crap Captain!; definitely not for your Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle, Aunties, Kids..........well you get the drift!!!!; also ; over $1,000 AUD so not cheap!; regardless, well done Jedi Steve and Jacques, looked like a lot of fun !!!
Hello Captain Drone. Can you tell me if able to fly in normal mode like the OMP m2 v2 or blade fusion 360 smart? I’m still a beginner pilot. Thank you Captain Drone
Hello Captain and thank you for another great video I have search to see if you have made a video about a new drone from a company called zero zero they have made a drone, which I believe is their second generation drone it’s called Hoverair x1 and I have not found a video with you in it about that drone if you have not made one can you please let me know on what you think of this drone please and thank you.
This heli isn't stable as if it were with H1 correct? I'm currently flying Blade 330s, but looking for heli #2 in RTF version. But don't want a heli like FW450L that flies itself. Thanks in advance!
Your 330s would be small compared to this heli. The 330s has built in stability that can be turned on or off and the F280 is the same. If you can fly the 330s with no stability assistance then you can fly the F280.
The blades will almost always usually break on any heli. The only blades I have seen survive are smaller plastic blades. My only concern with this heli would be spare parts availability all the way from China. If a US distributor picks this up, it might have a chance on the market. Does look like a good attempt and it's always nice to see people pony up and actually take the plunge into designing a new heli. I did not know the company but I think it had already tried a few lower-entry helicopters before. I have to admit at first glance it looks suspiciously like the SAB Goblin Raw 420 but I do see they tried to change it enough to make it a different machine. There is another video online of Kyle Dahl (a legendary pilot on the RC Heli community) flying it with mild 3D. It would be interesting to have someone else fly it a bit harder 3D see what it's capable of. By the way, those 8 minutes flight time will significantly reduce if flown hard 3D. The headspeed sounds insane so I would be curious to know how that FBL unit can handle being a bit more aggressive with it. Finally, although it seems definitely designed to be an out-of-the-box product, in order to compete and appeal to the RC Heli community it needs to have other receiver compatibility. Actually even for other pilots who want to try it, probably most of them use Spektrum and would prefer to keep using their trusted radios. Anyways nice video just my 2c!
This is not something new for this company, they certainly know what they are doing. My guess is next year at this time, most long term heli pilots will own one of their helis.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 No they won't unless parts are readily available in the US. These pilots have access today to offerings from OMP and Goosky who have become very strong players, boh brands progressing from tiny micros all the way to 700's in the last few years. Even their 100mm blade micros are strong and can be flown amazing by top level pilots. So still lacking is what these Chinese helis can do under hard 3D by a top level pilot which is what ends up selling models, attracting pilots to their sponsored pilot roster, and growing the company.
I’m losing interest in fpv because of this just please!! Its day 23, please review the bubito fpv drone, i really wanna still be interested- so for the 23rd time, please review the bubito fpv drone
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 That's the first time I'm hearing about it. Alright. Well, November is usually known for, nevermind, I'll check it out. Good to know. Love the chemistry between Jacque and the Steve’s ❤️❤️ Another great video review CD, thank you 👍👍

Another great review Cap. love those copters. Where is Nelson hiding these days? Well keep them coming Cap.
Nelson moved to the West coast
When purchasing the BNF version, is an sbus receiver included or do I need to buy one?
Great review and very nice helicopters Steve.
Incorporating your buddies is a great way to make your time ⏲️ worth it 👌
😂 sounds super scary, lol I thought my fpv quad was dangerous 🤣
Moin super cool
Könntet ihr vieleicht ein Video von dem F280 machen wie man das Bluetooth benutzt und einstellt?

Very nice Flights, Gents. I Fly a 500 sized 3D quad thats fun , demanding & very challenging. Scary & a great feeling.

What head speeds are these things running ? Sounds insane ...
3 head speeds. In the video they were run on headspeeds 1 & 2

Have you flown this yet Steve?
Yes, I was the first to fly it. The video would have been too long if it was about all 3 of us flying the helis.
Do you think these might be knockoff copies of the SAB RAW family of helicopters? Looks identical.
The company that made this is also the same company that makes the super popular Coast Guard heli and Blackhawk heli
I have a beginner helicopter it's fun to fly you have insane stuff
They look fun
Is the Pink on the Heli like a pastel colour or is it really bright . it's hard to tell.
Bright
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Thanks.

Glad you enjoyed it
wow - Thank you very much! ❤ epic
Always great video can't wait for next one
my final thoughts, awesome heli, great video but you 3 should sing a Shania Twain song as an outro :)
I believe we have a Shania Twain fan on the channel. The Taylor Swift fans are gonna be pissed! 😜
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 that don't impress me much 😋

Super cool
Captain drone , if I purchase a DJI drone, will I have problems with geofencing? Ty
For the non tech savvy
All depends on how close you are to an airport/heli port (small or large)
Can handle a crash you reckon lol... Let's see it then.
😀👋
thats a 450 heli.
tail has a motor ,thats a minus,
very loud , for the size,
my opinion. just some chinese low spec heli
It is pretty much one of the most powerful helis that any of us had seen…. And we see plenty each month. It is made extremely well.
