I've interviewed Jay Vincent 4 times. See the last podcast we did here: highintensitybusiness.com/jay-vincent-high-intensity-training/ (the other 3 are listed on the blog post).
I've interviewed Drew Baye plenty. Just go to my full list and click Ctr+F "Drew Baye": highintensitybusiness.com/podcast-2/

Interesting interview, just the cardio topic is for sure quite debatable in the HIT community.

I think Doug McGuff said that HIIT is more aerobic than so called standard aerobic exercises. Therefore, aerobic exercises such as running or biking are no where nearly as effective or safe as HIIT, and therefore a waste of time, unless one does them for purely enjoyment reasons.

Instead of prescribing “cardio” I tell people they should learn some type of physical skill or learn a sport. So running (not on a treadmill) is a skill, playing basketball is a skill etc etc. Elliptical machine, not a skill and so on. Park far away from the grocery, take the stairs. Do all of that instead of hammering an hour on a recumbent bike at the gym.
