So thankful Dr. Fung has been a profound influencer and a doctor on "MY" team through my weight loss journey. I'm 60 and lost 160 lbs by following him, and others that so generously teach us with interviews like this. I'm off my blood pressure meds, my osteoarthritis pain and asthma are gone and I feel better than I ever have. Thanks for all you do 😊👍
You should thank god instead. If the outcome is positive, you should thank god. But if the outcome is negative blame it on the devil or blame yourself for not taking good care of yourself. God gave you freewill so it's your fault when the outcome is negative. 😂😆🤭🤫
A few months ago, a friend of mine was diagnosed with prostate cancer. During his treatment he was craving chocolate bars and downing them like they were nothing. Thankfully, I already knew this nasty habit of cancer being a sugar grabber and as soon as he mentioned his craving in casual conversation I immediately warned him off them!
@@armfeel123 Yes. He's stayed away from sugar rich food. He's working with his family members renovating an old house at the moment. He keeps relatively active, but he is in his mid-seventies!
Fasting does a lot more than that because it accelerates the immune system and phagocytosis and also makes you more resistant to the damage from chemotherapy! Some benefits of doing occasional extended fasting: High blood pressure is lowered to normal levels very quickly while fasting. Fibrosis/scarring is reversed over time. Fasting increases nitric oxide release. Fasting restores NAD+ to healthy levels. Stomach acid is reduced over time while fasting and can allow for the healing of treatment resistant ulcers, but some patients may need continued acid reducation medication while fasting. Telomeres are lengthened and fasting also increases anti-aging Yamanaka factors. Blood clotting is reduced and blood clots and arterial plaque are reabsorbed into the body. Fasting stimulates phagocytosis, the ingestion of bacteria, plaques and viruses by the immune system. It will also remove any 'foreign material' that is not supposed to be there. Reflexes and short term memory are increased. Fasts from 36-96 h increase metabolic rate due to norepinephrine release! After 72 hours or more fasted, your body recycles up to 1/3 of all immune bodies, rejuvenating your entire immune system. Fasting can help with MS, Depression, BPD, Autism and seizures. Fasting reduces pain and anxiety by stimulating the endocannabinoid system in a similar way to CBD oil. Thymus is regenerated, which suppresses aging and renews the immune system. The thymus also plays a vital role in fighting cancer. Weight loss from daily caloric restriction has 1/4 to 1/3 of the weight lost as lean tissue while many studies show fat loss from 36 h fasts without losing any lean tissue! The hunger hormone ghrelin also lowers with extended fasting and rises from dieting. Blood sugar and insulin are lowered, allowing white blood cells to move more freely throughout the body and do their job. Some viruses activate glycolosis (the release of sugar in the body) and clinically it has been shown that decreasing glucose metabolism in the body weakens the influenza virus. When you move out of MTOR your body shuts down the building blocks of the cell which are used to produce organelles and proteins. This means the mechanisms needed by viruses to replicate are by and large unavailable when you are in a deeply fasted state. What breaks a fast? Anything with protein or carbohydrates in it will break a fast. Most teas and herbs are OK. Most supplements and meds will either break ketosis directly or contain a filler that will. Many meds are dangerous to take while fasting. Does fasting lower testosterone? No, it raises it when the fast is broken by increasing lutenizing hormone. Fasting also increases insulin sensitivity, which helps with muscle building. Fasts of 36-96 will not affect short term female fertility or affect menstrual cycle. They also may increase long term fertility, especially in women with PCOS. The hormone Leptin is an immunomodulator that keeps the body from attacking itself and obesity causes leptin resistance. Fasting very quickly reduces leptin resistance and leptin levels and one day of fasting can cut your leptin levels in half and gets your immune system working properly again! Does the body preferentially prefer glucose as a fuel? No, except for brief periods of very intense exercise, your body mainly burns fats in the form of free fatty acids. Your brain also prefers to burn ketones at a rate of around 2.5 to 1 when they are available in equal quantity to glucose. Fasting stimulates the AMPK complex and activates autophagy. Autophagy (literally self eating) will cause cells to recycle foreign matter such as viruses and kill cancerous and senescent cells Lowering insulin via fasting virtually eliminates chronic inflammation in the body. It increases mitochondrial function and repairs mitichondrial DNA, leading to improved ATP production and oxygen efficiency and thereby making cells better able to fight off infection. Increased mitochondrial function also has the added benefit of increasing your metabolism and cancer prevention! Fasting also releases BDNF and NGF in the blood which stimulates new nerve and brain cell growth. This can help a great deal with diseases like MS, peripheral neuropathy and Alzheimers. In fact, the biochemical regulator of BDNF production is beta-hydroxybutyrate, which is the same ketone the body produces to nourish the brain while fasting. Fasting also increases telomere length, negating some of the effects of aging at a cellular level. When you fast, this stimulates apoptosis in senescent or genetically damaged cells, destroying them. Senescent cells are responsible for many of the effects of aging and are a root cause of the development of cancer. A fasting mimicking diet for 3-5 days in a row also provides many of the same benefits as water fasting. FMD usually has 200-800 calories, under 18 g of protein and extremely low carbs. Exogenous ketones can aid with fasting, making it easier in healthy people and allowing some people with specific issues to fast in spite of them without worrying as much about hypoglycemia. Children, pregnant or nursing women should not fast for periods longer than 16 hours. People with pancreatic tumors or certain forms of hypoglycemia generally cannot fast at all. Type 1 diabetics can also fast but it is more complicated and should be approached with caution as it could lead to ketoacidosis. If you experience extreme symptoms of some kind, especially dizziness or tremors, then simply break the fast and seek advice. TY!! i explain it as any food eaten is like someone stoppjng by your house and illness/disease is like laundry.. you have some on floor in piles, sum washer, dryer, folded piles.. so you eat/someone ring doorbell .. laundry everywhere so put back in baskets you try and keep it separate but not always able, you want to move the wet to dry but you don’t have time to fold and put away dry so leave it out and leave wet in washer .. try n put away other … you get it. .. you have to wait for your company to leave and when they do maybe you have to wash the load again, pull the stuff back out .. finally got back to where you were and ding dong. no way i don’t have time to do anything but shove in closet and it keeps building up. Your body can’t clean up until the guest has left and when they swing back bring a snack. your body stops everything no matter how small.. it wants to clean up but no time

I had a rare form of melanoma which sat near my elbow for several years. Id made enquiries about it but im assuming that because it looked like a blob of firm clear jelly, my skin Dr didnt recognise it. It was only after i felt another cancer on my shoulder, which i recognised it as a BCC as it was tickling me with a kind of bubbling tickily feelng coming from the spot & that encouraged me to speak to another Dr. At that time i asked to have the other unusual blister on my elbow biopsied aswell. Two days later i ended up having an emergency removal of the most dangerous cancer. I was told to have my lymph nodes biopsied among other things. A 3rd Dr explained the brisk level of the rare melanoma was a level 5. I was given a dismal diagnosis. I resigned to the fact that i didnt have long to live & began to organise my affairs. I declined the biopsy on my lymph nodes. I took up drinking an aboriginal sour leaf tea & continued doing what id been doing prior to the diagnosis. All i ate around that time was raw organic vegetables & fruit blended into a thick puree & cooked salmon & water. In hindsight i cant help but wonder if my diet was what kept the cancer at bay? As it had been sitting on my elbow for atleast 3yrs. Oddly enough, i didnt know it at the time but after watching these online videos about sugar & autophogy, i cant help but think this is what saved me. This all took place in 2017.
Dr Jason Fung the coolest doctor in Canada. We need more physicians like him . *Cancer thrives on Sugar , Sugar Addictive's (do your research on addictive's because there's a lot there )* .
It also thrives on fats, salt, fluoride, chlorine, aluminum, synthetic chemicals, synthetic products of all kinds, air pollution, microwaves, stress, negative thoughts and attitudes which makes a disease causing cell pattern to flow continuously thru the blood stream, etc. Only the Gerson Therapy reveals the full truth about Cancer. And the 65California list is accurate as well.

Thanks, saved me a lot of time. I really like Dr. Fung, but this evolution business is nuts and he is presenting it like fact. Put enough moneys in a room typing and you will never get Tolstoy's War and Peace.
Wow!! In India we mostly fast on Tuesdays as reverence to God Hanuman Ji and I never knew it had such good benefits . It’s a very ancient Hindu Tradition to fast .No wonder a Indian Granny lives very long cos they do so many Pujas that they fast a lot . Good now I know their secret of longevity .
@@canhandletruth And imagine the deceit and sheer inhuman AVARICE of people who would set up medical schools to train doctors in the allopathic tradition only, and who would thereby misuse the allopathic model to soak sick people of their money, prolonging their suffering as part of the process, in order to enrich themselves. That's the lowest kind of long-term/slo-mo sadism and victimization imagineable, yet that's what we've (apparently) got.
Exactly 👍 I refused all their bs in 2019 and doing fine . Studied everything I could and asked my doctor for hormone therapy instead , Vitamin D3 test and luckily she didn't refuse me. Not completely clear yet but boy my life has never been better. Took it as a warning sign to make profound changes. It was my fault I ended up like that and now I am working on the correction. Have seen my daughter graduate and just now enjoying my brand new grandchild boy. Life couldn't be better.
This is super interesting...and scary! Esp because so many Dr's aren't on board with getting tests done UNLESS you're already suffering from some disease or ailment. You really have to be the caretaker of your own body.
Brilliant doctor and a wonderful man! Perhaps other doctors could read his books and then offer that nfo to their patients. I will be sure to share with my family members❤
I believe cancer is the bodys last desperate effort of dealing with high blood sugars due to insulin resistance. The insulin resitance round a organ may be so bad that the organ can no longer protect itself from high blood sugars/inflamation. So the body generates cancer cells round the organ to soak up all the glucose as a protective survival measure, other wise inflamation /high blood sugars would destroy the organ. Unfortunaltely the tumour expands uncontrolably. And either destroys the organ or us. But this gives the body extra time to survive. Reverse the insulin resitance so then the cells can start retaking in glucose and get back to normal. Basically the cancer is protecting us against the high blood sugar by soaking it all up. As due to insulin resutance the body can no longer deal with the high ammount of sugars.
PET scans utilize a radioactive glucose tracer to diagnose malignancies. The glucose accumulates at malignant sites do to cancer’s high rate of glucose metabolism. This is what enables these areas to show up on the scan. I’ve tried to explain this to people I have known diagnosed with cancer, but their doctors told them they didn’t need to change their diet in any way and to eat whatever they wanted in attempt to maintain their weight during treatment. Of course, they followed the doctors advise even tho it made no sense. Nutrition was never a factor in the treatment plan.
My mother had cancer twice. Ovarian cancer so she had a hysterectomy and colon cancer so they removed a third of her colon. Her doctors said the same thing you can eat what you want. My mother ate healthy and passed away at age 94. I believe she out lived her 4 doctors that ate what they wanted.
Dr Mark Hyman said it best. You bring your dog to a veterinarian and the FIRST THING the veterinarian ask is "what are you feeding your dog? You go your own doctor and they NEVER ask you what you are eating and sometimes even tell you it doesn't matter what you eat.
It is the GMO food, the chemicalized water, the kemtrailed sprayed air, radiation due to unnecessary !medical procedures, pharmaceutical drugs, pesticides, vitamin deficiency, self abuse with gluttony and GMO beet sugar, artificial sweeteners, sedentary indoor lifestyle, no ground vibration with nature, negative thoughts, etc etc
You stated the doctor gave you a dismal diagnosis and you accepted what this doctor said. I believe attitude has a lot to do with overcoming an illness and healing. If you believe you can be healed you can be. But believing in it is not enough you also have to do the work which includes diet, lifestyle changes. You didn't get sick overnight the healing process will take time.
When I was having chemotherapy the dietitian said I can eat anything because they said when undergoing chemo the patient should not lose weight. So I eat anything I want and after 3 months of chemo the scan showed that chemotherapy was not working on me I lost appetite but minimal I can force myself to eat. Then I underwent radiation after 5 sessions the scan showed radiation did not shrink the tumour it grew bigger and scan showed small spots in my lung and liver. The oncologist said my last option is to participate in trial meds. I did but after 10 days I stopped taking the meds because I lost my appetite that for 3 days I was not hungry and my weight loss was abrupt and I felt very weak and tired. The trial meds is worst than chemo and radiation combined. I did not hear anything from my oncologist since 29 May 2024 I am on my own and my latest blood test showed the inflammation is very high and I am slightly anemic because when the pain attacks I could not sleep. It is very hard to have cancer if you are an ordinary citizen cannot afford a private doctor who will help you ease the pain.
Dr Lustig showed that hfc’s are in nearly all pre made & package food. The number is like 89%. So if it in a box even if you heat it up, or pour out of a bottle it’s full of sugars. Make you food from scratch. (44% of all Americans can not cook at all). And fast, and cut down on pastries, grains, & fruit juices, pasta.
EVERYONE in my family has died of cancer and my grandmother was the only one that was overweight. My mother had two types of cancer and she weighed 89 to 95 lbs her entire 94 years. YES we want to improve our odds but sometimes we just get it.
Most of the time it can be avoided if you eat right (no processed foods, sugars, starches, dairy). We can thrive on a plant based diet. I witnessed a few cases in my family of tumor and cancer getting cured with diet.
@@cjr0704 You are 100 percent correct BUT he was talking obesity as the main cause. My Dad's sister had five kids. Four of them over weigh and one slim and trim. The slim one had his entire stomach removed and half his esophagus because of cancer (and 3 brain tumors). He is still alive 7 later and still slim with no stomach.
@@grazielladeligi1869 I agree, but you can choose vegan, paleo, keto. Whatever your preference. The success in each diet comes from avoiding sugar, starches, dairy, processed carbohydrates.

I find it much easier to adhere to diet and excercise recommendations then quitting smoking. I keep trying and failing. I hate smoking and obviously feel on need it Despite it making feel crappy, I continue
The thing is, you smoke you die, you don't smoke you still die. Might as well do the things that I love or like doing and die than deprive myself of the things that I like or love most and still die, even younger. It's a damn if you do and damn if you don't thing.
A lot of people are eating carnivore ,meat, fish, butter sea salt in water only basically anything comes from hight fat animal ,all u need, been on it since jan this yr ,
I completely undertand the reasoning behind this, however I knew someone who had AML, acute myeloid leukemia, and when I researched whether fasting would be effective, that specific cancer was apparently unresponsive. Its why I didn't suggest fasting. They did not survive the leukemia and now I am regretting not speaking up. Am I wrong?
Fasting is a powerful one key fit all for fighting cancer. But apparently, you will not get this kind of advices from your gp or oncologists. Individuals like you sometimes is unsure and afraid if your advice make it worse for others. That's one reason why we feel reluctant to give advise
We are bullied into silence about cures because everything is about drugs. Speak up, just don't impose your opinions on others. And suggest practical ways to do it because sick people need practical solutions
@@pinschrunner All true. And compare "...bullied into silence about cures because everything is about drugs" with "Do no harm" and "Informed Consent." The suffering produced by prolonged treatment with harsh/destructive modalities and resulting in a high incidence of death in the end anyway, rather than resulting in healing, and the attendant bankruptcy of the patient along the way are all DOING HARM. If in a doctor-patient relationship the doctor is an advocate for the pharmaceutical company whose treatment modality he recommends RATHER than or MORE than for the patient's health and welfare, that relationship ITSELF is DOING HARM because the sick patient is wasting precious energy, time, and money for HEALING whereas the doctor is consuming those resources for the sake of promoting the TREATMENT MODALITY. HEALING vs. TREATMENT MODALITY PROMOTION are NOT the same goal and any equivocation by the doctor in this area is FRAUD and WILLFUL VICTIMIZATION. Caveat Emptor-if you can while desperately ill.
I understand the entire process of cancer .cancer survives on glucose n glutamine .it is metabolic disease of mitochondria 😊.ROS leads to mutations in DNA .ALL CANCERS R SAME .
It’s disappointing that Jason says you can have a little bit of sugar. No, you can’t. If you are addicted to carbohydrates, that’s the worst thing you can eat. It just makes you want to have more and more and more. It is very addictive.
Trying to get a hormone panel done is like pulling teeth almost impossible as far as getting insurance to pay for it the system being unbalanced to what's causing most diseases that we're currently dealing with
The fact that cancer cells crave sugar, is key to how they can be destroyed by Vitamin C, since receptors for Vit C are similar to receptors for sugar. Vitamin C gets depleted by neutralising various toxins; including for example cigarette smoking and metal toxicity. In a nutshell: Diseased states (including cancer) are caused by deficiency and/or toxicity; in unison with excess, patogens and various (chemical, physical & psychological) stressors, resulting in an imbalance of the body's autonomous nervous system's functioning; so that in general metabolism is impaired (including digestion, detoxing, healing and repair). Important also the matter of destruction of the microbiome, which leads to disconnection of communication between cells, and lack of integrity of organs. Isolated from the host organism, cells may start duplicating; this towards ensuring their own survival, while not aware of how their destruction is vital to ensure survival of their host.
Being Sodium deficient, for example impairs the uptake of Vit C... Salt is also needed for stomach acid production towards adequate liberation of nutrients in general; without which immunity is impaired, and early dementia could be facilitated (as is explained by Dr. James DiNicelantonio in THE SALT FIX).
If you have prostate cancer and you fast, because when you come off that fast, your testosterone level raises and that is the soul food for prostate cancer. To survive on ; the cancer drugs they give me ,eliminate testosterone , will fasting change results of medicine?
With skin cancer, not melanoma, does omitting sugar and processed foods help. Is it ok to eat whole organic fruits that are home grown. We eat a lot of veges and some meat and fish.
Worth a try. The whole point is to boost your immune system to fight the cancer. Get vitamin D and C supplement if you could. Take lime/lemon everyday, i like to let my green teas cool down then squeeze a whole lime/lemon into it and drink. Take green teas 3-4 times a day, turmeric and black pepper drink etc Do your research on what vegetables protect you from skin cancer and eat them every day but dont forget other veggies because you need to protect your whole body. Boost your guts bio which increase your sensitivity for immunotherapy in case you take it Exercise a lot every day..etc
Giving up sugar and processed foods will undoubtedly help. Vegetables and fruit whether organic or not are carbohydrates and starches which turn into sugars in your stomach.
My only problem understanding. This is in the countries of Jordan, Saudi Arabia. The Middle East, they consume crazy amount of sugar with sweets but has the lowest cancer rate of anywhere.
So thankful towards Dr. Fung and others, who had been pointing towards fasting as the way towards better health. What would also make much sense, is to humble ourselves by acknowledging the Intelligent Design of a fearfully, wonderfully Created human body, which is self-healing and self-regulatory. When not worshipping God as Creator; it is then that one is given over to wander off into various destructive directions.... So exhausting for example to hear how cancer - including research towards possible cures - had been evolving into a money-making-industry 😥
Damn if you do and damn if you don't. You smoke, you die. You don't smoke, you still die. Might as well do the things I like or love doing than deprive myself and still die. There is no guarantee that you will not have cancer or that you will live longer even if you do all the things/avoid all the things doctors suggest/recommend. Luck plays a big role in life.
How can someone eliminate glutamin in their diet? One month ago I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. I understand and practisce fasting, no sugar, eating bio greens etc but how to reduce glutamine in my diet? Thanks!
Watch Dr Eric Berg he said he conducted a lot of experiments in regarding to this topic. Dr Eric said that green teas and aswagandha can inhibit glutamine and garlic, red algae, flax seeds with cruciferous vegetables can inhibit SCOT
you might eliminate it from the diet but it is omnipresent in the body, and necessary so no point. Dr Seyfried talks about the pulse-press therapy through medication (DON). I don't have access to that medication, so I have no direct grip on the glutamine pathway. Unfortunately. I'll soon find out the consequences.

In nature , without the convinience of outlets you woukd prepare obly one main meal. In the morning break the fast and thats it. It feels so good and the food is far more enjoyable.
Cancer is very complicated. Since we're made from trillions of cells and there is no thing called perfection in nature. We could just get cancer from bad luck, honestly. Now add thousands of other factors, alot of them are not even in our control. Sooner or later we're all getting it. luckily, if you're age 80+ cell division rates have slowed down so much that the cancer will not take you out. But simple organ failure or a other disease will. That being said... keeping your immune system healthy and young is your best bet. Keep inflammation rates as low as humanly possible. Fasting does all of that.
@@grazielladeligi1869 for us being completely responsible for all that, you would need perfect control over all factors. Which we don't have, and never can have. So from the human perspective, there are a lot of bad-luck possibilities.
My reply here is not intended to be unkindly. I also-respectfully-disagree that 'bad luck' is a causative agency for cancer the way, say, getting hit in a random traffic accident is a causative agent for physical injury. Our bodies are not only models of incredibly sophisticated physiological and biochemical design and integration, but they are intelligently self-monitoring and self-adjusting within the limitations of their design. They normally attempt to heal themselves EVERY TIME if all the necessary conditions and resources for such healing are present. Everyone agrees that cancer is 'something gone wrong' and of course if left unchecked it sooner or later destroys the body of which it's a part. It constitutes a CASCADING FAILURE event. Either cancer is PROVOKED by some agency in a way that the self-adjusting routines of the body do not recognize or cannot cope with, or those self-adjusting routines themselves have been compromised in some way so that they fsil to deal with it. There are nutritional or environmental factors necessarily involved in this or else the body's self-adjusting routines WOULD succeed in preventing cancer every time. God only knows exactly what carcinogenic substances and conditions we may be exposed to on a given day, and the time-lag between exposure and manifest cancer can easily obscure the connection-making it SEEM like 'bad luck.' However, physics and chemistry operate on a more reliable and predictable basis than random chance. The real problem is the sheer complexity of daily human interaction with our environment. Where healthcare tends to fail the patient is in the compartmentalization of doctors as specialists who are taught that the body's various systems are NOT an integrated whole-they are, and to a much greater extent than many people realize-and in the general lack of acknowledgement of the sheer marvel of complexity the human machine presents. A 'drug for a symptom' is often a GROSS OVERSIMPLIFICATION and any treatment modality that doesn't recognize/respect and WORK WITH AND ASSIST the body's own integrated functionality is merely throwing (expensive) monkey wrenches into machinery to ameliorate just one piece of a much larger puzzle, and it is INTERFERING with at least some aspects of that machinery's INHERENT AND DESIGNED FUNCTIONALITY to do it. It is DOING COLLATERAL HARM, and it is LIGHT YEARS BETTER to respect the body for what it is and ASSIST it rather than attempt to COMMANDEER it. It is an INTELLIGENT machine in the process of maintaining itself as optimally as possible until it eventually fails. Let's not make it fail sooner through uninformed or unperceptive tampering with its normal and routine functioning. This requires knowledge-often more than we have yet-humility, and top prioritization of the patient's HEALING. Healthcare practitioners whose primary focus is on anything BUT the patient's welfare and healing are varying degrees of misdirected, selfish, fraudulent, and dangerous. Their business must somehow be to serve the PATIENT'S needs ultimately, and not just the practitioner's needs and bottom line. Practices MUST be set up and run to allow for this or they will FAIL the patient. Vulnerable patients who are NOT well-served by practioners are VICTIMS. We all take our own turn going through death, for which sickness serves as a foretaste and reminder to everyone. We need to treat each other as we would like to be treated ourselves, and the operative words here are COMPASSION and SELFLESSNESS.
Initial damage to the mitochondria could quite possibly come down to bad luck. We are exposed to multiple carcinogens these days. Proliferation into a mass is almost certainly not bad luck however. If you are in good metabolic health and your immune system is not surpressed then your killer cells will pick up the cancer before it gets a chance to proliferate.
Cancer cells might have develop from bad luck, but it depends on lifestyle and diet which boost immune to detect abnormal cell and kills it,which prevent it to become cancer tissue, which form tumor
I think every person‘s body is completely different. I’ve tried fasting and it literally killed me. I felt terrible. I felt lethargic. I couldn’t think I had a headache no energy. It was terrible. I feel the best when I eat six meals a day, balanced carbohydrates, and proteins. I can literally leap tall buildings. So, just listen to your own body. It will tell you.
Glad you found your best diet. Fasting does wonders for me, and my energy level is fine. The best things all people can do is avoid franken food, lower sugar intake, and be appreciative of G-d's bounty.
I eat more avocados, drizzle more oil on my salads, eat more healthy nuts like Brazil, macadamia or walnuts. I lost 5 pounds because of fasting, low carb diet and I termitttant fasting….but I didn’t want to lose anymore weight…..so I just added more of these kinds of fats/food. So far I’ve been able to add 2 lbs back. That’s what worked for me. It sounds like you may have a more serious issue than I do. I hope you figured it out!!
So eating protein shut off autophagy yet all of the carnivore doctors tell us to eat only proteins. so how is that working for autophagy when we are all out here getting better and Losing weight?
Who is going to pay for a study regarding how sugar affects or causes cancer? Big pharma? The sugar industry? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣 Do I have to say it? There is no money to be made, and only big profit losses to be had.
Sorry why did my sister in law still die from pancreatic cancer when they found it early. She eat nothing but sips of water and still grew and spread round her body. She described it as a tree trunk growing in her torso.
I lack the physiology and biochemistry knowledge to answer your question specifically, though it seems logical to think that a sick body deprived of all fuel can only consume its own tissues and resources, since they are all that's available. The tree trunk analogy seems rather apt; the cancer is a more rapidly growing tissue in the guise of an interloper, and its growth pattern within the body probably feels inside like the structure of a tree looks-i.e., with roots, a main trunk, and branching limbs. Not a happy picture, but apropos. I'm so sorry for your loss of a sister-in-law; I lost a cousin named Kristin to pancreatic cancer in 2009. At the end her body was gaunt and skeletal, but I was able to be there with her and for her, if only briefly, and with and for her husband and daughter/son-in-law for a while afterward.
Graviola tea (6 cups a day), turmeric (can only be absorbed with fat), no carbs no sugars, fasting, good fats coconut oil, olive oil, butter and low glycemic veggies, no more than 1g per body weigh in kg of protein (weight 65kg, eat no more than 65gr a day), eating only between 12 and 8pm.
Back to the drawing board. That’s an oxymoron. The holocaust was Dresden, Hamburg, Nagasaki, Hiroshima. JEEWS in Russia murdered 60~1,000,000 White Christian’s...
You drs should listen to this and ask Dr. Peter Rogers to come on the podcast because he can explain the mecanism it and you can't. Insulin disregulation isn't the cause, it is the symptom. Excess fat in the diet is the cause the diet.
Fukushima Dai;ichi wrecked nuclear reactor is dumping huge amounts of nuclear radiation contamination into the Pacific Ocean, causing a huge increase in cancer.
Tobacco is less risky now but if somebody smokes in the family your love ones can get cancer because of second hand smoke. We all die someday but we can choose not to bring others with us.
So is this why the only organ that rarely OR hardly never gets cancer is the HEART!!! ??? Our hearts and brain are the last to go as we leave this world through dementias and most all diseases. I mean Brian cancers still stay active when the heart stops. I mean it would be great to go back to living in biblical time so we can live healthy for 100 plus years. The only reason we are not preventing is gluttony! So, keep to your research, and don't forget to cross reference as far back as you can. I pray that the newer generations get to see a new way of living to be just healthy and joyful.
Woman are much more susceptible to getting ALZHEIMERS DISEASES and CVD, ALD, BCD these are much higher in woman' that men so I see thyroid link and I'm not a researcher. So why hasn't anyone and still oncologist don't ever take medical history of woman's thyroid and surgery's when younger seriously. Mine actually told me my hashimoto's thyroiditis and nothing to do with hormones !? After 3 oncologists with no interest in my past history just to shove anastrozole down your throat. I'll keep praying to GOD that there will be hope in our newer generations of doctors and they will guide us in prevention of all diseases. I know VIRUSES have to cause cancers because of INFLAMATION! Our pituitary is the most important and thyroid gland... We need doctor's to be able to recognize this and study these extensively before they say their an endocrinologist and a nephrologist!!!! All respect to this field, but all oncologist better be board certified in the endocrine and exocrine hormones and disease that cause them to malfuntion. Like BFA'S AND PERCHLORATES IN OUR EXTERNAL EVIE MENTAL HAZARDS. NOT just their medical kick backs they get in dinners and certain promotional enticements.
Fasting can help a lot with both issues by stimulating phagocytosis, which is how the body clears these things out! Some benefits of doing occasional extended fasting: High blood pressure is lowered to normal levels very quickly while fasting. Fibrosis/scarring is reversed over time. Fasting increases nitric oxide release. Fasting restores NAD+ to healthy levels. Vitamin D plasma levels are increased as fasting improves metabolic health, and vitamin D in turn increases autophagy. It amazes me how fairly intelligent people talk about evolution as a fact, then base their thoughts off of it. If it is the environment that is causing something it cannot be evolution even if evolution was true. OK micro-evolution happens - small changes within a species, macro-evolution does not and could never happen. When people say evolution they normally mean macro-evolution. Anyway maybe we were designed this way and sugar is a poison that should be banned from our foods.
Agreed, evolution as defined by survival of the fittest-type evolution isn't efficient enough to yield the complexity in the biological world that we see around us. There is a whole additional layer of programming in living organisms that directs changes to the organism in response to environmental pressures. Lots of interesting research is going on in the field. It may turn out to be quantum biology, but no one knows yet.
I don't think, its sugar alone, but minerals in our diet, which are low, or missing, because of our soils. Chromium picolinate is one, people are low on If tends to take the "sweet tooth"
Fruits are ok in moderation if you don’t have cancer, but if you do severely limit your fruit intake until you improve, remember it’s the glucose you’re trying to reduce and cancer loves glucose
I lost a friend in 2018 who thought living on raw organic grapes 🍇 was going to heal her colon cancer....she passed quickly , as if she were being directed to feed it , dispite being taken to a famous west coast cancer hospital ( all the way from the east coast ) not once but twice ....Everyone around her could see her grape 🍇 juice " fast " was not working , but she stuck with it to the end !
when I stopped taking the trial meds I was very weak and tired could hardly stand for about 5 minutes. Though before I was taking the trial meds I was fasting hoping to lose weight slowly but taking the trial meds I lost weight abruptly and my whole body was very weak. I wanted to eat anything to regain my strength but very hard to attain. Then a friend taught me to eat apple celery and pear to cleanse my body plus she gave enzyme tablets I felt a little improvement in my body. Now am still eating apple celery and pear in the morning then after 12noon I can eat my regular food plus some supplements. I regain my appetite and strength slowly doing that diet. My only problem now is that the pain is very intense and I don’t want to be dependent on pain meds am taking 5mg twice a day still pain is terrible. I stop eating rice but I am back to eating rice because I need to be strong but I am planning to stop because rice has high carbo and sugar as well. Really very hard to find food that has no carbs and sugar. I was diagnosed of pancreatic cancer March 2023 but at that time the scan and ultrasound showed it did not spread but after chemotherapy and radiation it grew bigger so I do not want another chemo I just want to manage the pain and maintain a diet that has less carbs and sugar so as not to allow the cancer cells to be happy while I am suffering.
Haven't watched this whole video yet- But if obesity alone caused cancer, sumo wrestlers would have a higher incidence of cancer, but they don't. The likely reason why, is that they flush their livers out with High Intensity Interval Training. (HIIT) To make the body as inhospitable as possible to cancer, best things you can do is to maintain an overall lifestyle of diet and exercise. A Keto diet of low-carbs and low-sugar, stay away from known carcinogens, exercise every day for an hour, even walking, consider HIIT, eat once a day (or twice) within a 6 hour window, then water-fast for 18 hours. Eat healthy fats like salmon and avocados, cruciferous veggies like cabbage and broccoli- Glucose and glutamine are the 2 fuels of fermentation that cancer cells use to produce ATP. Reduction of glucose thru diet and reduction of glutamine starves cancer cells. Read up on Dr Thomas Seyfried. Ok, back to the video!
I am vegetarian (asian indian) & in early 60s. I have been on IF for >23 yrs (14-18/10-6). I am also D2M. A1c~6 to 6.2 all these years with only diet & excercise. I eat fruits, veggies, lentils, legumes, some yogurt, some cheese, lots of nuts, recently started taking 2.5 gms of fish oil capsules/day, 3-5 eggs/week. My numbers: BP-110/70, Trigly-47, HDL-57, Apo A1 -137 mg/dL, Apo B-101 mg/dL, small LDL - 330 mmol/L (limit
Forget that sugar/substitutes exist... Only some berries now and then... Nothing carb ... If you have strong motivation it is not hard...Only unprocessed food. Water fast sometimes. Unfortunately not always the family is a positive support... Do what 's the best for your health !
Lots of good info. But the belief in Dawinian evolution may miss direct us. DNA appears to be a carefully designed program. Mutations are errors that cause that program to mal function. So, wouldn't devolution be a better description of what is happening?
I agree. Healthcare science needs to fundamentally reexamine the evidence for life on Earth having been designed. Shared human-animal biological similarites need not be the result of universal common descent but may instead be the result of similarity of design. This is important because it's often easier to hypothesize about the workings of biochemistry if you better understand the nature of organism you're dealing with. I do wish people would drop their usual political commitments in this area and focus purely on the science. Darwinian abiogenesis differs from, say, physics in that as a comprehensive historical-investigative theory Darwinism lies farther from its data than physics or chemistry does; Darwinism is more like forensics or archaeology. For anyone interested, a key concept in all if this is 'irreduceable complexity' and it has been discussed at fair length in publications by William A. Dembski and others.
I really want to know why you quickly switched to another session near the end. You were talking about cancer, and then Dr. Fung is in another room and you're both talking about diets and weight. What the hell? I saw this already, as well. You spliced in another, different session. Is this because you guys began to talk about using diet and fasting as treatment for cancer and then the FDA and NCI and ACA threatened to kill your children? This session was ruined for me by your obvious cuts.

Dr. Jason Fung and Dr. Thomas Seyfried are beyond Brilliant !! It should be taught in Every Medical/Health book and Institution ✨
"beyond brilliant" a little over the top wouldn't you say?
*They are my two favorite*
So thankful Dr. Fung has been a profound influencer and a doctor on "MY" team through my weight loss journey. I'm 60 and lost 160 lbs by following him, and others that so generously teach us with interviews like this. I'm off my blood pressure meds, my osteoarthritis pain and asthma are gone and I feel better than I ever have. Thanks for all you do 😊👍
Wow!!
So just search his previous videos?
160 lbs?! That's fantastic! Great job!
@@patriciao5239 Thank you!❤️. Check out the current issue of Woman's World Magazine 😁. I'm on the cover! 😲
You should thank god instead. If the outcome is positive, you should thank god. But if the outcome is negative blame it on the devil or blame yourself for not taking good care of yourself. God gave you freewill so it's your fault when the outcome is negative. 😂😆🤭🤫
Everyone should listen to Dr Fung even we have no cancer (yet)
Prevention is better than cure
Interesting concept,
1. eating for hunger
2. eating for pleasure
eliminate eating for pleasure = healthier body with less disease . 🤔
Good advice.
Wow, you're a great friend. Did he actually seem receptive to your advice?
@@armfeel123 Yes. He's stayed away from sugar rich food. He's working with his family members renovating an old house at the moment. He keeps relatively active, but he is in his mid-seventies!

i explain it as any food eaten is like someone stoppjng by your house and illness/disease is like laundry.. you have some on floor in piles, sum washer, dryer, folded piles.. so you eat/someone ring doorbell .. laundry everywhere so put back in baskets you try and keep it separate but not always able, you want to move the wet to dry but you don’t have time to fold and put away dry so leave it out and leave wet in washer .. try n put away other … you get it. .. you have to wait for your company to leave and when they do maybe you have to wash the load again, pull the stuff back out .. finally got back to where you were and ding dong. no way i don’t have time to do anything but shove in closet and it keeps building up.
Your body can’t clean up until the guest has left and when they swing back bring a snack. your body stops everything no matter how small..
it wants to clean up but no time
I need to listen to this at least five times, and then again. (I’m not a medical person)
It is so important.
Thank you, both of you.
Such a privilege to hear such exciting information.

I'm recording it for my mp3 player to use on my daily walks.

Thanks. You put a lot of time into this.

Thanks, saved me a lot of time. I really like Dr. Fung, but this evolution business is nuts and he is presenting it like fact. Put enough moneys in a room typing and you will never get Tolstoy's War and Peace.
Can 66year old can do fast if he is in stage gallcancer... If so, how many days n wat to do
Dr. fung explains all of this very well. I listen to a lot on this
Cancer is a big business, they are still stuck on chemo and radiation-theraphy..

This is super interesting...and scary! Esp because so many Dr's aren't on board with getting tests done UNLESS you're already suffering from some disease or ailment.
You really have to be the caretaker of your own body.
This is sooooo true!
Brilliant doctor and a wonderful man!
Perhaps other doctors could read his books and then offer that nfo to their patients.
I will be sure to share with my family members❤
Absolutely agree with you
I believe cancer is the bodys last desperate effort of dealing with high blood sugars due to insulin resistance.
It's criminal!

Thanks to bring that many crucial information with your great interviews Dhru Purohit
Try fasting . Many videos on utube . Starve cancer . Fasting helps kill cancer and heals inflammation
Nutrition education MUST be added to the school curriculum ...this will educate kids to eat right and prevent diseases later in life.
Dr Lustig showed that hfc’s are in nearly all pre made & package food. The number is like 89%. So if it in a box even if you heat it up, or pour out of a bottle it’s full of sugars. Plus a species appropriate diet.
EVERYONE in my family has died of cancer and my grandmother was the only one that was overweight. My mother had two types of cancer and she weighed 89 to 95 lbs her entire 94 years. YES we want to improve our odds but sometimes we just get it.
Weight is not the total key. Processed vs nonprocessed plays a huge role.

Have you ever considered acupuncture? St Johns wort in the morning? Nicotine patches? Together, they can be successful. NOT medical advice.

Can you have Dr Fung on and ask him what he eats in a day? That would be interesting. 😊
A lot of people are eating carnivore ,meat, fish, butter sea salt in water only basically anything comes from hight fat animal ,all u need, been on it since jan this yr ,

Just go to your pastor/priest/minister if you have cancer. They'll (prey) pray over you. Godless us all! 😂😆🤭
Cancers are "real". So it must be treated as such.
Am I wrong?
It is all confusing. Even the experts don't know the answers, especially on an individual basis.
I'm sorry for your loss. Cancer is a cruel disease.
The cure is not interesting for the ones that make soooo much money with the "medications" are nothing but poison!
And compare "...bullied into silence about cures because everything is about drugs" with "Do no harm" and "Informed Consent."
The suffering produced by prolonged treatment with harsh/destructive modalities and resulting in a high incidence of death in the end anyway, rather than resulting in healing, and the attendant bankruptcy of the patient along the way are all DOING HARM.
Don't forget casein!!
In cluding melanoma?
Reactive oxygen species
And what means this ? We must to avoid glutamine ? And sugar also ?
Worburg knew about the sugar and cancer connection in the 1950’s.
1920s actually
Thank you ! You are correct!
Who is Worburg ?
It’s disappointing that Jason says you can have a little bit of sugar. No, you can’t. If you are addicted to carbohydrates, that’s the worst thing you can eat. It just makes you want to have more and more and more. It is very addictive.
Yes it’s like saying you can have just a little heroin every now and then….NO YOU CAN’t.
🇦🇺
A little bit of sugar, for example an apple or some strawberries?
What kind of Vit C, ascorbic?
think their are some without ascorbic.
Being a short woman makes weight control more difficult. We have to eat so much better and gain body mass quicker.😢
If you have prostate cancer and you fast, because when you come off that fast, your testosterone level raises and that is the soul food for prostate cancer. To survive on ; the cancer drugs they give me ,eliminate testosterone , will fasting change results of medicine?
If I had prostate cancer I might look into/research zinc and boron.
That's a good question. Did you ask your doctor?
Please have research on prolonged water fast and prevention and cure for cancer. 3 days to 40 days
when doctors talk about smoking is always vague and i always wonder if they also refer to cannabis smoking.
Take green teas 3-4 times a day, turmeric and black pepper drink etc
Do your research on what vegetables protect you from skin cancer and eat them every day but dont forget other veggies because you need to protect your whole body.
Boost your guts bio which increase your sensitivity for immunotherapy in case you take it
Exercise a lot every day..etc
De
Giving up sugar and processed foods will undoubtedly help.
Vegetables and fruit whether organic or not are carbohydrates and starches which turn into sugars in your stomach.
I know some if not plenty of young people who doesn't smoke, most of them are even physically fit but died early.
If immunotherapy can recognize cancer cells, then how come it can start attacking organs like the pituitary, adrenals, colon, liver and pancreas?
Thank you ❤😊
My only problem understanding. This is in the countries of Jordan, Saudi Arabia. The Middle East, they consume crazy amount of sugar with sweets but has the lowest cancer rate of anywhere.
Not really, I am from the Middle East. Me and many others have cancer and the incidence is rising
Taking precautions doesn’t guarantee you will live long and healthy but not taking precautions definitely guarantees that you won’t.
Not true…smokers die at many times the rate as non smokers
How can someone eliminate glutamin in their diet? One month ago I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. I understand and practisce fasting, no sugar, eating bio greens etc but how to reduce glutamine in my diet? Thanks!
Watch Dr Eric Berg he said he conducted a lot of experiments in regarding to this topic.
Dr Eric said that green teas and aswagandha can inhibit glutamine and garlic, red algae, flax seeds with cruciferous vegetables can inhibit SCOT
They say that green tea helps with glutamine
Glutamine Inhibitor
Green tea (EGCG): Take as a supplement as well as drinking green tea through the day.
you might eliminate it from the diet but it is omnipresent in the body, and necessary so no point. Dr Seyfried talks about the pulse-press therapy through medication (DON). I don't have access to that medication, so I have no direct grip on the glutamine pathway. Unfortunately. I'll soon find out the consequences.

Are natural fruits bad? But fruits have anti-cancer benefits and tumor shrinking and killing factors.
No fruit is “natural” today.
You may as well just eat candy.
There is no bad luck, sorry to burst you bubble. Things happen depending on our actions, what we eat, how we live...
Chemo may only be effective as much as it makes you too sick to eat and end up loosing weight.
One of the main source for formatting of cancer tumours l know is glucose.
Thank you.
The best things all people can do is avoid franken food, lower
sugar intake, and be appreciative of G-d's bounty.

Acid Blood and Sugar provides the conditions that cancer needs to thrive.
I think 99% of all people with cancer have acid blood.
What do you do if you have a very hard time not losing weight. I've lost 20lbs + and struggle to hold weight on.

Sorry why did my sister in law still die from pancreatic cancer when they found it early. She eat nothing but sips of water and still grew and spread round her body. She described it as a tree trunk growing in her torso.
If anyone doesn't eat, they will die. The body can not perform or sustain itself with no fuel whatsoever.
My brother died of pancreas cancer too. He said it felt like somebody was squeezing you too tight.
My brother too in March this year. He didn’t want to die. It was sad.

Havent "they" put it in some vaccinations ??

I don't get your reference to parasites. Can you please elaborate.
Cancer is not a parasite. It's uncontrolled cell growth due to mitochondrial dysfunction.

We need doctor's to be able to recognize this and study these extensively before they say their an endocrinologist and a nephrologist!!!!

How could a doctor not know a fat person has huge medical issues
Fasting can help a lot with both issues by stimulating phagocytosis, which is how the body clears these things out! Some benefits of doing occasional extended fasting: High blood pressure is lowered to normal levels very quickly while fasting.
Fibrosis/scarring is reversed over time.
Fasting increases nitric oxide release.
Fasting restores NAD+ to healthy levels.
Vitamin D plasma levels are increased as fasting improves metabolic health, and vitamin D in turn increases autophagy.
Autophagy (literally self eating) will cause cells to recycle foreign matter such as viruses and kill cancerous and senescent cells
Lowering insulin via fasting virtually eliminates chronic inflammation in the body.

Dr. Fung probably thinks/speaks within the evolutionary paradigm because that was his educational backround in college and medical school.
I don't think, its sugar alone, but minerals in our diet, which are low, or missing, because of our soils.

Are fruits bad or good. Grapes with seeds and blueberries are supposed to be cancer fighting.
Fruits are ok in moderation if you don’t have cancer, but if you do severely limit your fruit intake until you improve, remember it’s the glucose you’re trying to reduce and cancer loves glucose

when I stopped taking the trial meds I was very weak and tired could hardly stand for about 5 minutes.
(HIIT)
To make the body as inhospitable as possible to cancer, best things you can do is to maintain an overall lifestyle of diet and exercise.

What the hell? I saw this already, as well. You spliced in another, different session. This session was ruined for me by your obvious cuts.
