Nice,👍 why are you sanding down to bare metal tho?? If you expose the metal you need etching primer so it doesn’t rust!! Especially if you spray it down with water… I would just start with some 220 and work your way to a fine grit sand paper then prime..(try not to expose metal)

Have to get rid of all the old primer that causes paint not to stick. Very common on white cars in the earlier 2000s and 90s
