I have to say that your experience is NOT unique and the loss of color happens with DC Golden age. I have modified my exposure times since from 10 min to 5 min per your videos (about the same solutions) and the results have been pretty good and more consistent recently. And like you, I notice the color loss and stop. The results aren’t so bad. I will show off one of my DC Golden age books in the group next week. Great job Dr Paul. Enjoy your work.
Thanks Peter yes you need to keep the total time in solution minimized for sure. I think this won’t be too bad but will have to wait and see. I still have bigger fish to fry with the restoration removal anyway!

Me too Rick! I had to move on to glue removal and the tear seal before drying, so i haven't seen it yet. Going to have a look at it later today. Should get the next video up on Friday evening. 👍🏽

Glad you enjoyed it Up North! I still have to deal with this glue removal too so even if the ink fade isn’t too bad we aren’t out of the woods yet!
