- I picked up a 25 Long-box collection for $3,000! I think it's perfect for the antique shop, claim sales and maybe a bit of grading should I want to! what did you think of this pickup? See any books you're interested in? I defenitly need to keep it moving and out of the house!

@@MintHunterComics Ohhhh to have your problems LOL. With my antique shop set up using a portion of my stock, I only have maybe 10 boxes at my house to cull for Ebay sales and for restocking of the store. Unfortunately there are some dogs in there that take up space rather than making me money. That and I have to sell to be able to buy the next collection. I haven't gotten myself to the point where I can buy a collection and then immediately buy another should the opportunity arise. Actually that is a slight fib. I bought a trunk full of 80's books and then a week later I bought 6 long boxes because it was just too damn tantilizingly close to my home. ::shrugs:: A fool and his money are soon parted LOL.
10:28 That's pretty crazy how they could get away with saying the n-word in a comic (even if the context was of her giving an example of "mutie" being an evil thing to say just like the n-word is, aka saying both are bad and shouldn't be said). I wonder if that comic would ever jump up in sales if more people knew about it. Controversy sells, right? What do you think?

Think the fist meeting of The Punisher and Daredevil is in Daredevil #183.
I came here to say this - but also Punisher 10 is cool because not only is it a Whilce Portacio cover, but it's the companion story to Daredevil 257 - they're the same story, but the Punisher issue tells it from Punisher's perspective while the Daredevil story tells it from Daredevil's perspective.

"Miller" as in Frank Miller and "Millar" as in Mark Millar are pronounced the same way: it's "Miller" for both.
Dark Horse's Aliens miniseries has lovely Mark Nelson b/w art.
Green Arrow: The Longbow Hunters has some of Mike Grell's best writing and art.

Thats a lot of variety. Good grab!! I'm with you on the star wars prequels, they get WAY TOO MUCH hate..the people who hate on them had to defend the originals to the older generation who didn't get it, just the same..and without them, you wouldn't get all the characters that they're having success with NOW...the sequels were rushed though, so many missed opportunities, they could have worked in from books and comics..
I know the CGI and Dialogue is bad. The story is PERFECT Though and I think casting was epic
Break the mold and have a fifty cent sale. It will go much more quickly.

At 21min mark you commented on tom kings batman run. I compare it to fine dinning experience. 1st couple of dishes are good until you reach the final course and leaves such a bad taste that ruins everything you just will never go back or recommend to others

Oooh! Full Runs should be easy to unload. Your wife shouldn't be too mad since you are making money. Do you involve her in the business/hobby? So many men blame their wives for issues in comic selling/collecting when they can just involve her in it.
She's not ACTUALLY mad - but it does certainly make a very cramped space in our tiny home

The Star Wars prequels were great but those sequels were garbage. Force Awakens was good but the 2 that came after ruined the entire trilogy and I hear they're going to double down on it by giving us more. Great collection James.
I honestly try to forget the sequels. when I think of them I get visibly upset.
