I have been playing with the demo for over a week now. The whole reason I am interested in iClone is to bring in Daz figures and use the dynamic cloth and hair feature. You make it look so easy in this video, but you are leaving a whole lot out. I have not been able to get this to consistantly work for me at all. The clothing cannot be over 20,000 polys so it has to be decimated. Also, hair props and clothing that genesis doesn't auto-fit can't be used because they won't import attached even if they are parented. I could go on... This is way more trouble than its worth.
Thank you for bringing this up. We have now created a quick video tutorial that should help you address the issues you are having. ruclips.net/video/EZCx2Q2FuU8/видео.html
msjaebea ok just a tip 20 000 poly count is for part of mesh that will be affected by physics. you don't need to decimate clothing in case you wont use whole dress with physics and most of them don't need physics on whole object, try making smaller weight map for same dress and you will then see do you need to decimate, I have tried even with long dresses and it work (one of dresses had 32 000 poly).
msjaebea Also with any hair fit problems in daz3d... just export hair on it's own and fit it in iclone6 directly and later save as accessories, it works with any hair from any generation of daz characters, also you may use physx on it and even better you may use that hair on other characters. take a look at my sample test video with PHCatwalk hair (it is attached in iclone6). I see no trouble with daz3d and iclone6 at all. They are now finally very good friends :D If you need help please feel free to message me :)
***** You do it by applying her breat bones in bone edit in 3dchange and then by applying spring effect to those bones. breat will bounce then. Though you need to be aware of spring effect has it's own settings so you will need figure out how hard you want them to bounce depending of animations you create. You may create really realistic bounce if you experiment a bit with settings of spring. Default values are probably little bit too high bounces for breasts so i would recomment trying different settings and you may test em by applying animations directly there while you change settings :)
+Hicham Habieb - YES, very soon. The upcoming update iClone 6.5 will include a new Alembic export function that will finally allow for soft-cloth animation export from iClone to other tools.
That is AWESOME... but TOTALLY USELESS - as RL has apparently dropped support for the DAZ > ICLONE bridge (facekey.duf files) - which no longer work since the advent of DAZ 4.8. I hope they will fix this, but there has been no word about when or if they will.
Great tutorial on physics map, just what i was looking for.
Is it possible if you could make a tutorial on proper weight mapping for long DAZ Hair, primarily the OOT Hair?
Nice. I have GIMP and will switch over to Ps soon.

Can you start this Tutorial at the moment when you add this clothe to a DazGenesis 2 Figure?
Is there a way to export the soft cloth animation ?

great news , thank you !

My dress just falls off as soon as I add physics!!
