This is an amazing job. The quality of the 3d models of the ships is awesome, and the music gives it the perfect touch, i also love how you included the ds9 and voyager themes on it, it's amazing that now things made by fans can be better than some things that Hollywood can do
I cannot take credit for the theme (that is actually Sam Dillard's work), but I do thank you for your kind words.
The giants space plasma creatures are something you don't often see in the Star Trek universe.

This was beautiful. The DS9 surprise…. i got goose bumps, such srtful and beautiful cinematography and the orchestration is out of this world! Kurtzman would never give us this, it’s heart-breaking really. Orville has proved it can work, Terry Matalas proved it can work… but Kurtzman wants his lucrative SecretHideOut domtract renewed a second-time and allowing anybody else to succeed will undermine him. So we get a 32nd century Discovery-verse Starfleet Academy teen drama nobody asked for.

so do I. THe ship in question is indeed based on the "Essex Class" USS Endurance by bill krause, but it has my late 24th century spin on it. :)

I like the ship. Looks like an update of the Belknap Class for the 25th Century. I saw Bill Krauses name so I assume this is one of his designs? What’s this for? A new fan series?
The Solaris is an update to a design made by Michael Alexander's NX-1701-A that he designed after STIII. I made this video to basically showcase my progress in blender.
@@michaelmundwiller5195 well I will say it definitely looks like an update of the Belknap. The smaller secondary hull is the big tipoff. The struts are not underslung like the Belknap but they’re still low. I think your design is pretty cool and you do good work.

2:30 mark - Solaris passing a school of space jellyfish! As far as the mistake in the music credit, the mistake was mine. It should read "Where No One Has Gone Before" as that was the title of Sam Dillard's wonderful piece of music.

It's clearly set after Kirk since Deep Space Nine and the Bajoran wormhole are featured in it.
