In this universe, the Excalibur class is based on Minbari, human and Vorlon technology and is on a quest to save Earth. In another similar Iscandarian and human technology resurrected a WWII battleship to save the Earth in a similar mission.
The Vorlon Planet Killer actually gets thicker as it prepares to fire. The whole ship increases its vertical size (you can see it in Falling Towards Apotheosis). Love the Sharlin, looks beautiful.
Would love to see a photorealistic representation of those ships one day. I wonder what they would look like with photo realistic materials and lighting. Well done just the same. I really miss this show.
Just add reflection & specular maps and hey presto you'll get that infamous photorealistic look. I do it on some of the older models when I have the time. Also, I go for the original B5 look to be faithful, not because I can't do it :)
Loved this video, especially the end with the Klingon Birds of Prey, Starfleet Akiras, the 2 Nebulon-Bs, & the Normandy from Mass Effect at the very end. Keep these videos coming!
Huh yeah, I ought to delete/make 'em private really as they're a bit naff. I didn't have Lightwave then, as it's expensive. When I first looked at getting LW it was $20,000 !!!!
Amazing work as always. They look so good!. Well except for the Earth Force destroyers. Omega class destroyers or are Omegs the Cruisers? Anyway those just did not render out well lol For some reason the look very cartoonish but they were already fugly to begin with
You mean the Warlocks with the Whitestars? The model's over 20 years old. I can't be bothered to tweak all its textures because I don't like it that much tbo, and the channel doesn't get the views to warrant the time.
This kind of graphic is good for some of our school video games. Back in the 1990's era is look like kind and cool at the same time. If they are going to reboot Babylon 5 series again , they must some improvement to fulfill the new taste.
I did one called Babylon 5 Starship Renders HD not long ago that has Primus fleet in it. Also plenty of Primus action in my back catalogue, usually on the receiving end mind you ;)
This just occurred to me while re-watching this video: If the _White Stars_ became facetiously known to fans of B5 as _Plucked Chickens,_ would your _Super-White Stars_ be known as _Plucked Turkeys?_ 😉
This is amazing. What was used to create these scenes? It almost looks like Space Engine. I've looked for B5 ships for Space Engine and have come up empty.
there is something missing from making this perfect and I am not well versed enough to be able to tell what that is. My guess is dynamic lighting from whatever source you want to use.
@@SpacialKatana Go to bed and get some sleep bro, you got a lot of work to do. Make some more vids with the EA Warlock class destroyers with Thunderbolt Starfurys battling it out with the Centauris or something.
Great Work! Love the final scene with the ships from other franchises.
I love the facets and angles all over the Warlocks. The better to deflect incoming beams and projectiles!!
Fantastic work and that POV from the Shadow vessel - nice.
Didn't think anyone would watch that far 😲
You are phenomenal and so is your work and art. ❤
I love those Narn Cruisers!
Favorite design :)

And thank you so much for using the correct Earth Force fighters for planetary flight and not basic Starfurys. That means a lot to the fans!
/sarcsam They were Starfurys not Thunderbolts, but I make nice visuals and don't really care :)
What 's wrong with the " basic " Starfuries ?

Awesome as always :-) loved the Normandy near the end :-)
Yeah it's a cool little ship. I rendered a video of it a few months back, just after I finished playing Mass Effect 3.
5:05 I love space stations built out of hollowed our asteroids.

But no love for the ship the Excalibur class was based on, the Space Battleship Yamato.
Just great. Thank you all.
awesome work !! 🙂 even the music scoring sounded just the show. well done !!
Thanks. The music is from the show ;-)
Thank you! That is beautiful!
my god fantastic work many thanks
Superb. You have come a long way since your early days using the FreeSpace 2 engine 🙂👍

Thank you!
1:25 that was cool as hell. I wish we could have had a shot like that on the show!
Love the animation.
Sick man ! beyond sick
So good

Makes me hope that someone will remaster the B5 series.
A re-master better be all they do if they do.
Very nice renders. Maybe dont have the Vorlon planet killer bank in a high speed turn like a fighter? Otherwise awesome.
Wait a minute... were those some Romulan war birds from “Star Trek” mixed in there among the Shadows at the end??
Yes, a leftover animation I never used for anything.
I figured it might have to do with Bester and the PSI-core!!!!!
I need some sexy centauri fleets! Especially a Primus!!!!

I really liked the Excalibur class ships (or are they Victory class?)
Victory Class Destroyer, there were two built one being the Victory, the other Excalibur

Space Engine to make the background imagery only, all models etc rendered in Lightwave.
2:54 are those something new? Either that or i never saw a G'Quan-class from that angle...
Standard G'Quan m8

Yes, D'deridex Warbirds.
Little bit of everything at the end.
God I miss B 5
might be wrong place to ask, but what happened to Lorien's ship?
This is so ba-bitchen!! BAD ASS
👍👍👍👍👍
No centauri :(
I have done plenty of renders of the Centauri 😉
