- New upload of my 2012 video with new title and music.
The idea for this video was to create a new story using footage of several Star Trek movies and combined them with new CGI VFX.
The result was the "Attack of the Klingons".

They cant make a normal ST movie like back in the days anymore. Everything here is just perfect. The sounds, music and especially the whole atmosphere.

@@daleeasternbrat816 That's a big wish but they couldn't do it with JJ Abrams and also Quentin Tarantino as a big Star Trek fan. The shows today are pure garbage and there isnt a crew or a ship the people would like to see. There need to be something new but now they already destroyed the whole Star Trek universe. Maybe it's just how it is. The franchise is dead and the fans create their own dreams.
I wish that as well where they made the Star Trek tos film saga and or TNG four film series were enjoyable and filled with adventure to watch instead of one constant reboot after another.
4:45 - LOVE how you have Enterprise banking into her turn. Likely not necessary in a space environment, but it adds a certain dramatic flair in terms of seeing her maneuver. ❤️❤️

As said in the previous version, the Spacedock scene brought tears to my eyes. Hearing "Stealing the Enterprise" with a positive spin on the exit. I do like the use of the STV Klingons, as they would definitely be glory hungry.

Makes no sense since the raise shield command was given with enough time for all shields to be up per ST 2, unless the Klingons had the frequency the disruptors would have been absorbed. I suggest an edit where shots are fired, then command is given as the impact occurs on the external shot. With and audio snip of Spock saying we were too late or circuit malfunction, sabotaged! Boom!
Todd Bryant and Spice Williams are such a good Klingon duo. They did the best with the material they had to work with.
Klaa is still my favorite Klingon!

That dead engineering crewman was burnt up so badly it even made Saavik emote at the sight!
Spock didn't, but you could SEE his pain at losing a crew member nonetheless!

I thought it would have been great if you cut the scene in of McCoy asking Kirk if he wants a tranquilizer as the Enterprise clears the doors.
It's amazing how you were able to meld dialogue scenes from Star Trek II and Star Trek III so seamlessly with scenes from Star Trek V. The animation, as always, is first rate, but I was amazed that you were able to create a new story out of so many disparate elements. Great editing!
Maybe I'm missing something here, but can someone please tell me just what the (censored) does Terrell and the Defiant following Enterprise out of spacedock have to do with this "new story"?

In the flow of Wrath of Khan it makes for a great dramatic moment, but yeah thinking about it Scotty lessens the chances of his nephew’s survival and gave the young recruits on the bridge PTSD.

Good video but I'm very curious to see what the other video is, especially when it involves the Klingons.

Even in 1982 when I saw this in the theatres I never understood the idea that Saavik was "piloting a starship out of Space Dock."
She was literally not piloting anything. She simply sat in the Command Chair and gave the order to depart. I could have done that.
The scene would have worked much better if Sulu had asked the question that Spock had asked regarding whether she had ever piloted a starship at all beyond doing it as a simulation at Starfleet Academy. Then, after the response from Saavik that she had not, Sulu would have given a brief nod to Spock who then would have given the order to Saavik to take the helm. Then in the helmsman seat, Saavik would actually pilot the Enterprise out of Space Dock. Sulu would have stood up behind her in support and let her take operational control of the helm. The scene would have been much better in my opinion. More importantly it would have given Sulu, one of the "Gang of Four" crewmembers from the TOS era bridge crew something extra to do.

Oh mercy. That James Horner music score coupled with this space opera. I love it. TR£K 2 & 3 are my absolute favorites !
A job genuinely well done. However the trouble i have with these shorts although they are excellent is we're just continuosly rewatching revised versions of what we've seen many times before. What i want to see is new cinematic Star Trek produced by Paramount to the same level of what we once had back in the classic era heyday. with the advantages of todays special effects.

Well done, this was good work. However this also shows just WHY Cgi is so lame, it's immediately noticeable and when incorporated with actual video footage of camera made items. it is off with lighting and color. Models will always be more realistic especially when used in the same scenes as live actors. CGI has it's usage but it still cartoony looking.

Simply stunned. How did you ever get permission for Paramount to use that footage. I love how you have edited these scenes together. Love the music also. The Grand Ole Days of ST are over. Long may be the memory of Kirk, Spock, and McCoy. I still watch the ST original episodes to this day.

A very good film short. I always thought the Star Trek V Klingons were portrayed as a buffoonish joke (comic relief) that diminished them as franchise villains.
A big fan of the film franchise, very cleverly sequence edited from at least two of the original films. No Kahn, sadly.

Funny. I never caught the "aft thrusters" line. Aft thrusters would make her go forward not reverse. Then the line "1/4 Impulse power". For what? You have aft thrusters going and wouldn't 1/4 Impulse make the ship fly at 41,913,450 Miles per Hour???? Don't let Savik take her out.

Umm shields SHOULD go up on a Yellow alert, but weapons remain OFF line!
A BOP should NOT inflict THAT much damage on a Refit Constitution class cruiser!
Pretty good, my only criticism is a bird of prey would not do anything like that level of damage in it's opening volley of distruptor fire on a constitution class heavy cruiser...shields up or down.

no Kirk no Trek. just clip of movies. Saavik does nothing but sit in the chair & tell someone else to do it. ridiculous. crap cloaking device if Kirk can see it. Kirk always raises shields immediately, non story.
Agreed. Once he’s informed it’s Klingons he would have gone straight to red alert with shields up.

the preivous version you did has no substance at the end and neither did this version the ending was useless all that build up for a lame battle at the end
It's just a fan film / edit. These things take time and money. No need to be so hostile.
