How to fix blinds [clicking noise]

- This is one of the most common problems with blinds. You can easily find a new "wand control" on ebay for the 2" blinds. 1" ones are harder to come by. Just search for "blind wand" and you should find them.

Thanks for the info, but it would be even better if you had a link for the replacement part, I'm having trouble finding the half moon one like yours.
I sprayed WD40 into the wand opening, held a paper towel against it to keep the sprays contained, I fixed 4 of my blinds this way!!

I found replace wand piece free because blinds were from warrantied by manufacturer when I called them, I got them now for whole house!
Hi Adam. I need to fix my clicking wand mechanism on my blinds. Your video is very helpful regarding “how.” I am finding, online, control arms that look the same as mine but either the measurements are wrong or the gear hole is not square, like mine. I don’t know what to do and can’t find anyone to help. Is there any flexibility in the measurement, as long as it doesn’t exceed the housing size?

We used a leaf blower in my room to clear some dust and broke the blinds when aiming it towards them, didn't realize these things were fragile like that

What are those blinds? I am looking for that style of mounting bracket blinds and can’t find them. I can find the regular brackets though.
The wand tilt works but only when the blinds are pulled up halfway or more.
How do you replace the piece that holds the rod the little hook? What is the hook called? Mine is broken😢
I just bought my cordless blinds and immediately after installing them, they won’t open fully and I get the clicking sound. Is it really just needing a new part already?
why did it break to begin with??
of course I just donated a box of unused blinds to goodwill and not 1 week later after having these blinds for DECADES this happens....coulda use a donor part...
