How to Fix Vertical Blind That Won't Open.

If you slide the slats across to close the blind but then they get stuck & won't slide open, this could be the problem.

It worked! I was about to Hulk-style rip the blinds off the wall in a fit of mildly claustrophobic panic, but this worked!!!!! There are like 10 other un-related reasons why my dumpster fire blinds are still broken, but at least I can push them back and see out my window again. Thank you.

What can you do if the blind spacer is not accessible because of where the bar is ? Mine is between the two walls so the gap between the wall and the mechanism is so tight I can't get in to pry it open to fix the spacer

Not turning is an overlap issue usually. When they overlap in the wrong direction. Just individually tuck them to reverse the overlap direction and try that. Fixed mine after seeing that in a video.
