Whats the gold peice called mine came out from the front I think not sure..I ordered part from Amazon not sure if it's correct hope it comes in soon

very helpful thankyou. makes me wonder though why are they so fragile? i wonder if the deteriorate with age? just moved into a new place with these blinds, 2 snapped so far from a light pull.

Hi there, I have blind 3, the bracket that controls the chord to go up and down has snapped...I can pull the blind up but not bring it down unless I manually hold the wheel up so the chain can be release to come down. Do you have any suggestions what this part is called and where could I buy one. It's a beautiful block out blind to good to throw away

Can you please share the description of the tape to use for this? Would be great if you can also recommend a brand that you have used previously

I’m astonished to see that this is a real thing, after fighting and pushing my weight against it, nothing… then I do a google search and this fixed it in seconds, 1 little metal tab causes so much frustration

Oh, my goodness, THANK YOU! This issue on one of our blinds has been stressing me out for almost three years and nothing else (i.e., coating the string with rosin, etc.) worked. But this took me just a few minutes, and the blind is now fixed!

Thank you! My one's spline was stapled on and hadn't been attached well. An extra staple near the end, reassembly, and the whole thing's as good as new!
