I was about to pay $175 to get inside mount blinds when I came across your video. I was able to cut to size for inside mount and it looks great.Thank you!
Thanks for this mate! U have saved me lots of money as the wife was gonna get new blinds as away to move house and this ones have been specially messured to fit! Now knowing how to cut them I no I can do this as windows are smaller in next house thanks mate u have saved me couple hundred ££££ 😊😊
This specific slimline headrail when measuring for replacement, always take into consideration that your blind manufacturer may take their own deductions. You will be required to give your manufacturer the recess size, which is the size of the headrail width with 10mm added on.
I was hoping you would show the part on how to delete the extra slat holders, that is my problem. The store I bought them from is over 55 miles away, and I am disabled not able to drive back there without someone else having to be my driver. They shortened them, as you did here in your vid, to measure specs but they failed to remove the extra slat carries so I now have a load of slats taking up space and bulky at the end of the rail which are needless and not very nice looking. Do you have a vid on this issue as well???
