Found many painful videos in my hunt for pen stain eradication. Yours was to the point, showed many options, and I appreciate it. This video is the shining light of pen stain destruction

@@prestigedolls1296 I used the alcohol first and blotted until I pulled as much out as I could. Then I used dawn hand scrubbed the material together & rinsed

3/2/23 Good morning sir😱 I watched the whole video & after but The Pink stuff ( not the laundry products) I saw this. My daughter the tattoo artist is good for wearing good items to work & she got Black red & teal ink on her cream cloth sneakers 😭 it sat there for 3 years. Stuck @ home I decided to tackle stains. So I saw this I did the 90% regular alcohol ( maybe should have listen & tried the rubbing alcohol) but it did lighten after 3 tries but still there. I finally tried the HAIR SPRAY no time at ALL the black tattoo ink gone. Now light grey so pre treat with half baking soda & dawn with small ratio hydrogen peroxide in paste form let sit then wash as follow. 👏Many thanks ❤️ you have single handed save my favorite EVERYTHING

OMG - that's awesome. I know it all depends on the type of ink, so you never know what will actually work! Thank you for the comment!

@@StevesRealWorld3/3/23 I did what he suggested.... reapply let it sit reapply then once it completely dissolve I hit it with half dawn & baking soda used peroxide as the water based mixture & voila tattoo ink pen black permanent marker gone from the whites. I will never use bleach again. Although I do love how bleach smells 😃

I so appreciate your comparative approach so we can compare results. Nice work! (This video should have way more views than it does.)

Isopropyl alcohol = Not much good, Ethyl Alcohol / propanol /ethanol = Much better results. Hairspray contains propanol /Ethyl alcohol Not isopropyl which fixes the ink, hence the results... not to mention the Poly vinyl acetates in hairspray also help to dissolve ink.

Need to put some big blotches on the fabric. I left a ball point pen in the back pocket of light grey jeans and washed those with a variety of khaki tone shorts (about 6 pairs of pretty expensive brand) and t-shirts of grey, tan, yellow tones. Incredibly the pen leaked only on the most worn out pair of shorts and didn't get on any of the other garments, and only in one blotch on the back packet. Wow was I fortunate. That could have been very costly and time consuming.

I tried the Lift Off...that didn't work at all for me...surprised it worked so well in this video. Very expensive and did nothing. I still haven't gotten the stain completely out. The best luck I had was spraying body spray on it and it smelled a lot better than Lift Off. I think I'm out of options and just lucky I didn't ruin the whole load of laundry.

Gives us hope you were able to remove the ink blot! This is and awesome and very helpful video. We accidentally left a pen in one of our pockets in the wash. 😅 Hoping to successfully remove the ink after seeing this vid.
