The difference between 2015 players and today players is that theres a lot of guides and information to improve coming from the top players and ex-pros. How his brain multi-tasks and processes all of this in a split second is wild. He's also considered 'old' (approaching 30) in the esports world, but still pretty untouchable. The only other player who can come close to challenging Faker is pretty much Dopa.

Yeah, the goal is to not be in this situation in the first place. High elo coaches often vod review only the first 5-10 minutes, cause that's where the game is decided. It's the small wins in early trades that snowball into a 20/1 Yone top. It's also the same reason why a player who went 1/8 in their first game can go 10/1 in another. It's just a huge snowball effect (until they make a mistake and lose their lead).
