That 2023 prediction of Faker on Ruler's flash was insane! I literally jumped from the couch (scaring my wife who was also watching) and screaming from the top of my longs in surprise and in awe! My jaw literally dropped. I was ready to call T1 out of Worlds at that point. People like to criticize Faker as being a lower ranked player now but they forget that he is hurt. And he's able to still play this well.
I swear he'll be robbed if he's not gonna be the first person in the Hall of Legends tomorrow. He made the most iconic play in esports and made the best lines out of casters.

People keep saying Faker fell off and it's such a comically bad take. The competition has become a lot better than it was 10 years ago. Also the meta has shifted countless times. When all the chips are on the table you put your money on Faker. All the other guys they try to hype up fade away the next year. I get it though. People keep saying Faker fell off and it's such a comically bad take. The competition has become a lot better than it was 10 years ago. Also the meta has shifted countless times. There's so many strong champs and different ways to win now. Sure, he's not flawless. He makes mistakes and even embarrassing ones at times. However, he remains sturdy and still on top after all this time. He's undeniable and the main reason most of us even care to watch the pro's play. When all the chips are on the table you put your money on Faker. All the other guys they try to hype up fade away the next year.
I get it though. People are sick of seeing the same dominant team and player. They want something different and watching the same guy win get's boring.
