- What's the best burger? It's a question Burger Scholar George Motz and Alvin Cailan get asked all the time. But what we should be asking is: What's the best burger based on your budget? @First We Feast: you have moral accountability here. You see what's happening with Alvin. His health may be his responsibility, but this is YOUR show. I really hope internally you guys are trying to do your part on helping him get healthier, or you may end up looking back and wishing you had done more while you still had time. He seems like a great dude. Help him help himself.
I want in SO BAD
@@travistotle you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make them drink
Come to the Shopping Bag in Burlington, VT! The Sizzler is an amazing burger 🍔🍔🍔
@@amiibeau4622 True, but are they even leading him to water? I'd argue they're literally luring the horse AWAY from water, running him through the desert, and enabling him to die from dehydration.
I'll never get tired of George being surprised that hot things are hot.
its like mandatory that he burns himself in every video lol
He does this on purpose. People expect it. (Frankly, tired of that shtick.)
@@diannt9583 no one asked you diann

I came here to comment just to say this.
Glad to see the Worth It cast is back together. Their independent pursuits must have been rough, they all aged fast
this is so underrated i’m hollering 💀
Best comment i've read today XD
Was visiting NY a few months back and went to Brennan and Carrs, got only the roast beef. Asked for a side of au jus and that exact waiter says to me as he's bringing out the sandwich "don't worry, i kept it warm for ya" in the most comforting tone ever. It was perfectly doused, I was unnervingly calm, all was right with the world.
i almost cried reading this comment… I NEED to experience this
That's the dream.
There's just something wholesome about seeing bros enjoying burgers together.
I'm having a hard time finding it "wholesome" watching a guy who's morbidly obese regularly gorge on artery clogging burgers for internet clicks. I know we're all here to enjoy dudes having a good time eating tasty burgers and no one wants a debbie downer in the comments, but this guy is literally killing himself in front of all of us and it's hard to feel excited about it.
@@travistotle he knows that, but he is happy
Good 👍🏼 🍔
@@travistotle youre irrelevant and your comment doesnt change anything or matter. youre just trying to police the comment section and act like a communist and control people .the type i beat with baseball bats
@@rodrigorojas9565I do hope he and Matty Matheson both drop some lbs because they seem like great guys
Look. I love first we feast. Love the snack vids, hot ones, the taco series. But NOTHING gets me more excited than these burger vids. The burger has been my fav food since I was kid. Love the effort put into the visual story telling and the actual story telling. Plus, it gives me ideas on what I can do with my own burgers at home. Really appreciate this series from you guys 👌🥂🔥
Same here, brother. There's something I can't put my finger on that really excites me about the classic burger. Maybe it's because I enjoy burgers so much or that there are so many variations that I find intriguing. Whatever it is, One thing remains true...the burger show is king.
@@tookings im with you guys lol. Burgers have always been my absolute favorite food.
nah burgers & pizzas are not good
For sure, I skip all the hot ones stuff and don't watch the snacked series. I just want to watch George go around spreading his enthusiasm for burgers. By far the best content this channel puts out (I wish I could subscribe to just the burger show).
I see George Motz. I click Like. Simple
Complete opposite. See Sean. George is annoying
@@japnuts nah he makes some good burgers
@@japnuts yet here you are commenting on a vid with George.
@moviemetalhead also with Sean, so there's that..
@@setinstone9496 yeah but I figured George would be so annoying for Japko that it wouldn't matter if Sean was in it. There's that too..
George's burger show is the reason I've decided to get a Blackstone griddle and try out some of these regional works of hamburger artistry. And onion seems to be the prevailing theme in most of them. Great show with great presenters!
Honestly, same here.
Thinking about getting one. Hes using one with gas? I guess the heat is not a problem, i mean getting it hot enough? Seems to be hard to find where i live unfortunately..
I recently picked up a Blackstone because I got tired of grease getting EVERYWHERE in my kitchen from cooking burgers on my cast iron plancha.
Cleanup is SO much easier now.
Also, if you have the opportunity (and you don't already do so) look into grinding your own beef blend. It's a major game changer. Even if you're just grinding chuck. Fresh ground tastes totally different that something pre-ground from the store.
I really, really love my OG Weber kettle but I’m thinking about trying the black stone myself for some epic smash burgers.
SO refreshing to see a gourmet burger that's not just caviar, truffles and gold leaf for a change.
Yup
yes just fancy ingredients that raise so price to people over hype it cause of the ingredient it has instead if the flavor/taste
Those old Italian guys had me CTFU 🤣 when he called the waiter CURLY, from the Three Stooges...🤣🤣🤣
Can we please get an episode with George like every week. This is some of my favorite content on the entire internet
I agree, he's awesome. How much burger specific content can you make though? I'd love it if he did different regional foods or something like that.
Alvin’s chill perfectly balances Motz’s spaz, these guys are “The Odd Couple” in the best way.
Sean is totally right about the fry game around the world being relatively weak. Where are my super crispy, super thick cut fries and wedges?
There are so many great arguments to be had about fries. Like me arguing that thick cut fries ain't got nothin' on the shoestring style found at the mom-n-pop "famous" roast beef/burger shops of my suburban Boston childhood. Like McDonald's style but way better.
One thing I've learned about for fries: Australian Chicken Salt... A staple over there.
@@SimuLord there is nothing compelling to me about saying McDonald's style but better. That's like saying your Clydesdale jumped a pony fence.
Just ask the Belgians, they came up with it. Pick the right spuds, cut them correctly, fry twice in beef talo. Not that hard, but takes commitment and few are willing to go that far for a fry.
GIVE US MORE GEORGE MOTZ
You need to let MatPat on Hot Ones
I have been waiting for more George for months. This man makes me happy like no one else. he is hilarious and so cute and sweet, plz continue to support him and his dream of burger heaven !!!!
I am truly concerned about Alvin's health. He seems like such a good dude.
I really hope he can get healthier, he's such a fun personality, it would be such a shame to prematurely lose him.
The burger videos are the absolute best part of the first we feast channel hands down. Always excited to see a new one drop and I can't get enough of George. He's like the Yoda of burgers.

hot ones?
@@JaneNayes hot ones is boring.
@@saphcal it’s okay, you can be wrong this time
@@tim.noonan i can, but i wont be. celebs are boring. talking to celebs is boring. hot wings are boring. burgers are not.
Not to sound like I am complaining but this is what this show is always meant to be. The short shows were great and got us through the tough times but I will gladly wait longer between episodes to get this quality each time. Excellent work everyone
this is my first exposure to George Motz, instant fan, one of the best food guys I've seen!!
You gotta watch The Burger Scholar Sessions!
Dang, do I envy you- you've got tons of new content!
I'm stuck here having to wait for new episodes and re-watch old ones. ;)
SAME X 100!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@TKID-17105 WHAT?????????? This wasn't the first one?????????????? THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One of my favorite things is seeing the different fonts they used to use for restaurant signs and menus! It's so nostalgic and gives us a peek into the evolution of marketing🍔
Man, this is an amazing Idea. I'd love to see Burgers By Budget in more areas.
As someone who grew up in North Jersey, we used to go to White Manna after practice or a game and devour 4-5 and then feel like degenerates after, but it was worth it. Glad to see it get some love from George and Alvin. I also love the Jersey City spot (OG), but it's the potato buns here that take the dub, while the vibe at JC spot makes it more fun to sit down with friends. This spot, you usually just sit on your car hood and eat.
Petition to bring Matt Patt on the show
I missed George so much 😥
So glad to see him in the burger show again 🙏😍
So glad George and Alvin are back! Love them both.
Well you're half right!
@@ADIDASects What is your issue with Alvin? You dissed him at least twice now.
@@ADIDASects Racially motivated
Love that White Manna burger. Just discovered making Oklahoma onion burgers at home and they are so good. No condiments necessary. 80/20 Meat, American cheese, steamed onions and bun. All you need.
Was so excited for this series to start! Great way to kick it off! All those looked amazing! Liked the concept of the different price levels. I'm all about that roast beef burger 🤤🤤
I really hope Alvin can get under a healthy weight. I wanna see him do this for +20 years from now....Life is great and should be preserved as long as possible
Yeah, at least George takes care of himself. He's always biking. Like George once said, "I consider my burger intake to be a privilege, not a right."
Gonna be the best series this year no doubt
The combination of everyone involved in this video created pure magic. Kudos to the team that worked on this. All the right choices, all the right people. I was bombarded by positive energy the entire 20 minutes. Y'all are really putting in work
I always love the vibes on these videos. And want to eat every burger I see.
These guys make me smile. Great to see them back!
I always love George and Alvin content. They need to make way more videos.
Yo! My main-man George Motz the Burger scholar! Your show in the past few years does more for "making America great again" than those old fools in the White House during the past two decades! Massive thanks to you and Alvin! Great to see the Burger Show getting a new series! Best show with greatest personalities!
burgers never get old
Love seeing George Motz back ❤
"The fries need to ketchup to the burger game." That is the best line, and finely crafted by Sean Evans.
Sean, George, and Alvin are my food heroes. Love everything these guys show us
David Choe has fooled you he is Alvin
I love how George drops the occasional f-bomb out of pure excitement from time to time and immediately flinches
Loved this episode, so wholeheartedly, we’ve got a great dynamic duo! 🙂
Man, I missed you guys. Legit one of my favorite web shows.
This is such an awesome start! New life goal burger bucket list.
George and Alvin are a treat. Love these guys.
Yes, George is a treat and Alvin is a person that exists!
Great to see the legends of "first we feast" in one episode. Love it
We love George in this house. Also the first time these 3 are together? count me in
What’s up with the channel’s PFP?
ikr does it show as a grey pfp icon with a slash over for u?
It shows grey for me, yeah
It's an ad for car safety:
Wear your seatbelts!
So happy this show is back!
These 2 guys are my burger heroes. It's impossible to express how happy I am when I see these two together.
BURGER BROS FOR LYFE!!!
Bruh this segment of the channel has been missing for far to long, but the production value has doubled. Well done.
Where’s y’all’s logo?
Yeah, same quexion here:
Where's yall'zes logo at y'all.
S'all I'm sayin'
@@Apollo440 I think I forgot to laugh. The way I typed it out is grammatically correct. It might be funny here but not in person. Just fyi if you happen to amble down to Texas. You might end up horizontal
@@Texan96 I'm not afraid, but just want to clarify: I wasn't making fun of you.
I'm not from the States, so I find the "y'alls" and all those accents, which I stumble upon on the internet, quite interesting.
And I was truly bewildered by the fact the logo is missing & wanted to comment together with somebody else, to make the comment thread more popular. Yours was the first I found. No offense.
Best burger I’ve had in my life was from a food truck at the Rock Carnival & Food Truck Fest in Lakewood NJ about 7 yrs ago. 1/2 pounder, big slab of bacon, fried egg, Swiss and the guy’s self-made sauce. Took me at least 20 mins to eat it and my hands were totally grimy after. If you can find Good Mood = Good Food, don’t miss it!
Motz is just the maestro, leading the orchestra.
God I love that man with a passion!
Let MatPat be on hot ones
Would love to see this for Illinois or Wisconsin, too! Maybe not the biggest part of the audience, but...
As someone who lives in Illinois, I concur!
I’m from Chicago we definitely love our burgers and so does the rest of the midwest
As someone who lives in WI. I agree with this statement. The Midwest has got some real hidden gems burger wise
Hamburger history and information I never knew I needed. But so glad that know it now🤗. Love this show
this was great entertainment . I hope this bucket list can continue as you can still learn a lot from this show,
LET'S GO!
Been waiting for this, so good, already can't wait for the next episode
George, Alvin and a hint of Sean! The Trifecta! Perfect and awesome episode
Everytime, man. Everytime George Motz brings you walk around the world of burgers, it's so wholesome.
Mercy ur making Me hungry,,,great show thanks for showing
You have to bring MATPAT on the show! The guy has been testing ways to beat the spice for 3 years straight.
Great video and loved all the different levels of burgers you show casted
Excellent as always!
George and Alvin together had me laughing so hard I cried.
George Motz always gives me James May vibes.
Agree with that
This video is so good I watched the ads all the way through. Alvin's response to au jus was so good...
Ugh... These two may be my actual spirit animals. I never thought a tour for burgers deserved a planned vacation but now, I feel a calling to make a similar trek before I leave this planet. I only hope somehow these guys happen to cross my path along the journey. Job well done gents! I'm drooling over here!
We look forward to seeing more content like this. Keep up the good work.
George is a national treasure.
I love you seeing you all together 😍
I watched this video right after having a fulfilling dinner and I have to say, I was salivating while I was watching. All of these burgers looked awesome!
George and Alvin are great together! Lots of knowledge and charisma!
Alvin really needs to work to lose weight though. His skin condition is very off-putting. I know sometimes people can't help these things, but he needs to be working these things. He's a great guy with a great personality, so we want him to be the best he can be!
Those burgers look amazing! Now I’m hungry 😋
Nice that you are doing a new season of Worth It 😉
one of the best burgers i've had was in East Atlanta Village. the Korean restaurant Gaja had a prefix menu for their 2yr anniversary and they had sliders with nothing but mozzarella and kimchi on a toasted bun. amazing
Love the BURGER SHOW keep up the good work boys!
The Burger Show is back, baby! LOVE IT!!!
The Fulton's Gruyère Cheeseburger au Jus is simply perfection!! If you're in NYC, you have to try it.
Super excited about this season.
This made me want to fly to NYC and take a burger tour!!
These guys make you want to joint them on the burger hunt. Great edit, now to visit a few. Gotta love Motz's playful laugh.
Thanks for the segments that I can click ahead and go back to show someone
Well worth it just finished so we needed this
All 4 of those burgers were bussin 👌🏻
Alvin is looking like his next burger may be his last, he needs serious help.
Yeah, I love the guy but he really needs to lose weight soon or he will not be around much longer. I know it's hard, but I don't want to see that headline.
SUCH a satisfying video. I love these two guys AND a good burger. topped with some Sean Evans! Cheers!!
I love that Wolverine's dad has found something to do now that he's retired.
I love listening to Motz talking about burgers.
When I'm out of burger ingredients, this channel becomes my happy place where I can daydream until I can afford more burger ingredients.
Oh yeah! This episode is dope. Nice work.
I already know I’m going to love this show
Those burgers looked absolutely delicious.
Sean Evans, would you please invite MatPat to come on the hot ones show? Food theory deserves an episode and it would be so much fun. MatPat for hot ones!! 🔥 🔥 🔥
Love this show
I love this channel, you folks have amazing ideas and videos. You guys should come out to Spain and check out some of the burgers here--Some spots are doing things incredibly well. It's funny to see the smash burger craze today after taking off here during the past 6-8 years...I feel like the U.S. is still doing it much better, on several levels. Lots of nuances in the ground beef to discuss as well. It's marketed and sold as a different product here than what we are used to seeing in the U.S., in terms of you don't really have an option for an 70, 75, 80, or 85% lean ground product. Unless you are grinding yourself at home, which I don't see much of. Anyways, keep up the good work!
I was disappointed last episode, as George never burned himself. But he has returned to his true self! Also, a great video, you guys are killing it.
It's a liitla sad to see Alvin struggle with everyday life moves due to his size. he can't lean forward over his plate, has to pick it up or use the napkin as a cover....still love him for his enthusiasm when it comes to burgers
I wish the guy with the hat on would take care of his health more, and address the food addiction, really love that guy, I would love to see him around longer. Wishing you well, my brother.🙏🏼 Those boils on the side of your face, have to be, early signs of health issues.
i love how 90% of places they go to, someone will just say that theyve personally known and loved George for years on end, and i love everything about it, so wholesome
PLEASE GET MATTPAT ON THE SHOWWW
