I agree with Orca’s comment above mine, unfortunately nearly all the vegans i’ve met have either been really pushy about veganism/killing animals or had some sort of a superiority complex, which is a shame. One of my good friends has been vegetarian/vegan for a long time, and she was never pushy, she just lived her life. Andrew’s dry humor and Steven’s feigned nonchalance is slowly fading on camera. Like even though the jokes are still kind of the same you can tell the awkwardness from being coworkers has morphed into the more natural chemistry of being friends. Didn’t think that in a show about how much food costs I’d see character development 😂
What I liked about them is that almost from the beginning there was such great chemistry and appreciation for each other's humor and disposition which I love.
One thing that's cool about vegan food is that it's safe for people with dairy allergies since there's no milk or cheese or anything like that. So, if there's something on a menu that's vegan, I can order it without having to worry because it automatically won't have anything I'm allergic to in it. It's nice to have a break from worrying about if a food I want to eat will cause a severe allergic reaction or not.
1:38 I’ve had Louisiana vegan food made by my mums friend who’s comes from Louisiana and oh man it’s so good, all the recipes come from her grandmother. It’s some of the best food I’ve ever had
I love vegan food because I can actually eat everything without worrying! Since I have a dairy allergy, it's so nice not to even think about it and just look at a vegan meal and eat anything there.
I mean I love potatoes but after watching this video it makes me think that we just don't use other vegetables to their full potential, like I've only ever had cauliflower or carrots just boiled, and obviously that isn't going to make me rank it as the no.1 veggie, but it just so happens that potatoes are commonly exploited in different dishes so they get more credit than other vegetables.. does that make sense? lol
You guys should do another vegan episode in Seattle. We're not at Portland status(yet)but Seattle has some of the most amazing vegan food out there! Veggie Grill, No Bones Beach Club, Cafe Wylde, Plum Bistro, Wayward Vegan Cafe, Harvest Beat, all amazing places that even non-vegans would be heavily impressed by!
I like watching vegan content because I'm too poor to afford shrimp and crab and other things regularly, and I don't believe in eating real fois gras, and being able to reproduce the texture and flavor at home with more obtainable ingredients (Plants are always cheaper than meat) or at least reproducing the LEVEL of tasty, is a very appealing idea.
The roasted cauliflower alone is 23$ ! Like we roast cauliflower at home and eat it with tahini sauce a lot which almost costs nothing . I always think what expensive food would taste like but i didnt expect to get something i eat at home often as a side dish .. Best part is how andrew and steven were like Waaaooohhh a WHOLE cauliflower
I love this!! Haha I love the series and seeing non vegans in a video actually not hating on veganism and realizing that vegan food can be good and you don't have to be vegan to eat it and enjoy is super refreshing.
Andrew: "so what are we doing eating these apples today" Steven: "..We're in the Big Apple" Andrew: "AHHAHAHaaaaa" you know Andrew wouldn't have laughed at that pun if it were Season 1 of Worth It, just shows how far along this show has come :)
I was thinking the same. Andrew is awesome, but in the earlier episodes he seemed to dislike Steven and as though he just wasn't into the whole show. He's really loosened up and looks like he and Steven are on the same page and good buddies. The show is far more entertaining now.
Totally agree, Sara. But I was wondering if it's a genuine change or if Buzzfeed is forcing a certain dynamic for ratings. Again, Andrew is awesome but in earlier episodes, there were definitely cringe worthy moments where I thought he could barely tolerate Steven and was being dragged onto the show.
Dear Steven, Andrew, and Adam One aspect of my life that has increased by 600% would be the joy I receive from RUclips, as your videos are the causation of this newfound increase in serotonin. In conclusion, I love this show and am deeply troubled by the sudden end as my comment comes to an end, I would like you to look inward, and truly ask yourself. Why? I hope you have a great day. Yours truly Vyom Dutt
For all the comments saying that being a vegan would be too difficult, it's not! I see how you might think that and it can be in the beginning. But give it time and join some vegan groups on Facebook and you'll find all kinds of inspiration! From the moment that I decided to cut down on my meat intake to the one I went vegan, was about 3 years. But now that I'm here, I'm eating so much delicious food and I would never go back to eating animal products! Give it a Google and give it a try, you won't regret it 🌱
It's all about access and cost. The cheapest thing in this video was $10. That is unfortunately high and you must make sure you are supplying yourself nutritionally. I don't see the appeal in restricting your diet at a much higher cost, especially if it burdens everyone around you.
As a vegan myself, I don't appreciate the friendly tone you use towards non vegan people. They are sinners and should reside with satan and the cis males in HELL.
FREE: www.challenge22.com/challenge22/ Here is a wonderful support group for anyone who wants to experience veganism for 22 days! You will have access to mentors, clinical dietitians, and even a personal mentor upon request! It's completely free too :)
I used to be a huge meat eater. I used to work in a kitchen and tried to fit every kind of meat I could into one sandwich, plus cheese eggs etc. I can honestly say the gap between meat and mock meat is closing rapidly. There are now mock meats that are indistinguishable from the real thing. As more people go vegan I'm sure things will only get better. Flavour wise and nutrition wise.
Now you don't even need mock meat. A few start-up food companies use different styles of gene editing or cell growth to give you the real thing without the animal.
In the beginning of the series, Andrew was very unenthusiastic and deeply reminded me of squidward. Now, he has grown tolerant to Steven but still sounds rather depressed 😂
does a deep voice sound depressing to you? Though you could be right, idk. EDIT: Actually i just head Andrew mention his thoughts about mortality, you are correct.
@Loic BergeronThe whole point of an distinction of higher animals and others is their concious to feel pain and abilities to adapt to and manipulate the environment in their favour in a pattern which looks like of reason. If you imagine that aliens are able to come here without such an ability, well that would be ground breaking. Avoiding to eat animals just because they are animals is simply bad logic, otherwise human carnivores had to eat humans aswell since humans are biologically higher animals.
It's the way Andrew instinctively placed his cocktail down on Steven's side of the table for him to taste it, and was already reaching for the one he was drinking - it spoke of familiarity
Love this. Went to NYC for my anniversary & happened upon ABCV....fanciest f*king place I've ever eaten. Best meal ever. Matter of fact, I think we sat at the same country-style shared table but facing the other way as these dudes. Glad they did it right & highlighted amazing vegan food.
@A. B never knew anyone can have problem with someone praying someone.. guess that is expected with some people who do mass shootings in school and destroy other countries for oil lol
In India, vegetarianism is mostly religious in nature and people consume lots of dairy products like milk, curd, paneer, ghee, butter, cheese, etc. which is the main reason India is one of the biggest exporters of beef in the world (please research on dairy exploitation in India). Veganism, on the other hand, is ethically motivated and we try not to use ANY animal products or services, which means we don't consume dairy, eggs, leather, wool, animal-tested cosmetics, etc. Thanks, an Indian vegan
A. B please never buy chai tea lattes, diy henna tattoos, do yoga, write the number “0”, play chess, use buttons, use shampoo, or use a USB ever again. sorry that you probably worship a piece of wood in a t shape and a book. india is a beautiful place filled with so much culture, but thanks to white people it’s stereotyped, just like the rest of the world.

Madeleine Mcilroy WOWWWWWWW SOMEONE HAS A crush!!!!!!

I grew up with vegetables roasted and for the life of me I could not understand why people didn’t like them. Roasted vegetables are One of the best food ever.
I reported you.
It's like veggie candy. Mmm.
@@trxo.1319 😂 why
I love roast potatoes, mushrooms, however, they would have to be roasted with meat.

Very good to hear ☺
Aww!! Stay Strong!!! ♥️
Lololol 🗿🌾
So happy for you. I hope love continues to grow in your life every single day. You deserve it! 💖
Andrew’s dry humor and Steven’s feigned nonchalance is slowly fading on camera. Like even though the jokes are still kind of the same you can tell the awkwardness from being coworkers has morphed into the more natural chemistry of being friends.
Didn’t think that in a show about how much food costs I’d see character development 😂
clubOrange Yeah I know what you mean, you can really tell how their relationship has changed and it's genuinely nice to see.
clubOrange more so with this particular episode =)) but yeah i agree you perfectly described it
clubOrange You sound like a literature major 😂
What I liked about them is that almost from the beginning there was such great chemistry and appreciation for each other's humor and disposition which I love.
One thing that's cool about vegan food is that it's safe for people with dairy allergies since there's no milk or cheese or anything like that. So, if there's something on a menu that's vegan, I can order it without having to worry because it automatically won't have anything I'm allergic to in it.
It's nice to have a break from worrying about if a food I want to eat will cause a severe allergic reaction or not.
Bryanna Ellis That’s how I initially went vegan! I’m lactose intolerant and it was such an easy transition once I cut out dairy 🥛
nut allergy tho
It’s great if you’re trying to avoid dairy, but not if you have soy, nut, or wheat allergies
I know. I was just talking about dairy allergies because I have one.
Bryanna Ellis I feel the same for my son, he has 6 different allergies and going out to eat usually ends in me crying and not eating.
Are we just gonna pretend he didn’t just split an apple with his bare hands like it was nothing???
Yeah try it, you prob can

I’ve had Louisiana vegan food made by my mums friend who’s comes from Louisiana and oh man it’s so good, all the recipes come from her grandmother. It’s some of the best food I’ve ever had
I just want to know how he cracked that apple in half so gracefully...
MasonSee it’s easy. Just gotta put your thumbs together at the top and dig in and it comes right apart
I just went straight to the comments section after I saw it and look for this comment. Because... Same. 😂
Try it! You’ll be surprised how easy it is lol and it looks awesome
21sled totes gonna try it next time I get an apple
My reaction was the facial expression form of ??????????
I love vegan food because I can actually eat everything without worrying! Since I have a dairy allergy, it's so nice not to even think about it and just look at a vegan meal and eat anything there.
You can also eat it knowing it's cruelty free :)

No

I can’t believe you guys did a vegan ep! i was actually waiting for this and it happened. I love it! Thanks!
So is no one going to talk about how badass it was for that guy to split an Apple with his hands.
Steven says he doesn’t like mushrooms
Every vegan chef: Aight bet
Potato is the best veggie. So versatile, so filling, so delicious
are you sasha from aot
Exactly, you can make noodles and broth with it, watch shokugeki no soma, they did an episode on it
So fatty
Totally!

Ryan L. Hunter ijbiu!bbhjb0 1 🙄🙄🙄
what about the bread?
my love for andrew has increased by 600% over the past year
I like watching vegan content because I'm too poor to afford shrimp and crab and other things regularly, and I don't believe in eating real fois gras, and being able to reproduce the texture and flavor at home with more obtainable ingredients (Plants are always cheaper than meat) or at least reproducing the LEVEL of tasty, is a very appealing idea.
Elham Shalabi I was looking if someone has commented on this. It's true.
😂😂😂
Andrew's apple-split in the beginning was boss.
KitsuneFoxKun I was just about to comment on it haha. I thought I was the only one.
I didnt know you could split an apple like that!
He has become Vietnamese (just referencing a meme).
I love this!! Haha I love the series and seeing non vegans in a video actually not hating on veganism and realizing that vegan food can be good and you don't have to be vegan to eat it and enjoy is super refreshing.
I think they wanted to show that vegan food can actually be good. I am in no way a vegan but I think I am down to eat at some of these places.
Erin: that’s not vegan
lmaoooo
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
hahaha
🤣
oh my god LOL
Andrew: "so what are we doing eating these apples today"
Steven: "..We're in the Big Apple"
Andrew: "AHHAHAHaaaaa"
you know Andrew wouldn't have laughed at that pun if it were Season 1 of Worth It, just shows how far along this show has come :)
I love Adam so much, so quiet, respectful, and dat beard game is on point 👌
He just pours the sauce while starting directly at the camera. 😂
He’s comical without being a comic.

Hey are we allowed to talk about your profile picture??
Tragic
Dear Steven, Andrew, and Adam
One aspect of my life that has increased by 600% would be the joy I receive from RUclips, as your videos are the causation of this newfound increase in serotonin. In conclusion, I love this show and am deeply troubled by the sudden end as my comment comes to an end, I would like you to look inward, and truly ask yourself. Why? I hope you have a great day.
Yours truly

"if aliens came to earth and we ate them would they be vegan?"
that question was really out of this world lmao
No. NO. ........
I actually loved your pun. XD
Give it a Google and give it a try, you won't regret it 🌱
omgweirdozz thank you for not being a jerk about your being vegan. It’s refreshing.

I adore him so much 💜
You know he is ukranian right?
EdSopp Polish I'm pretty sure
Henry Rodin na bro he said ukranian in an earlier vid
Which makes him so hot
I used to be a huge meat eater. I used to work in a kitchen and tried to fit every kind of meat I could into one sandwich, plus cheese eggs etc. I can honestly say the gap between meat and mock meat is closing rapidly. There are now mock meats that are indistinguishable from the real thing. As more people go vegan I'm sure things will only get better. Flavour wise and nutrition wise.
One can hope! I love meat, but if I can get similar flavour without the environmental cost of actual meat, I'll jump at it.
Drahcir Strebor I don’t eat meat clones, I eat the real thing. CAUSE IM A DAMN SHRIMP!
Gardien roast for the holidays is pretty damn good! Processed, and shouldn't be eaten regularly, but delicious
Now you don't even need mock meat. A few start-up food companies use different styles of gene editing or cell growth to give you the real thing without the animal.
@@SwordTune yeah but it's the health portion of it too. Cholesterol etc. Now if they can figure that out!

In the beginning of the series, Andrew was very unenthusiastic and deeply reminded me of squidward. Now, he has grown tolerant to Steven but still sounds rather depressed 😂

His name is Steven though...
They are the perfect odd couple.
Andrew always sounds depressed, I think that just his natural state.
does a deep voice sound depressing to you? Though you could be right, idk.
EDIT: Actually i just head Andrew mention his thoughts about mortality, you are correct.

@@sexybutt999 it’s a take on Orangutans 🦧 as they’re gorgeous graceful animals.
"If aliens came to Earth and we ate them would that be vegan?"
*thinks for 4 seconds*
No.
That also got me wondering, if one day we found plants that were sentient, that wouldn't be vegan either, right? Or would it still be vegan?
Christina Aswez it wouldn’t be vegan bc they they would most likely feel
@Loic Bergeron but they could be considered Alive
@@Ms9999Christina yeah but a plant cant be sentient, cause like, than it isnt a plant u know

GOD THEY ARE SO CUTE!!
How did he snap an apple into two so easily? o.o
Shanika try it for yourself, it's not that hard once you get it down
I think he cut it beforehand, that or he just has super strength.
It's easier than it looks.
Just twist the apple with force and that's it.
Put your finger in core pits and just pull hard.
It's the way Andrew instinctively placed his cocktail down on Steven's side of the table for him to taste it, and was already reaching for the one he was drinking - it spoke of familiarity
Finally!!! Buzzfeed actually makes a video that accurately represents vegan food.
Love this. Went to NYC for my anniversary & happened upon ABCV....fanciest f*king place I've ever eaten. Best meal ever. Matter of fact, I think we sat at the same country-style shared table but facing the other way as these dudes. Glad they did it right & highlighted amazing vegan food.

Wow... We in India eat mostly vegetarian,
Sooooo good to see same in modern and more lavish way
Vegan and vegetarian are two very different things bro
@A. B never knew anyone can have problem with someone praying someone.. guess that is expected with some people who do mass shootings in school and destroy other countries for oil lol
@A. B why can't people just take any comment. Like it's better than being a meat eater anyway.
