MrBrightsighed 20 dollar toast seems conservative for a two times Michelin winner. I actually liked it best because it was the most creative. I don't like mushroom but I would have gladly eaten that bread.

Any moisture or drop of water either in the jar, lid, pot, or jam itself can cause mold to grow. I jar things all the time without preservatives and it's safe to just scrape off any mold at the top. That's typically where you'll find them, close to the lid cause of the moisture.
