I am just a hobbyist, so I just snagged a deal on a gently used LPH-80 to supplement my turbine sprayer. The 0.8 will itemize finer I mean it's okay if you're doing a little tiny things but I personally don't like to use anything smaller than a 1.0. But like I said if you're painting very small things it's fine. I will give you a very glassy finish
@@thetriggerman954 That was fast! Right on - so a balance between fine atomization and amount of material you are putting out. So smaller = finer finish, but slower? He barely glances at the compressor, doesn't do great cleaning his gun, it's a mess usually, Doesn't have an on-gun gauge, mixes clear in with base, does all them things you're not meant to do. Gun he uses is generally an absolute pos cheap unit, he's always covered in paint from head to toe. Every damn thing he paints looks factory - baffles me because he ain't doing anything how the "experts" say you ought. He takes a blowtorch to panels after clear to get shut of issues ffs.. a damn blowtorch. Leaves them flawless. I'm betting it's all about talent more so than equipment - certainly is in his case. Kids talented. Much like Mr Triggerman. Hand them a turd, you're still getting a diamond. Defies explanation. Kid doesn't wear a damn mask either, not ever. That bit bothers me, but he just shrugs.
Rockin job btw Trig. Supermint. Very impressed. You got Talent. Guy I know runs a tiny-azz airbrush set-up - compressor is mini, gun is super mini - holds about a teaspoon of paint. I run the tiniest welders doing the biggest jobs on vehicles - my tiny welders do stuff the guys with all the gear pass on. My shidt runs off 13 amps - but I can run them gud. Everyone says that's not possible either. Oh yes it it.

He came to work at his shop I was at He came in with a milk crate and old dirty spray guns I mean extremely filthy me and the prepper or like this dude doesn't know what the hell he's doing turns out he was one of the best painters I've ever met in my life and he taught me a lot, his style of working was horrible smoked cigarettes and drink Rockstar energy drinks while painting the car but he was one bad ass painter. A lot of this Hollywood /internet social media stuff is cool but there's really some people out there that are not working in those environments and are doing just as good of a job if not better. So imagine you take guys like that and then not so great environment and put them inside of the state of the art spray booths and you'd be amazed at what they can do.
@@thetriggerman954 No booth here & no booth at where he works - this guy paints trucks with no booth - I mean semi's, not F150's - people would lose their sh1t at the state of where he paints - stuff rolls out looking like Mr Rolls Royce done the job. It ain't the gear, it's the skill. He'll spend 10 minutes spraying thinners out of his gun afterwards - cups caked in old paint - that nozzle is clear as a whistle - he knows what bits matter & what bits don't.

Kid comes in does paint for us & loads of others.
He does very nicely thank you doing touch-ups for people with them 2 tiny tools.
It's the fight in the dog, not the dog in the fight that matters. I run the tiniest welders doing the biggest jobs on vehicles - my tiny welders do stuff the guys with all the gear pass on. My shidt runs off 13 amps - but I can run them gud. Everyone says that's not possible either. Oh yes it it.
I know exactly the type you're talking about one of the guys I learned a lot from his name was Ricky he's from Spain.
Had to work 12 hours today so I was really slow at this time. Why did your body guy stop painting? I’d much rather be a painter than a body guy.
I think he just got to old and the youngsters were beating him to the punch lol, big old raggedy van too.
@@thetriggerman954 ooooh that old old guy in your videos sometimes?
