- Getting Fitted For The Brand New 2021 Titleist Irons!!! YOU CAN NOT BEAT NEW TITLEIST IRON DAY! since we saw the Titleist T100, Titleist T200, Titleist T300 and even the ultra forgiving Titleist T-400 iron releases they have gone from strength to strength... are these the best irons for every golfer? the best irons of 2021? the best forgiving irons for high handicap golfers? the best forgiving irons for mid handicap golfers? and even the best irons for low handicap golfers fo 2021? the brand new Titleist T100s irons are even a little bit more powerful for anyone who wants to hit longer golf shots... yeah... that pretty much all of us right? in this video I get fitted for new golf clubs by the guys at Titleist and you can see if I should switch or not? lets'd do it... and let's do it now!
You mention not have pre-conceived notions, yet at the start of the fitting, you wrote off the T200 as being right for you. The new T200 don't look like the old ones. You should def consider them in the long irons. Hopefully in the next video you do just that. Good luck.
Hit the t100s yesterday and had to order them. Currently gaming last year model and first time ever switching just after one season of playing a new set. Love my t100s but man oh man, the feel is like no other.
Got fitted last year for t200 irons and ts3 driver/3wood/2&3hybrid at Titleist National Fitting Centre. Tried t100 and t100s irons.Hit them well but t200 gave best results on Trackman.The Titleist guys really know their stuff.Would highly recommend them.
Exciting update to the line! Aesthetically they seem to be a huge jump forward!

If there was a quick turnaround, I feel like these would quickly go in the bag. But, luckily the turnaround time is killing the impulse buy. So, I’m hoping I can hold out long enough to see the new Mizuno MP’s. But one set, or the other, is going in the bag this year.

I just got fitted for the new t100 irons but strangely have decided on the 620 cb,just felt so much better but i’m thinking should i go for newer models over an older club that could possibly be upgraded sooner? But the cb felt real good!
Should I give up 😂 the sound of that T100 when max Homa was hitting it was unreal and now I realise how will it really sound like when we use it 😇🙂 good content setting the expectations

Really enjoyed that, very informative. Am currently thinking about a full bag fitting in a month or so when season slows a bit, current set-up a couple of years old and interested to see if there are any gains to be made, especially in strike!!

What does a fitted set of irons go for? Im a beginner and im getting fitted in 6 weeks. Not sure what brand ill get but i know a friend that just got a set of ping irons for $1500. How much would titlist be?
Really nice video James, and Adam knows his stuff for sure..👍! But the thing for me is, with so many choices of heads, clubs & shafts, will you truly find the perfect fit for what you need or want it to do🤔? Good luck with your quest though, and keep up the good work..👍👍!!

Hi James.... Just curious. What are your specs? - 1/2" and -2deg flat? Your height in inches? I always struggle between cutting shaft length and flattening the lie angle? Some folks argue its best to keep the lie angle slightly upright for a right handed golfer to promote a draw and decrease open face fades/cuts. Your thoughts and those of other readers in the know ?

My friend uses x14s and he plays awesome golf. I use steelhead XRs and just starting to play awesome golf as well 😀😀

i’m thinking the same i played t2s for a few months sold them ordered the new t1s and now i’m playing some old titelist dci’s from like the 90s to hold me over until i get them in i’ve never played better golf in my life

To me this group of heads look better than anything they’ve made. I would consider hitting them even though Titleist has never excited me, until now.

Everything is delayed with titleist. 5 month wait for wedges and mb’s

So, James....its not really about the club head, it’s mostly about getting the best suited shaft for your swing.
Why don’t you test you current irons with those new shafts?

I’ve always heard that the shaft is the engine of the club. I guess, for James, the Project X vs. Modus is like a V8 vs. V6. Not enough bhp in the Modus. 😁
I was fitted for T200s and wish I had tried the T100S irons as they probably have more the feel I am looking for. the T200s are great, but don’t get much in the way of feel…may replace my 9-GW with T100S….
I know you are an advocate for getting a fitting but even you admitted you ended up with what you expected so was the fitting worth it or did you already have you mind set on what you wanted and just made it work?
Just put the new t200 in the bag with tensei red graphite shaft.......FANTASTIC Much better than my previous PXG, higher launch more spin and similar distance

Its one of those I watch just because I know it helps you pay the bills and make stuff that's fun to watch. I don't mind that. its the goal that matters. I did learn another line up check.
you didn't try the t200. I was thinking to get the t00 pw-7 and t200 6, 5, and 4. Or even a t300 4 iron.... Does this make sense?
Just bought T300's a couple of months ago,didn't know there was new ones coming out,would have waited
The new...new ones will be out in about 3 months time that will be even better than these.......Watch this space...
I got fitted a couple months ago for the older ones too and was going to go ahead and get it but for some reason they were out of stock. These new ones look so much better and am glad I didn't get the old ones.
The new T300s are in stores now.
T300 , AMT red r300 would be ideal for your swing I’d say

Wouldn’t it be better trying more than a 7 iron .? The guys over at TXG say “ if your fitter fits you with just a 7 iron , get yourself a new fitter “
The guys at txg also fit all indoors. They sound all great and fancy on paper but they ain’t all that. Absolutely zero tour players doing ANY testing or fitting indoors unless it’s with a putter.
In your videos since this one you don't seem to be gaming these..Are you going to? I know titleist is slow at getting clubs out.Took 8 weeks to recieve mine

Took a look at the new T series yesterday. Sad to say Taylormade P series is still a better looking club. The t200 performed like my 770s but the look at address wasn't close.
I can’t hit project x 6.0 shafts. I hit them so high that wind affects my shots. I’m a true temper s300 kind of guy. I get more of a mid flight that goes for miles

Seems odd to introduce new irons halfway through season. T200 is my guess. I might look for older Titleist as these are out of my price range.

What you've always said about having a fitting makes sense for someone like you who is pretty consistent, but what about someone like me who changes from one round to the next? You can only be fitted based on what you do on the day, surely?
You should still get fit. A good club fitter will identify your swing faults and fit you accordingly. They will see your delivery, angle of attack, spin rates, dynamic loft and efficiency. They have access to multiple club heads and club shafts. Different weights and flexes in shafts. You will leave the fit with a club that you admire the look of and feels great. I had a fit last week and left with PXG Gen 3 P irons. I wanted the T but the Ps performed so much better for me. The fitter helped me address my swing fault - adding too much dynamic loft at impact. I walked out the fit hitting my 7 iron 11 yards longer on average with tighter dispersion and amazing soft feel.

This is the first time Iv watched this guy but this is such a dumb comment haha. I’ll give you some advice. I tend to look up to people who have more then me and think hmm if this guy has a badass Porsche with a nice set of titleist clubs in the back if I work hard maybe I can to one day. No one has ever made it far in life hating on people who have more then themselves. If you change your mindset to be more positive and not selfish you will see changes because your energy will be going to something useful instead of useless like being mad that someone gets new clubs and not you. Then maybe you will one day be able to afford to golf and get new clubs.
