There actually was a final scene, but nothing too important, just showing what became of the actual Bernard.
Fun fact: The actor playing as Metro Man, Brad Pitt previously worked with Dreamworks on another film called Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas, another underrated Dreamworks film. Lexi, I recommend you do a reaction to that movie, I have a feeling you’ll like it.

It’s not about metro man being bad at music and him doing something he’s not naturally good but it is about him doing something HE loves and not something society expects him to do.

What?! You skipped over Hal's incel meltdown on the tower? That was one of the best (& scariest) parts of the film!
Also, poor Roxanne! Megamind is a wonderful character - & I support the ship - but he catfished her for months (albeit unintentionally at first but he still stole someone else's identity for months to maintain the lie). In real life, she would probably be too traumatised to ever trust anyone again - betrayal trauma can mess people up. I feel like people overlook that a bit more than they should when watching this film.
That’s why they didn’t get back together at the end, I like how they are simply amicable now.
I know this is old, but there actually was an end credit scene you missed. Or mid-credit, anyway.
