You were 100% right. My previous PSU(CoolerMaster 650w 80+GOLD) was a refurb and bound to give up. My PC started to reset again and again. Then I changed it with XPGs Pylon Bronze 550w Bronze and gave my PC a new life. I still thank God as Coolermaster didnt blew up my entire PC. My Specs are: i5 10400F h410m MSI Gtx 1660 2x8 corsair 1tb + 128 From my experience: XPGs psu are soundless! Coolermaster had a very annoying sound just like old CRT TVs.

Seasonic is a good brand but as defined in the video, blindly following any brand and giving them your hard earned money without knowing the similarity of different brand's design and their performance is kinda stupid imo. As a matter of fact, Seasonic has recently launched their mid-range oriented Gold PSU who's OEM is a Chinese brand Helly Technology and inside you will find all the low tier Chinese capacitors. Know what's inside instead of being a blind follower.

Does the coil whine (noise) go away when your PC is under heavy load? Also make sure whether the sound is coming from the PSU or the GPU because GPUs also tend to produce coil whine.
i also had that hissing type sound under or without load on PSU you should go to a trusted expert and get you PSU opened and get i checked bcz my PSU was so damaged when i opened it was also a local supply

It all matters On how efficient u want ur power consumption to be , Any Gpu Will run Perfectly on Good Quality 80 Plus Bronze , Gold or Platinum, These tiers just tell the efficiency
Though it's gonna be fine but you will be running close to the max wattage limit of the PSU especially if you OC your processor. For safer side, 650W would be recommended.

80 Plus efficiency really doesn't make any significant difference tbh. It is only beneficial for electricity providers.

Was that Cooler Master MWE series PSU? They were quite famous for turning off during load and also they often refused to turn on for several tries.
