How friggen sad was that , that broke my heart I grew up with him thought he was the biggest star I’ve ever seen . Thank you Shaun for such a great tribute to David
I think they sound remarkably alike. Not identical, but there’s something there….My mother took my cousin and me to David’s first “try out” concert in San Deigo when I was 13. We loved him on Partridge family, so we weren’t put off by the lack of choreography. We were impressed as he paced around the stage in his Elvis-like jumpsuit, singing his heart out to a bunch of screaming teen girls. Watching his life decline was difficult. I feel for his brothers and remaining family. ❤
Seeing Shaun is like being young again and his caring words about David is just amazing how he loved his brother. RIP David heaven has a special man now.
That was amazing. Thanks for sharing. He is a little older than me but I remember the Teen Beat stuff and the number of young girls who crushed on him.
I'm old enough to say I'm honored to be a fan of both brothers and posters of both on my bedside wall kissed goodnight and good morning I'll be 61 NOVEMBER💗💜2,2023!💗💜💗💜💗💜💗💜💗💜💗💜💗
In my day, they were heart throbs. They were both amazing. Everyone wanted David's hair. The Hardy Boys was the show that made Shaun famous. Very good years.
Thanking you Shaun for your reminiscing about David. I lost a younger brother few years ago. I find myself missing him at odd times. When I'm not even thinking about him at all. Thank you for the songs as well.
I know what you mean. My wife passed away a year ago this past June and the song "Tell Me It's Not True" brings back memories of her. I can't begin to tell you how many times I have woken up at night in tears saying, "Tell Me It's Not True." My wife's passing was something that didn't have to happen. She had health issues that she never told me about. Her mother convinced her that doctor's were no good and no matter how hard I tried, I could never get through to her.
Well done Shaun, that was a beautiful tribute to your brother🙏, and a man who was taken away far too soon. 💔 RIP David, I sincerely hope you have found peace. ❤
I was a huge David Cassidy fan, back in the 1970s. Loved to watch The Partridge Family too! Loved Shaun Cassidy in The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries too! Man, this brings back memories.
As soon as I first heard "I'll Meet You Halfway", I fervently wished that I would be able to meet David anyway! Fortune fell in my favour and I met David many times so he called me "friend". That song is SO special to me as I remember our friendship. It is lovely to hear Shaun sing it. I saw "Blood Brothers" several times and cried every time. It was a foreshadowing of how I cried when David was so ill, troubled, and at his death. 😢 I miss David dreadfully but remember him with joy and love. ❤ Shaun does justice to that beautiful, heart-wrenching song. x x x
Beautiful! I've always been a fan of both brothers. I grew up reading all about them and posting their pictures on my walls, notebooks, everything. Teen Beat and Tiger Beat magazines were the best!
😭😭😭 wonderful heart touching tribute.. beautiful... David Cassidy was my childhood crush.. records, posters, teen magazines.. cutting pictures putting them in photo albums.. when I would hear the opening song when Partridge Family was coming on.. this little girl with her anxieties and worries would "Get Happy" and absorb herself in another world... Some years ago I went to see David, on his birthday!, at the State Theater in central valley California.. was in the front row and got a cheek kiss from him while he was singing I Think I Love You❤... Thank You Shaun and Thank You David for bringing smiles to my heart and face!!!❤❤❤❤
I have chillbumps!! I wanna cry! I watched you and David both when I was young and was in love with both of you! Lol! You still sound great!! Oh my heart! 😍😍❤
The song that David and Shirley used to sing on the Partridge Family brought back memories of my sister watching the show every single week. When Shaun started singing, there was one lyric (we were traveling in circles…) that made my heart skip a beat. He sounded so much like his older brother, David. It was as if the 2 brothers were singing it together…. 🩵
Shaun was the first live show I ever saw. It was at the Providence Civic Center in RI. Wow! He still sounds wonderful! Thank You Shaun for sharing your touching story. 🥰
Had such a crush on Shawn! Had his Tiger Beat posters on my bedroom walls. Never missed an episode of Hardy Boys and played his vinyl albums on my little record player non stop. Also loved Partridge Family and had a huge crush on David. Partridge Family Christmas album is in my top 5 all time favorites!! I also love the song I THINK I LOVE YOU by Partridge Family. David's vocals just make me wanna sing at the top of my 🫁 when I listen to this song. RIP David. Shawn your an awesome brother.
What a nice tribute. Back in the 70s I was a big fan of both David and Shaun. If you listen you can hear a similarity in their voices... Well, they are brothers.
I had such a crush on Shaun! He has an amazing voice too! His relationship with David reminds me of my sister and I when we were little, except we were closer in age and had the same parents. But listening to a radio and singing together and fighting with each other is the same thing we did! RIP David 🙏
What a great tribute from one brother to another. The thing that really resonated with me was when he said that the only people you go through this entire journey with is your siblings. How true. I have one sister who is a few years older than me. Several years ago she had a battle with cancer. Even though at some level I knew that there was a possibility that it may not end well, the biggest part of me could not even comprehend such an outcome because she has been the one, and I do mean the ONLY one constant through my whole life and being without her is just inconceivable. Our parents are both gone, grandparents, aunts, uncles...all gone, but not her. Luckily she beat the beast and we still have each other. Of course I do know that some day that will change one way or the other, but for now I totally get what Shaun was saying. RIP David.
Shaun’s a class act. I met him when he appeared at Stage West in Mississauga, Canada. Loved his description of taking the “whole ride with our siblings”. ❤
Beautiful tribute; I love hearing the backstories! The fond and sad memories they have shared. I often wonder where I would be if I went down a different path of life. I then realize and accept the journeys I have traveled as different challenges. Am I famous; only to those who know me, chosen to love me for who I have come to be because of those different challenges and success stories. Only Shaun and his family knows and has experienced David's challenges and succeses. These celebration of tributes are very challenging to most people. Both David and Shaun bring back great preteen and teen memories. I do remember what a transistor radio is! My sister and I used to do the same thing. Once we all got them for Christmas from my grandmother. I had more of a crush on Shaun, but I appreciated them both equally!
Wow, blast from the past. The Cassidy boys had that “boy next door” smile that swallowed you up and voices that melted you. What a sweet bit of brotherly love and treasured memories he shared.
Wow! They sounded great! That was really sweet. And David was truly funny. From the outside, the Partridge Family may have looked like fluff but it still holds-up as great entertainment. Really funny and some great music.
I remember growing up and being so in love with David. I wasn't even born yet when the Partridge Family aired but I was blessed to watch the re-runs. I was then again blessed to see David perform at EPCOT. When he sang "I think I love you" I reached out to him and he grabbed my hand and gave it a little squeeze and smiled the sweetest, kindest smile. I will never forget it.
His voice is still amazing.
How friggen sad was that , that broke my heart I grew up with him thought he was the biggest star I’ve ever seen . Thank you Shaun for such a great tribute to David
Close your eyes & it's like it's David in simply a lower key. Shaun has the same gift as David. Thank you Shaun for keeping his memory alive.
no not...
AWESOME DON'T YOU THINK??💗💜💗💜💗
They sound NOTHING alike. David had a very unique sound that Shaun does not have. Nice tribute though.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Shaun Cassidy is an excellent singer. His tribute to his brother David is absolutely beautiful. I wish l had seen David in concert like l did Shaun.
Yes, you can hear a similarity in his voice to David’s. Shawn’s a good man.
His voice is still amazing,, the some Meet Me Half Way is one of the best songs ever..
The Cassidy's and Shirley Jones were such fixtures of my childhood. Good to see Shaun doing well. Love him.
what a voice
Seeing Shaun is like being young again and his caring words about David is just amazing how he loved his brother. RIP David heaven has a special man now.

I just turned 61 too. October 2023. I was a huge fan ( still am :)
Shaun is such a class act.
Rest In Peace , David.
🙏🏽
David had a brother as nice as I had. Very kind!
In my day, they were heart throbs. They were both amazing. Everyone wanted David's hair. The Hardy Boys was the show that made Shaun famous. Very good years.
"Say It's Not True" is haunting & breathtaking. Shaun's so amazing in bringing it back to life. Awesome!
I ❤ it and agree with you it's like David was coming through Shawn 's singing fantastic brother ❤ RIP David 😢
Shaun Cassidy has a great singing voice. I remember watching him & Parker Stevenson on The Hardy Boys in the 70's.
What a lovely tribute, I am happy I came upon this.
Both a huge part of growing up for me. Every boy wanted to be either and every girl wanted to be with them. At least the people I was around did.
What a great tribute to your brother!! You were both my teen idols years ago… love you both ❤❤❤
I hear David in his voice. Beautfully done. David and Shaun so talented. Came by honestly.
Thanking you Shaun for your reminiscing about David. I lost a younger brother few years ago. I find myself missing him at odd times. When I'm not even thinking about him at all. Thank you for the songs as well.

I miss David.... Met him and saw him in EFX Vegas many times... He was such a talent!
How stunningly beautiful! Shaun was my biggest crush growing up and I had the pleasure of meeting him in the late 80s.
Wonderful vocals. Nice tribute to David,😊
Well done Shaun, that was a beautiful tribute to your brother🙏, and a man who was taken away far too soon. 💔 RIP David, I sincerely hope you have found peace. ❤
Shaun is such a good guy, & he still sounds great! ❤
His voice is still clear and strong at 65. Pretty amazing.
I was a huge David Cassidy fan, back in the 1970s. Loved to watch The Partridge Family too! Loved Shaun Cassidy in The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries too! Man, this brings back memories.
O.M.G! Shaun, uou sound so much like David! I cried, to hear you sing, and David to come forth in your songs!
I had such a crush on you both...
What a beautiful tribute to David. You have a great voice, Shaun.
May David & Jack Rest in Peace 🕊️ 🕊️🕊️
So sad we lost David
loved him growing up and still now as an 60 year old adult!💗💜💗💜💗💜💗
Wow!!!!!The talent runs deep in the Cassidy men!

I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend, Jill. May his memory always be a blessing for you.
Beautiful! I've always been a fan of both brothers. I grew up reading all about them and posting their pictures on my walls, notebooks, everything. Teen Beat and Tiger Beat magazines were the best!
Me, too!!
Wasn't there a "Tiger Beat Star"?

Hardy Boys. nuff said.
What a treat to hear Shaun sing again. Thanks for posting.
What a beautiful and touching tribute to David!
Still a beautiful voice. Love this man
God bless you Shaun.
The Shaun Cassidy album was my very first record I bought in 1977. I was 8 years old. I later discovered The Beatles and Led Zeppelin at 13.
Beautiful tribute to David thank you Shaun ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Shaun has an amazing voice as well and he reminds me so much of David!! Miss David but he is singing with the angels!
I remember KHJ, it's nice to know that David and Shaun really cared about each other.
Dammmmnnnnnnn
Beautiful
Thnx for your honesty ... David's struggles kept others sober thru tough times
GenX here. I used to watch Partridge Family and was a big fan of Shaun Cassidy in 1976-1977 when I was 12 yrs old. Thanks for the memories. 🙌🏼🥰
This hit hard tonight. Beautiful tribute.
Two of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE songs ever! Beautifully done, Jack Cassidy was so underrated, brutally handsome and talented man, gone too soon.
Jack was a brut to his kids. Go listen to David or Shirley interviews. Jack hated David he was jealous of him. David was everything Jack wasn't
Such a beautiful tribute to David, thank you Shaun. I remember seeing you both on Broadway in Blood Bothers, such a great show!
The song that David and Shirley used to sing on the Partridge Family brought back memories of my sister watching the show every single week.

So beautiful, thank you, Shaun.
Shaun Cassidy looks like his mother, Shirley Jones
Shaun was the first live show I ever saw. It was at the Providence Civic Center in RI. Wow! He still sounds wonderful! Thank You Shaun for sharing your touching story. 🥰
What a beautiful tribute to David, Shaun.
Wonderful! I was a little girl when The Partridge Family was on. I always adored him , and we shared the same birthday!
Shaun this is fantastic. I still have your albums. You are so talented and grounded. I miss your music.
Love this tribute!!! I was very fortunate to see David and Shaun in Blood Brothers Thanksgiving week in 1993. It was amazing!
Lovely, brought me to tears.
Beautiful tribute!!!!
That guy and those brothers were HUGE when I was a kid, it was nice to see him again and his tribute to David 😁
Great cover and great singing too Shaun , well done
Such a talented family ❤ great job Shaun, we all miss David
Beautiful. Thank you. Wishing peace to all who love David when the pain of loss strikes.
Had such a crush on Shawn! Had his Tiger Beat posters on my bedroom walls. Never missed an episode of Hardy Boys and played his vinyl albums on my little record player non stop. Love that song! Touching. ♥️David Cassidy! Another powerhouse of a Voice!
What a nice tribute. Back in the 70s I was a big fan of both David and Shaun. If you listen you can hear a similarity in their voices... Well, they are brothers.
Brilliant! Love(d) both Shaun and David Cassidy since I was eight years old! Have all their records...this warms my heart! God bless you, Shaun!
how adorable,
What a voice Shaun has. This was touching. I remember Shaun and Parker Stevenson as The Hardy Brothers. 😊
Thanks Shaun, I love David too. I think you're great.
Such an honor to your late brother... How touching Shaun.
Awesome, heartfelt, and wow Shaun still sounds great
He sounds pretty good. Nice to see him celebrate his brother.
This is beautiful.
Wasn't a fan of either as pop idols, but seeing them in Blood Brothers was impressive. Was glad to see their talent
I had such a crush on Shaun! He has an amazing voice too! His relationship with David reminds me of my sister and I when we were little, except we were closer in age and had the same parents. I didn’t remember Shaun as being such a terrific singer. Bravo! Would enjoy hearing more from him.

This is so sad to lose David. Poor family!
Wow….wasn’t aware that Shaun had such a fantastic voice👏🏻💜
We knew ♥️
@@andreadeamon6419 yup.
Soon as Shaun started singing I heard David. My heart breaks for him. I lost my brother Sean almost 25 years ago.
A very nice tribute to his brother David, my teen crush.. You sing very nice Shaun Cassidy...I liked you in The Hardy boys, with Parker Stevenson.
Saw them both in blood brothers…..amazing play…..so glad I saw them together
Wow! They sounded great! That was really sweet. And David was truly funny. From the outside, the Partridge Family may have looked like fluff but it still holds-up as great entertainment. Really funny and some great music.
Very touching.
I was a huge fan may he have peace and rest with music surrounding him God bless good rest in peace ❤😊
Oh, what a sweet man. What a genuine tribute. Thank you for sharing your hear. Still love the whole Cassidy family. Thanks forthe memories.
Looks like John Schneider singing with the lights and dark.
I remember growing up and being so in love with David. I wasn't even born yet when the Partridge Family aired but I was blessed to watch the re-runs.

Loved David and Shaun and the incredible Petula Clark in Blood Brothers!
Great tribute to your brother. Shaun, you look so much like your dad...You look great. Thanks for the memories.
