mytipsycat omg, I’m 51 now and I’m with ya here! I got Born Late for Christmas the year it came out and didn’t care about any other gifts! Watched the Hardy Boys every time it was on. The only crush I had worse than the Hardy Boys was Leif GARRETT. It’s fun to go back and revisit the age, it was good times and innocent crushes. I showed my 8 yr old daughter this video and she said “hey he’s cute”. Ha!

I had Born Late, UnderWraps, I had every album he recorded. Dah Doo Run Run, Hey Deenie My baby she wrote me a letter, I realize that song was originally done by Eddie Money but Shaun Cassidy covered it very well!!!! I am 54 years old and I still remember most of the words to his songs 🎵 I remember being at his concerts and listening to all of the girls screaming, of course I was one of them!! I remember his skin tight satin pants and his perfectly feathered hair 😍 I would wait eagerly each week for Teen Beat, and Tiger Beat magazine for the centerfold of Shaun Cassidy to hang with the others on my bedroom wall. I would save my allowance and my babysitting money to buy his latest album, or perhaps one I didn't have. I loved him so much. I remember when he got married!!!! I was just devastated!!! I love Shaun Cassidy to this day and the wonderful memories of those moments of my life ❤️

After devouring all of the Nancy Drew books and delving into Hardy Boys... this came to life and there was Joe Hardy in all of his cute, feathered hair-ness and angelic voice and I fell in love with Shaun Cassidy when I was ten years old! Great memories and respect for him these days.

I knew he created that show. There was a guy on TV who interviewed Shaun Cassidy and he said that he saw his name as the creator of the series but he thought it was someone else who's name was spelled the same way. Then he finds out that it was indeed the one and only Shaun Cassidy from "The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries" that created the series. I also enjoyed watching "American Gothic". It was a great show, just too bad it was cancelled after just one season.

He does. He just finished a Northeastern music tour. He is doing smaller venues and performing his songs and doing some storytelling. He is one of the producers of the NBC show New Amsterdam and when the show is on break, he will be going out and doing anther leg of his tour. He did the northeast already, so not sure where he is going next, but you can follow him on facebook or instagram and especially instagram he seems to post more about the tour there when it starts up again. Hope this helps! You can purchase a meet and greet ticket. I am a member of a Shaun group on Facebook and we are very involved. Many of our members have gotten to go to the shows and have their picture with him it has been great. I am waiting for him to come down to the southern states.
Oh, also, if you go to his facebook page or instagram and scroll a ways thru his posts from a few months ago, you can probably spot a video of a portion of his last song of the night, or his tribute to David.
I soooo have been missing the old days. Loved the 70's and 80's. I really do miss those times... they were better. I pity the kids who are growing up in these times....

Eight days later on November 6th, 1977 it entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart at position #77; and nine weeks later on January 8th, 1978 it peaked at #7 {for 2 weeks} and would spent 16 weeks on the Top 100...
On the same 'Bandstand' show he also performed "That's Rock 'N Roll"; and at the time it was in its second week at #3 on the Top 100, that was also its peak position…
After "Hey Deanie" he had two more records that made the Top 100 chart; a covered version of "Do You Believe in Magic" {reached #31} and "Our Night", which stayed on the Top 100 for 3 weeks, peaking at #80...

My brand new blue satin pants were literally shredded and black trying to get close to the stage cause I couldn’t hear him above the screaming…!
