SawStop people... if you make this fence exactly as RW did, let us know how it turned out. The marker board is fkn genius! It's great that you took inspiration from other fence videos then added your own tweaks to make it just a little better. Awesome fence!
Thank you! Glad you liked the marker board idea! Yea, it be an issue for a SawStop if they forget to turn off the brake system.
Very impressive step-by-step video! I had watched the comparison of the five sleds about a month ago, and was very pleased to see that you had done the compilation to make the “ultimate” sled. You saved me many hours of deliberating about which features to choose!!
Glad I could help! Thank you for watching!
No way. The video is finally finished??? I can't believe it.
Lol! Yup, took me long enough...
I've seen some nice sled designs but this is one I may actually try out.
Thank you! It was a fun build.
So many great ideas and tips. I I appreciate that your not afraid to show your Ryobi tools. Looking for to more videos.
Thank you! Gotta use what I have!
@@RedemptionWoodcraft the old blue Ryobi tools looked and worked better than the neon green of today.
I've watched a few videos of late on accessories for the table saw and miter station. There's a lot of useful stuff out there to draw from in making your own "eventually". I have a shop that has taken over my entire basement (that of a 5500 sq ft house, so it's big) and my 3 car garage. I have a Felder sliding table saw (12") in the garage which I use for taking material down, and then I have a top-of-the-line Harvey saw in the basement that I can use all of my collection of 10" blades, dado's, Incra fence, jugs etc with. I've been re-modelling the entire basement shop which will take until the end of the year to complete. After re-doing the drop ceiling and lighting the first real project to tackle is the miter station. It will be a beast of a project just like most of em! Back to your project, the thing that really impressed me was the fence extensions. That idea I will definitely be thieving from you! Nice job man.
Man, you're making me jealous with all of that space and toys!
Yes, there is a lot out there to pull from! Thank for watching!
That is awesome!
Thank you Steven!
This was really really well done. I think your channel is getting ready to blow up!!!
Thank you! I hope it does!
Awesome video! Love the features. I've been debating whether to buy James sled (from Kings Fine WW) or make my own. $300+ is a lot IF you can make it (or tell yourself you can) but so is making it, so still debating haha.
Cheers neighbor! Not really your neighbor but we live in Texas too 😂🍻
Howdy neighbor! Thank you for watching. I will say I don't think I saved any money on it by the time I bought all the materials with all the hardware I put on it. I hadn't totaled what all the materials and hardware cost but I bet it's over $300. But you could absolutely do it cheaper if you don't laminate it like I did.
What part of texas are you in? I think its pretty cool seeing fellow texans woodworking on youtube.
DFW area you?
Great video!
Where in Texas are you?
the best way to cut laminate is with the table saw, just make sure there's no gap from the fence to table saw top
Good to know. I'll have to try that next time. But, the fence on my saw has rounded edges. I imagine the might make it difficult.
Thanks for watching!
Like it but I’m not sure I could lift it😊
It does have some weight to it. My guess is it's between 30 an 40 lbs. Thank you for watching.
Why do you have that music on while you are talking if that keeps up in can't subscribe good work though
Thank you for the feedback. So, when you say "while you are talking" do you mean when I am talking to the camera, during the voice over, or anytime I am speaking? Thank you for watching.
Also who are some of your favorite woodworkers here on RUclips? I'd love to learn from how they do it.
Hear are 2 keath Johnson and burbonmoth
@@raymondpollotta3303both of those woodworkers use music In their videos
I love Jason and Keith! Actually watching @Bourbonmoth is part of my inspiration for starting this channel.
Dump the "MUSIC" ... Sounds like a bad workout video from the 70's. Good info otherwise.
Thanks for the feedback. Glad you enjoyed it in spite of the music. Thank you for watching!
