OMG Stewart!… how the hell did you pull that song off with only your acoustic?!?! BRILLIANT! Absolutely LOVE all your renditions! Thank you for sharing your “Tull joy”!
That was colossal! An abundance of energy released after such a long period between songs. Undoubtedly well worth it. Captured every nook and cranny of the song with one instrument. Another song #4 on an album side. So many #4 songs are my favorites and I think Ian's too based on concert playing and referencing. I always thought he intentionally put those in the #4 position. Great shirt too as Robert Weber here points out. He and I have gone to many Tull shows in the NY/LI area as I also am from the Isle of Long. He is my cousin's husband and we have gotten together for the Tull and now Martin shows. Tull music always meant to be played with so many instruments melding like a symphony but you are the only one to get away with using only one. Thanks again for your great efforts!
One of the masterpieces of Jethro Tull, even though it is not famous like their classic songs. Well done! It was a challenge, to cover a titanic song like this with only acoustic guitar and voice, but it seems that you made it! And your voice is similar to Ian's, too. I also appreciate very much your spoken introductions where you explain what the songs are about; with Anderson's lyrics, there is always some interesting meaning, as we obviously know. Greetings from Italy!
Great job ....again it’s good you kept it within its original key. This is the song that made me a Jethro Tull fan forever. Your thoughts about the piece are very similar to how I interpreted it and expanded my own ❤️🙏🏼🎵
You are a gem and this is a wonderful and DIFFICULT cover! Stormwatch is my favorite Tull album and this made my day bigtime! Thank you for sharing with us!
Hell Yes!!! Very nice indeed! Love it ! Good job. I am inspired to tackle this one myself. I've been working on the acoustic parts of A Passion Play recently.
Thank you so much. Check out the sections of A Passion Play on my channel if you like (I've done 4 sections, one more coming soon) & do get in touch if you want to discuss how to play them
@@DailySporran I went to school (SVA) down on 23rd St. in the 70's and have loved NYC ever since. Never actually lived in the city but have lived on Long Island my entire life. I've definitely seen and enjoyed many a Tull show on the Island and NYC. And by the way love your playing and really enjoy your posts. Truly a highlight during these times. Thank you so much!!!!!
I know that you love and have a personal connection with this song and don't necessarily love some of the other songs on the album, but I was wondering if you might consider doing "Something's on the Move"?
Thank you. Yes I'll do Something On The Move. Not least because it is huge fun to play. I'm actually a fan of every Stormwatch song. Some days it is my favourite Tull album, always in my top 3
@DailySporran Excellent! I have discovered that I was very much mistaken and you have done almost the entire Stormwatch album! I've been enjoying listening to it. It's one of my favorites, too. Thanks again!
Bravo! Well done! Very impressed with your interpretation of that. Thank you!
Awesome, thank you for your outstanding rendition!
Great...an excellent performance for a very difficult song. Congratulations.

That was incredible. Respect. Hoping you'll do Velvet Green.
Not only you playing all these chords progressions with precision, you able to sing it perfectly. OMG.
Hell yeah!
Fantastic performance!
You’re Ian and Martin in one go don’t know how you do it, one word incredible 👍
God blessed John Glascock 🙌

Superb. Also in my top 3. And compliments on your comments on the lyrics all along, which may prove to be as significant as the musical scores.
Cool cover! We'll done, sir!

Great Tull covers, could you cover Jump Start...................
Superb. Wonder if Ian wrote it that way in the beginning as he is a fenomenal acoustic guitar player.

You score 100% in the looks department, also 100% in the playing , the only thing is the vocals are a bit weak.
Thanks Gene, I’ll definitely take 100% in the looks department. All the best,
