This is a really nice song, both lyrically and musically. The original suffers a bit from period production, but you really bring out the essence of the tune, Stewart. Well done!
Excellent as usual. Soooo different than what was to become. Light and breezy Summer pop. I can imagine hearing it on my transistor radio. "This REALLY Was!" Like a completely different band. I've always loved this one. As intelligent and talented as Ian is, he sometimes doesn’t know a good song when he hears/performs one. 😂 Cheers.
Wow! What a treat! Haven’t heard this in ages. I have a copy of this on a Polydor “Rare Tracks” compilation album on cassette, along with Sunshine Day. Great cover, Stewart, Thank you very much 🤓
I’m sorry to hear that Ian doesn’t care for this song - I liked it from the first time I heard it on the 20th anniversary box set. As always,Stewart, well done.
Back in 1967, I was two and probably pissing my self randomly and probably throwing a random 'shite' into the mix, and now approaching my 60th day of birth thing not much has changed. Not my fault due to Epilepsy.
I love the way you sing and play this! (Interesting that Ian Anderson doesn't like it; I haven't yet heard Tull play it but I would love to hear it in his natural voice rather than the one be used for the bluesy songs)
What a lovely rendition of a sweet and charming song. Your remarks are always highly valued. The sound kind of reminds me of a certain Simon Dupree and the Big Sound. Whatever happened to them?
Yes you’re right about the Simon Dupree comparison! They of course made the huge mistake of becoming a technically world-leading prog band pushing back the frontiers of music. Not like Tull of course…. 😀
WOW!!❤
Great cover as always Stewart! Thanks for posting!
Woah! Never did I think I’d hear a cover of aeroplane, but extremely glad I did. Delightful guitar playing

It's always an absolute blessing for me hearing from you, dear Stewart!
You went very early tull!
Respect brother 🎉
You kicked it. Nice aa always. Wow. Fantastic
Stewart -- cross-eyed mary -- nice -- I cant even keep up with you
what a treat . . . for the Tull fan who's heard (almost) everything !

Very nicely done! Len Barnard. I always learn something new from King Stewart!
Wonderful Stuart ❤ I always look forward to your posts.
Great stuff. I really enjoy this channel...

Spot on Sir Stewart 😊
Has Ian ever made contact with you ??
Or visa-versa ?
I feel like I’ve heard this…was it ever re-released later on CD in a collection or something?
It's on 20 years of Jethro Tull 1988 3cd boxset
@@mikel4797 I thought so! My brother had that boxed set and I borrowed it years ago. That would be where I heard it. Thanks!
Sorry Ian, but you’ll have to accept that I and many others will enjoy some of the songs you don’t like
