haha splendid rendition ,, super professional take.. I remember in my youth buying this at cd discount music traders market in northern new jersey decades ago.. I listened to this many times but wasn't my favorite album but this was a fun tune to listen too..cool shuffle yes very interesting riffs too.. 8:17 agreed ty Stewart very entertaining!
Thanks Stewart. Have always thought this one, whilst ‘mid’ for JT, could have been a major hit for someone else. Nice job again. Very enjoyable and insightful.
I think I like this version more than the original! A was always a least favorite for me. Just couldn’t get into the sound or songs. But loved this version! A new Daily Sporran episode is always an event for me. Very appreciative. 👍
Nicely done Stewart! Interesting fact about the MSG shows. I did not know that. This is one of the very few songs I don't really care for, but I think that your version is miles better than the original. Thanks!
You definitely should! A is one of my favourite albums along with Stormwatch. Many people don't like the later albums, especially the synth heavy ones of the 80's. But they have some interesting tracks
Fond respects for your recent featuring of the more modest and lower profile Tull back songs. They too deserve commentary & compliments, and you well manage to enhance them. Stay safe in and out of the "Houses"!
It's always great hearing from you, dear Stewart 🥰! Can I be honest? This is my least favorite song on the 'A' album :(. The song you mentioned, is 'Journeyman', actually, not 'Weathercock'. Anyhow, great rendition as usual 🥰
Like always super awesome stuff - both the music and the educational stuff at the end. Thank you. (Did you mean to say that the bass line was similar to Journeyman or Weathercock? Seems like you played a snippet of Journeyman)
Love! thank you!
Yes! Wonderful!
Always great!

Never really listened to the A album. I should start checking out post Stormwatcher albums.

I was singing along - 'Low Ratio'
_Excelente versão, obrigado. Quando puder faça uma versão de Ripples do Genesis, Please?_
Great stuff, There are some tricky fiddly bits in this one.

Nevermind - read all the other comments. Pls excuse the last line. And once again accept my gratitude for this channel.
You said "Weathercock" but I think you mean "Journey Man"?
Yes I did (put an apologetic sentence in the notes)
@@DailySporran It's OK.Because your performances are always so perfect, I find some satisfaction in discovering any insignificant mistake! 😜
Let's just call the chorus 7/4; it sounds more prog!
