Perfect timing. I'm currently deciding between Haywood and Maltby TS4 and could not find a comparison anywhere and then I somehow came across the video. Bless you. Solidified my decision to go with the Maltbys.
Awesome!!! Video.... I'm also a 6.7.... looking at getting the TS4s as I want something more forgiving for those weeks that I haven't played or practiced and according to Maltby ratings are way more forgiving than my current T-150 T200 combo.... Thanks for the video
Great comparison. I play the TS4s and love them. I think one of the most important design feature of any of these 3 irons, or any iron you want to consider, is Ralph Maltby's focus on designing these irons with the center of gravity location in the geometric center of the club face.
thank u for great review! bringing up points and showing us views that most reviewers don't take the time to do. Would love to hear the sound comparison on strikes if you ever make more golf content.
@azloganGaming Do the lower nozzle height on the TS4 affect club length when picking standard length? Or do they account for that and give you longer shafts? Or are all these shorter than regular sets?
Hey man great video! Very detailed comparisons that i thnk people will really appreciate. I think i recognize you from MGS? Where you at in AZ? Cheers!
The Haywood irons are the biggest irons I have (toe to heel length X sole to topline height), and I haven't tried enough irons to where I could immediately think of a similarly sized iron model. But from what I know, I would say that they are probably more similar in size to ZX5's rather than ZX7's
Dynamic Gold + MT-Pro irons actually has lowered my scores (eliminated an over-draw left miss). A LAB putter is the only other club I can say that about.

You won't be disappointed! They're SO good!
I have Maltby TS3. Almost got the TS4. Had to stop golf for 5 years. Just picked it up a month ago. Used to be a 6. TS3 are amazing
Great iron comparison. I've played Mizuno irons for years but have recently been looking at the Ts4s. Thanks for the info!
I'm loving the look of the MacGregor irons, wish I could try them out before buying
Just brought the Haywood CBs, I live in Vancouver so good get fitted. I love the finish

what is your handicap index?
Love this kind of nerdy golf stuff. Keep it up 🙌🏼
I have matlby ts1 irons and they are amazing polymer injected forged pretty forgiving and great to look at
What does that have to do with the ones he’s showing here? They are different clubs.
thank u for great review! bringing up points and showing us views that most reviewers don't take the time to do. Would love to hear the sound comparison on strikes if you ever make more golf content.
I built a *Maltby TS4 7 iron* and it's so fun to hit. Thinking about building out the set.
(I don't need anymore clubs!) _grrrrrrr_
What flex are you using on that ruler?
Just bought a cheap set of Maltby STI2 irons. Took me from a 10.5 to a 6 in 2 months. The bad hits are not that bad
What did you play before the STi2s?
Great comparison video. Thank you!!
Nice work! Great information.
Very informative!
Nice static presentation, but some actual shot comparison with stats would be very helpful.
@azloganGaming Do the lower nozzle height on the TS4 affect club length when picking standard length? Or do they account for that and give you longer shafts? Or are all these shorter than regular sets?
Very good video. Are you more of a digger or a sweeper?
Hey man great video! Very detailed comparisons that i thnk people will really appreciate. I think i recognize you from MGS?

Cheers!
What iron would you compare the Haywoods to in size? The 7 iron CB top line looks kind of like the ZX7 or P770.

Your smoke detector needs new batteries
Yeah, that’s fucking annoying. You can’t pull the batteries before doing a fucking video? Come on dude do better.
He must keep head covers on them, there’s no bag chatter
12/16ths 😂😂😂. We just call that three quarters bud
When you put dynamic gold shafts in maltby your right at $700
But is it really gonna lower your score much?
Dynamic Gold + MT-Pro irons actually has lowered my scores (eliminated an over-draw left miss). A LAB putter is the only other club I can say that about.
*chirp*
No LH !!!!
I have left hand Haywood’s, awsome
No LH !!!.
