It's taglish! People who can't speak fluently a language would do this. I do the same when I'm speaking visaya, tagalog combined with English or i switch between languages like Spanish and French. I'm not fluent in all 4 languages so i would use this same method as her. Hilarious 😁 😆

You can try to steam using a steam safe containers (not plastic, metal but oven safe glass cookwares) instead- or even microwave would do 👍

  • @creativebebe

I am Korean and while the clay pot is nice to have, it’s not necessary to make this egg dish.
My family made this in the larger metal bowls or regular smaller pot when the clay pots were used for other dishes. (Large family).
Make it with what you have…

Hi! Im trying to cook Korean steamed egg. Pero habang nagluluto, nakaka-experience ako ng overflowing. Nagpa-panic ako kaya't hininaan ko yung init. Yung end result is a steamed egg na hindi kasing ganda as yours po. I really dont know po bakit nagkakaroon ng overflowing.
Hope you could give me advice. TY in advance po

    • @deliciousLeewithAra

Hi there 😉 try to lessen ng konti ang volume ng egg mixture, para hindi siya mag overflow. Mag puff up talaga siya kapag naluluto

Its really called “JJIM” translated as ‘steam’ in english and theres really two kinds of cooking food in a “Jjim” process- 1) cooking food in slow heat with minimum water; and 2) the most commonly known process where in we cook using the hot evaporated steam from boiling hot water.
In this case, its sort of slow cooking in low fire with min water 👍
This is the common cooking process in Korean cuisines. ❤️
