Thankyou for your awesome presentation! Bought new home in Deluna and landscapers who put lawn in - Tri County Landscapers did a pretty bad job! At closing about 15% lawn dead patches! Learned they never did fertilization nor cinch bug controls! This company was very unprofessional and amateurs that didn’t even know when I asked them if there was cinch bugs! My lawn thanks to you I’m confident will come back. I’m wondering if this company doesn’t treat before closing just so you call them for monthly service???? Hum… seems suspicious to me after what they did or say …didn’t do.
Great advice on grass care here, I mow on the highest setting, My husband and I have had cinch bug battles, We have bought commercial grade bug sprays and applied them, Then there are sod web worm, They eat the lawn also, moles come in to eat those but the damage is horrendous if you don't get a handle on sod web worms, It's always a battle here in Florida, They have Tshirts that read "I fought the lawn and the lawn won" Wonderful information for everyone Frank and Susan, Thank You 👍
St. Augustine grass is a tripping hazard. We had it when we lived in Texas. It grows on runners that have a tendency to run over top of the soil, leading to places on your lawn where you can trip over the runners.
Do chinch bugs attack zoysia grass as well? If you lay new sod can you put down zoysia? Their grass like the rest of TV standard landscaping is cheap crap. I’d like to see how much they make on the sale of one of their new basic villas which are now around $400K+. It’s got to be around half of the purchase price. I can’t believe it even costs $200K to build one.
