- Here are a list of things you should know before buying a 370Z, and a list of things I personally hate about the vehicle.

A few things:
1. You say the interior is dated. The 370Z has been in production since ‘08 with the models debuting as ‘09. It’s been 10 years, so yes, it will feel dated. Also, you have the base model. If you want something decent, spend some money.
2. You don’t buy a 370Z or any sports car for cup holders and space. The whole point of a sports car is to sacrifice comfort/luxury in return for performance.
3. Let me tell you what I hate about YOUR car: that wing.
4. You don’t buy a 370Z or any sports car to complain about gas. Go buy a civic if you are worried about gas mileage.
5. You mentioned about the seats being hard to get in/out of. They are technically bucket seats and designed to keep you firm in the seats.
1. Spending a few thousand for a decade old nav unit and some leather seats does not make for an updated interior.
2. Well aware of this trade off, these comments are more directed towards an average consumer who might want to know about practicality.

5. Yes, the Z has high bolstering which I personally like. I'm actually looking at swapping out for real bucket seats. But I've seen and heard people complain about and struggle with getting out so again, wanted to warn new buyers.

The 370z is what it is, it's worked for a long time. For what it was it is a great sports car for the money secondhand. If you don't, can't handle the manual get an auto, they one of the best auto box out there. 😎
Less is more when it comes to interiors. As for safety ratings, seriously? The whole point of a car like the Z is that the person behind the wheel has nothing but contempt for their own mortality, and the car is a reflection of the soul of the driver.
Too true. If you own a sports car like this, you obviously view life as a fleeting opportunity for cheap thrills and gasoline fumes. Only an immature adult would take his life into his hands in one of these overpowered death traps.
Getting mine this Tuesday.
I hit a gum tree at 120km (70mh), and I lived. Fractured neck and spin with a couple of broken ribs. If I was in another earlier car, I think I wouldn't be commenting on this vid today.

Love the z..I've had a couple....only thing I don't like about the 370 are those) stupid gages on top the dash...I like the overall look of it but volts and a clock are just useless...the oil teml is good but the other two gages should've been water temp and oil press...those 2 poseur gages bug the hell out of me...I have no other complaints about outdated interior or blind spots cause c'mon its a sports car...hence my complaint about the triple guages
The clock ain't useless! You don't have to look at your phone or watch, you can just glance to the right and see what time it is. I think that's great!
The Mitsubishi Lancer with the SST has loud clutch chatter as well
I thought it was just me. Im 6'3 and i slide sideways in and out of my 370. The cupholder is my biggest petpeeve. When you put a cup in the holder, youre going to knock it over when you sit. Also being tall i wish i could lower the seat height as well because often i cant see the green lights overhead.
Outside of that stuff i love my car. I toss my phone in the middle section. I like being snugged in the car because of height. I feel like i can control it better that way. Its a sports car so i expect it to be plain. I love the start up with the gauges doing the bounce, and thankfully i dont have a manual. Seems people have the worst time with them. I will say, i was wondering about a new wing and this race wing looks better than i thought it would.
I would agree the clutch chatter is bad.
1200 for a set of headlights or the bulbs? If it’s for the whole headlight unit that’s dirt cheap. My car runs 3k each for a headlight. 600 each is literal dirt cheap.
I wonder what happens to Carizon?? I really like his videos but there no more new video at all.

Shift 1st-2nd under 2 grand for a smooth shift. Yea the seats suck. Great cars

Sounds to me like you got your Z for all the wrong reasons should’ve gotten the Camry
i think its nice the interior because its simple looking i love how mine looks. And the shifter feels nice and smooth in mine. imo and as far as price its a sports car everything will be expensive don't buy a sports car if you don't like the cost for parts tires etc. And driving the car is really a joy. i always put my phone right on the lip in front of the gear shifter right over top the S mode and 4 way button and it sits there and the shifter doesn't even hit it good spot
When you run your finger across the dirty paint it acts like sandpaper with the existing dirt. Those scratches not be as noticable on white, but don't try that on black paint

I don’t know what that sound is with your clutch, you might want to look into getting that checked unless you’ve done something aftermarket and I’m talking out of my ass. But I’m stock and at idle, mine is smooth as butter. I can definitely agree that 2nd can be tricky to get into though!
And you didn't figure🤔 all this out before you bought the car... Wow🤐

By boring I intended to say it is very outdated for 2018.
Maybe you should've spent the extra bucks and got the navi so it looks fuckin perfect and wouldn't have that goofy hole.
Not a fan of Nissan's navigation interface. Looking for an aftermarket double din instead.
Yeah man... understated is the way to go. 'Modern' interiors are so overwrought IMHO. All these edges, LEDs, surfaces and colours everywhere. 370 is simple and elegant.

What are those centre console 3 buttons near the cup holder?
They are switches that I found online that perfectly fit the dummy covers that nissan puts on the base model. One of them controls the third brake light. I am currently finding uses for the other two.
The Carizon cool upgrade! The MY18 now has the middle one dedicated to release the trunk.
Curious to know how that works. The aftermarket struts I installed helped but it still doesn't open on it's own sometimes.
I think it's just unlocks the trunk, without having to reach for the button at the back near the licence plate
@@thecarizon504 if you remove the 2 rubber (spring loaded) stops near the bottom of the tail gate. you can shim the inside with a rubber washer. this will make it pop open easier.
I am not a fan of 370 interior. Being outdated is one thing. But I think its the design that I hate with everything rounded Mini Cooper-like theme. Its just too...cute.
I can so agree with the clutch I hate the clutch in the car 2 long travel before it engages
Been driving the car for almost a year now and I still feel like I haven't gotten used to it.
Daddy Z that can be adjustment but with a centre thrust bearing they can demonstrate a lack of “over centre” feel to the thrust. Almost like a dead peddle feel that is constant to the floor
So we got a 370 with no ratings but the skyline is not u s legal because of the same reason😫

I've been driving this car since March and the blind spots are only problematic if you don't back in somewhere. If you honestly can't tell who is on your right/4 o' clock your door windows aren't positioned properly. If you don't know how long your car is behind you, you're just a piss poor operator. Honestly if you kick both windows out, you have no problem seeing who is right/left and behind you. You should not be able to see your car in your side windows if they're positioned properly, when I see this complaint it's like a dead giveaway the operator doesn't know what he's doing and just knows how to make the car go in forward and reverse.
Why did you buy the vehicle, why did you not go and buy yourself a corolla?! would have suited you better. Stop your whining and Take your car to the track.
Because I like the car? I am just pointing out the downsides for other buyers, I actually love the Z.
Already planning on tracking it in Nov. Will be at Touge Fest.
